I 100 % agree and I am having my life back. Still there, but, The good news it's I don't even pass by Facebook that much.I think I got the phobia of it! !!LOL IT has done nothing for me or my business in so many years.. just wasted my time :( and plus I find it DISTRACTING. I rather focus on learning, studying and helping people.

@dwkazzie You're a genius. Funny. You should do a vid in favor of FB. What a gem FB has been in networking, sharing YOUR vids, sharing delightful pics, posts and quotes, propagating vital news, keeping records of truth as well as insanity, testing one's metal in debating, and invigorating the public, and making new friends (via FB I met folks in real life by phone and in person), and several friends reappeared where we had forgotten one another. I'm not addicted to FB but it's a great tool.

@dwkazzie I personally would like to see a video about the multi-million dollar Law School Panic Industry, the mountain of study guides that students can spend as much money on as casebooks. It boggled my mind in law school that an entire industry can be/has been built up around the anxiety of law students. I don't know if it's more sad or funny.

Very true. I got a facebook, but I don't do most of the crap you can do on it and what I do do is occasionally talk to people. Yeah thats not a lot.

i hope facebook ends up like myspace soon. I never check mine at all, and I actually post something maybe once a month, which always has a point, or interesting. All comments and messages go straight to my phone in a text message and i can respond to them in a text message as well, so i never have to actually log into this aweful site and read peoples boring, pointless posts about the unintersting things they did today.

@dwkazzie Yeah, most of the people I know in NYC are lawyers, so I sent it to all of them and put it on FB. I put this one up there too. Someone sent me the first one when it only had 3,000-something hits. I figured that had to be an anomaly, that it must have just gone up, considering how obviously classic it was. I was very curious to see if it would blow up quickly, like I suspected it would. It's really interesting to see something go viral. Rarely happens. You usually see it after.

It took much convincing on the part of some good friends for me to create a FB account before I relocated 3000 miles away. In hindsight it was one of the best decisions I made.

i have faceboook but i kind of find it stupid as well, but i am a teenager, so i still go to school. and if you are not at facebook, it is as if you would not belong to school. every news are posted on facebook, if you are not on facebook, you don't know anything about what's going on.
@cupcakes7058 That's actually kind of stupid. They should make it instant instead of making you wait two weeks. If you don't know that you have to wait, you may frequently check to see if your account is gone yet. But if you go onto FaceBook to even check, it won't delete it. It's just a stupid scam to make you get on FaceBook more.

This one is great! The other one was legendary and will be like Paper Chase or 1L. So this one wasn't as good as the other one, but that's because only a few things a year are. Please keep it up. How about...hipsters?
They let you deactivate your account. I did over 1.5 years ago after being on it since '04. Outside of undergrad, it's a waste of time. People who just meet me do not need to friend me on facebook to read about things I can't explain in person, such as the fact that I like to sleep with other men and date men romantically as a man. My family doesn't need to see new people in my life or exiting my life. Fuck facebook.

(Continued) The moral of the story: Stop acting as if Facebook was a primary source of your problems. Instead, look within yourselves and see if you had something to do with it in the first place. Here's another clue: There's this thing called "time-management"skills, it's not as hard as it sounds. I STRONGLY suggest you try that, otherwise, I'll just chalk this up to people finding something to whine about just for the sake of whining.

I used to be addicted to facebook, but now it makes me sick. I want to punch half of my facebook "friends" after reading the superfluous things they post. It seems that all facebook is good for now is for connecting with old friends without actually putting in the effort to call them up or email them or for posting pictures of yourself looking semi-attractive at parties to overcompensate for your insecurities. Maybe this is just my depression talking lol
