If you need help building a computer server for external storage, I can help with that. You should be able to keep all of your footage. Also, there's a program called Handbrake, that can compress videos with hardly any loss in quality, and an 85% size reduction.
You lost more than a customer, you lost a fan. And thats a friend. I am sorry to hear that! I like the Tele Baritones and would love to have one but I plan on buying a purple Fender Lead III before I buy one
There is a video on UA-cam of Larry Corsa playing this LCPG-344, the day after it was built (3/19/2020). It is titled: 2005 Gibson LP Std Faded, Larry Corsa Conversion, LCPG-344... enjoy!
Going out of your way to find Charles, contacting his family and sending that guitar was a stand-up thing to do my friend... kudos. zToo much of the world lack this kind of doing the right thing.
@@socialdef3 Dont worry guys, I bet Les handed him one of those new guitars Leo and Orville had teamed up to make with paradise mahogany wood up there. He´s probably rocking his heavencaster with Jimmy and the good old boys right now.
That really sucks. Not to sound harsh or anything, but that is how life is. One moment you are really excited about your guitar and then... We never know. RIP Charles, condolences to his family and stay safe everybody. You are a very noble person, Austin.
Absolutely terrible! Hopefully the Squier ends up in a great collection. Glad to see you reference Charles. We are all part of the Trogly community and a loss of any of us is a tragedy.
We all arrive at Austin's amazing channel due to the fact that we have a common love and appreciation for these wonderful stringed instruments, despite our individual skill levels and experience. RIP Charles, our "Brother in Arms"...
Respect to you for your due diligence in tracking him down. There were many roads you could have taken in this situation, glad to hear you not only did the right thing but that you did exactly what I knew you would do. You're a good guy Austin, glad to say I know you.
Dude, in this day and age for you to man up and do the right thing is so refreshing. Many, many sellers would have chalked it up to "business" and just sold it again, double dipping the same well. Kudos for having a soul and a conscience. You have proven you're trust worthy, and that will earn you more money in the future that the couple hundred bucks you could have made reselling it. Well done man, well done.
What a great thing you did for him.In times like these I have personally seen some great outpouring of great human beings. My father died of covid19 on July 10th and I was floored by how many people reached out. What a great thing you did for a fan Austin.Fantastic.
RIP Doctor Charles. A sad unboxing indeed. I’m glad you were able to get the guitar to his family. It may not mean much too them now. But the action alone is commendable. Sad to hear of his passing. Feel fortunate for what you have. Wether it’s a 100$ Squier or a room full of Gibson’s. Enjoy life. Our time here is finite and fleeting. Find joy in the life that you have and the people you love. Godspeed.
What you did was very classy 👏 I had a Marshall 50w lead 1977 being repaired. The guy was a friend of the family so it was never on paper. He too passed and everything that wasn't on the books sold at auction. I had documented proof that it was mine but they told me that didn't mean squat.
Gary Moore did the reflector knobs for the bridge. He said the higher knobs made it easier to find the bridge without looking. Also, if the push pull is phase, the magnet most likely hasn't been spun. RIP to Peter Green, absolutely brilliant touch and feel for a blues player.
Hi 'Trogly'... I discovered your channel about a week ago and love how you put videos together. I used to collect guitars (not many) but watching your channel has rebirthed my love for guitars that I had in the past! Love the sensitive nature of this video and your heart to share your condolences in this way to the family. On a 'guitar' note, have you ever heard of a Gibson RD Artist? I had traded a Gibson gold top with P90s for it and don't know if I was taken advantage of. Regardless it was still a fun trade... Keep up the great videos! Love this channel and appreciate the love and effort you put into it!
Truely this is Sad , my condolences to his family . It is very respectfull of you to have done the video the way you have , I sincerely hope you and all the viewers and commenters are healthy and doing well .
That Les Paul finish is the Les Paul I needed to make me appreciate Les Paul again. I was a Les Paul guy at first (8 years ago) but now I'm a Tele (Esquire) gut. That finish makes me love Les Paul again. That orange is perfect🤘
You are a good man. You did the right thing pursuing the contact with that family, sending off the guitar that is rightfully theirs and dedicating some time to his memory. You are a rare gentleman!
