Hi bud, Nice video and nice car, earned new subscriber 🤙 I got my hands on RMX2.5 RTR two weeks ago GT500 Mustang body - absolutely loving it. Having hard time to understand what suspension bits are working on rmx2.5 - 2.0 are fully compatible with each other or maybe there is other components that can be fitted as direct replacement 🤔 Ordered Nobel NB4 radio remote plus few little modifications related to gears. Btw there is a video related to how to make wireless lights on body- I think you connect power to the magnets so you don’t have to plug cables every time ✌️
@@dusty_five_2does the one you uploaded come pre built, like with the same body it has in the video, and ofc ready to drive as mentioned in the video in which we know it's.... some come but without the body and controller and other spare parts... i want it to have everything built and about how much was it and where can i buy it.. link?
@@MrBehindTheScenes_ RTR stands for ready to ride, comes with a controller and a blank painted body. You will need a battery. The magnetic mounts, lights, wheels, are accessories. The cage was built from scratch. The receipt is shown in the video, Google the vendor. I covered everything in the video if you would listen carefully! You're not the first to ask the same redundant questions because people don't pay attention or watch entirely. Everything you need to know about it is covered.
@@dusty_five_2 sorry man, i was going back to work and i saw your video and clicked on it last minute, the thumbnail got my attention and the car looks super sick, i did skim through it a bit and definitely nice car but didnt have 40 minutes of your time, 40 minutes long im sure you covered the history behind the car as well😂 nah but yeah thank you for explaining bro... i'll watch it carefully if im really interested in getting the car it is a lot of money for an rc definitely want to watch the video to better inform myself to what im getting into.. definitely watch it soon but thanks for the quick answers to my question man...
@@koguchipower4816 If you play with mst, you're a kid at heart. Myself is included & 40 is just around the corner for me. No I haven't done anything extra to it. Though there is a flame led exhaust kit that arrived. It just has been collecting dust really ever since this video. Life priorities and my dog has cancer.
Question about your lighting setup. What tape are you using to secure the wires to the body? Across the trunk and along the side. Looks like electrical tape but seems like a matte black.
So do I understand correctly that if you buy the Ready To Run version with the purple colour, you get the chassis and a pre-painted body but no way to mount the body? That seems a little crazy. If I buy the 820141 magnetic mount kit, I then have everything required to mount the body, including the bracketry to attach to the chassis at the rear?
Set the round tube parts where you'd want it first, then make the flat drilled pieces. Tape to hold. Glue to set. The cage is attached to the roof part of the car's body only. I would leave a very small gap in between cage + body anywhere else for it to give during impact. Use masking tape to protect the paint when building or designing your cage.
I have a couple of questions regarding this model would you be able to answer them? Is there any way I can contact you outside UA-cam comments? If not I would like to ask what wheel offset sits flush on this car? I'm looking to get "MST TE wheel (+1)" and I'm not sure if I will need spacers.
If you scroll down to christopherpaluck737 comment, he asked about wheels. I've replied... The wheels I have are adjustable. If you pay attention to what's shown in the video: + 9 Rear + 7 Front (Removed 1 lower control arm spacer)
Do you have the stl file for the thing that is holding your drivers seat up at that perfect hieght? You car looks great I have the same body / car! Thanks!
First create or scan a tag into your computer. Shrink the size to fit on your model body style. You can print it on a photo paper + laminate or on a sticker to put on a piece of polystyrene.
Thanks, I did and I gave it a like. My mst bmw just sits and collects dust. My dog has cancer, so most of my time and attention goes to that. Have fun with yours. Cheers and enjoy 🍺
@@dusty_five_2 Thanks very much. I gave you too. Mine is also a showcase model and exactly dust comes through. Understand and wish a good time with best friend!!
Thank you, I understand for rc cars. But in a real car with front engine rear wheel drive, there is never more weight in the back. That is the reason I said drifting an rc car in this setup would be similar to drifting a Porsche in the real world. Except for the tires in this rc has so little traction making the techniques of weight transfer & power over not behave like a Porsche, but more like a rwd front engine vehicle. Of course a real car would also have the ability to upset the rear via clutch kicking or hydraulic ebrake. Where this rc is only heavily relying upon a heavy rear to upset the rear.
@@dusty_five_2I’m looking into getting a rc drift car I really want this model but there sold out of course! I agree with having a more balanced weight in a lot of the bmws they put the battery behind the backseat instead of the trunk.
Quality video 👌 I'm new to the RC world. Hoping to make my first purchase soon 🙏
Super clean wiring! Nice work!

My pleasure 🍺
I brought the TT-02D for my first electric rc. looking at getting the RMX 2.5 ready to run as it has great reviews for a beginner rwd drift rc

Cool !!
Are the 2.5 and 2.0 chassis the same? I want to order a carbon fiber chassis and all i can find are for the 2.0
Great vid. Re the weight though, It's a rwd rc drift car though, you want weight ratio to be higher in the back.
What’s the offset for the wheels?
How did you get those flat sheets into perfectly round tubes for your roll cage? 🤔
Set the round tube parts where you'd want it first, then make the flat drilled pieces. Tape to hold. Glue to set. The cage is attached to the roof part of the car's body only. If you scroll down to christopherpaluck737 comment, he asked about wheels. I've replied...
The wheels I have are adjustable. If you pay attention to what's shown in the video:
+ 9 Rear
+ 7 Front
(Removed 1 lower control arm spacer)
Is the battery and charger included with the car?
Around the 8 minutes mark is your answer
Awesome car! Do you know what the correct wheel offset is for that body?

Do you have the stl file for the thing that is holding your drivers seat up at that perfect hieght? You car looks great I have the same body / car! Thanks!
It's just a standard seat clip in place of the battery holder, position adjusted by a thick double sided foam adhesive.
Where did you get the license plate from? Is it from rc plate? And what size is it?
First create or scan a tag into your computer. Shrink the size to fit on your model body style. You can print it on a photo paper + laminate or on a sticker to put on a piece of polystyrene.
What kind of tape did you use for the lights?
Drilled plastic light buckets to mount the LED lights itself. A paper tape to hold the wires to the body. Double sided tape to hold the control unit.
What battery do you use??
Check the only few comments below. User (ramos.nitrorc) asked the same question. I've replied the battery full description.
bro where did u get the charger?
bro, from SuperG BRO
what dimension-size battery can you use on this?? max size
You can use long packs or shorties. I'm running 3s 5200 prob overkill
@@osmeltorres07 thanks

Let me know we can connect.
Can anyone tell me the difference between rtr version and the kit ep?
Ready To Ride, comes with a controller and the car is ready with receiver, servo, gyro, & motor out off the box.
Where can I buy this at?
I'm pretty thorough if you pay attention, I showed the receipt in the video.
