I would like to have a guitar from my birth year 1959 (Gibson or Fender) but everything from 1959 is pretty expensive , plus I am a disabled person so it is hard to get anything at all on a disability check :-)
You know brother, I have built probably around half of my 14 guitar collection. Most all of them have good parts,sd pickups, gotoh and sperzel tuners,fender pickguards,and pickups, nice quality built stuff. My point is this,I bought a low level entry Ibanez gio with dual humbuckers in dark blue with a black pickguard,beautiful and let me tell you,the thing is a hot rod. The neck is satin and smooth as silk. No sharp frets or anything. It just plays like a million bucks. I can definitely see the hype around the brand. Always wanted one but never could afford a rg or something else. Im poor and get my stuff slowly and always on clearance sale. But thank you, you're videos rock.😉

Too bad that I missed out on getting a Les Paul Goddess. Love the idea of the thinner body and slim neck,especially the 1 vol and 1 tone setup. All of my 4 knob guitars have been converted to a 2 knob set because I just dont need 4.

Check out the Trini Lopez model if you want something like the Dave Grohl signature but at a significantly reduced price. The Grohl is actually based off of the Lopez and I strummed one in a guitar center one time and almost bought it on the spot!

The Wish site sells new stock parts some branded some not at a cut rate in most cases. I bought speed knobs for a guitar I'm planning at $2.00 a set. Also bought a brass nut and a gold plated strat style input fairly cheap. I've even seen some of the upgrade pickups by Epiphone on this site. Just have to watch. Some things come from China and or have a steep shipping charge.
I was preety much broke the last couple of years, was struggling with clinic depression and these videos kinda saved me. Chatted with Austin he helped me a lot and now I own 2 Fenders from the 90's (start plus and a American deluxe) and a Les Paul classic
@Charles Easterling i actually hate my gibson, it's now a decoration in my living room and i dont see it going back in my studio room anytime soon I hate how it plays after i switched to Jackson Custom and Ibanez
@Charles Easterling It was my first guitar tho and bought it like 17 years ago, but then i switched to Jackson and never been able to back to Gibson It's too heavy and have a shit balance, the neck is way too thick ( and i have a 8 string, so i know stuff about large neck ) Impossible to get the string to a height i like without them touching the fretboard, it's just a nightmare to play with it... Gibson SG Alpine White, at least it looks good in decoration

I have it purely as a wall hanger because I won't put my real 2007 Pelham Blue DG 335 on the wall. Must be something with the paint process. Every car I've seen that was Pelham blue never faded or changed in GM paint. I was after a guy for awhile to sell me a 62 Corvette that was Pelham blue it was at least 25 years old.
2 years ago i found an all original 69 Sg Special , outside of a horrible refinishing someone attempted🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, it sounded and played great. I have since properly refinished it. Yes, i know that refinishing a vintage is taboo, but in this case i had no choice

Yeah ... even First Class envelopes have been sketchy lately. I had a couple things "lost" for days or weeks, had to initiate searches to get them delivered. Definitely seems like something changed with the Post Office ... used to be much better.
Mind you, I live in Los Angeles and the package is coming from San Francisco. I'm a bit worried and stressed out at the moment. The sender made a mistake of using the service. The stock pickguard kit was delivered as a separate package. It's a little sketchy that the Guitar itself hasn't been delivered.

Pelham Blue will fade to green as while some of Fender’s shades of blue if they are exposed to a lot of light.