That’s so sad. My condolences to his family. That is awesome that you went through the trouble to research and figure out what happened rather than just let it go and re sell it. Good on you brother. I have always respected you, but now you’re on a whole other level of respect. Again, my condolences to his family. May they enjoy this guitar, and remember him always. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May they encounter the peace and comfort of the lord during these hard times.
I just subscribed based on your respectful and heartfelt tribute to a strangers unfortunate passing. Hopefully that fender has special meaning to his family and is cherished and played
You're a good guy, Trogly. I'm sure Charles thinks it's awesome to be featured in one of your videos. Rest in Peace, Charles, and hopefully his family finds some comfort in having something he was really passionate about to remember him by.
I have to say I respect your persistence in finding the rightful owner of this guitar. It's nice to see someone's honesty and integrity mean something to them. Hat's off to you, sir. Rest in peace, Charles.
Trogly, thank you for sharing. This was a great story and you are an amazing guy. Others wouldn’t have gone through all that work and may have just kept the guitar and money. You bring some light to this crazy world. Big fan of your channel 👍
Awesome tribute to that poor man....just a reminder that a lot of people leave this Earth every day, and most will only be missed by a few people...I guarantee he's smiling down at your tribute to him...take care, love your channel :)
Too bad about Charles passing, a sad end to the Baritone story. But you obviously gave him some joy, and that's the gift that makes life worth it. Nicely done memorial of his story.
Austin is the most honest dude out there. I wish there were more like him. Love your videos mate. I've learn more about Les Paul's every time I watch. R.I.P Charles.
I'm crying now. I have m.s. and feel like I'm dying. If I do, I hope someone will remember me like you did with him. Feeling like the rest of the world would have kept the guitar. Thanks for caring about someone other than yourself.
My step-fathers name was Charles. He passed recently, and i know he was looking into guitars. He lived in ohio so I was like hold up. My condolences to his family :(
Sad video you did a good thing on your channel that's cool it touched my heart because about 6 months ago I lost my brother inherited a guitar from him and a bunch of pedals and stuff and that's the only reason I started playing guitars cuz I inherited the stuff for my brother but keep up the good work
That guitar looks like it would be a really nice one to learn with, I hope that maybe someone in his family will use it as a way to share the same love of guitars he had. I'm sure he wouldn't want his guitars just sitting around, as guitars are meant to be played. Rest in peace Charles, I hope you get to play all the guitars in the world in the afterlife.
I did a home inspection a couple years ago for a client who was buying a nice house that was out in the country. As I was going through the process I could tell the house was occupied but not really in the kind of order that you typically see in a house for sale. It looked like somebody had left the home without making any preparations for the inspection. There was also a lot of dust and just general signs that nobody had been there for a while. At the end of the inspection as I was consulting with the realtor I found out that the owner had been killed in a motorcycle accident the year before. It definately left me with kind of a morbid and creepy feeling. I wish I had known before I started as I remember being annoyed with the owner for having left the home in the state it was.
Hey thanks for mentioning "Manalishi" I had never heard of the pickup. I have always wondered about the lyrics to Fleetwood Mac's "The Green Manalishi" and the guitar being "Greenish" is interesting.
Anyone else feel like you can only see so many of the same color Gibson's without getting bored? I love ya Trogly but the way the wood grain goes on a Les Paul does not make it sound better or make it more interesting to most. I think this channel would grow if you did other guitars. Also maybe do a video on modern Gibson Quality Control. They may have the worse of any brand. You paid all that money for that Custom Shop Tony Iommi guitar and the pickups fell out....

Austin is a good soul... I think we've come to expect a higher standard from him.
Charles made his way to the great gig in the sky 🙏🏼 rest easy
sadly he didn’t get his guitar in time to bring with him :(
@@kaboomerty1638 Don't need one when there are celestial harps and guitars to choose from!

Wow with no music in the intro completely threw me off and went with the mood so sad :(
My condolences for the family. I am pretty sure he is enjoying music in heaven. I am very sorry.
That is sad. Poor guy never got to play that new Tele. 😥. That speaks to me. I should order one right away, cause you just never know.

Thts to bad trogly , even worse he was a fellow guitar nerd . Hate to lose those .
