Not only that but they also ended up censoring the whole developing staff working in that game, making the work enviroment in the studio, plain hell of walking in eggshells. She's the one who rewrote the whole TLOU2 story and characters to pander to her political m|s4ndr|c whishes. Then, TLOU2 instead of being a sequel, turned out to be a political statement, an attempt to lgdbtvc brainwash gamers, and Neil Drunkman like a dumbarse-lacking critical thought-testiculess guy he is, he allowed such stupidity. After 3 years of its release, the Playstation store still has The Last of Us part 2 selling for 40£$€ - meanwhile, 2nd hand stores have it at 10£$€ and no buys it, not even for free.
Mary Jane in Spider Man 2 was so obviously less feminine than in the first one. Same thing with Aloy in Horizon. The second one took Aloys curves away and made her face much less attractive. These are both characters who were NEVER overly sexualized to begin with. Just completely crazy they felt the need to do that.

I bet one other big reason why people don't like TLOU2 is that it's not believable. In a post-apocalyptic sci-fi, there are going to be exactly zero trans characters. Nobody will have time to be trans. No gender advisors, no ideological psychologists, no transgender clinics, no hormone therapy, no surgery. In a world where most people would have died and where the civilisation fell, no way there would be any possibility to "affirm" gender disphoria. And in a world where most people turned into freaking zombies and everyone tries to kill you, where food and shelter are scarce resources, no way anyone would even have the comfort to have thoughts about transitioning into the other gender.

Even on artstation, where reders of TLOU2 characters were shared by naughty dog's artists, any negative comments about how fugly they made them were met with "don't say that, you might get blacklisted in gamedev" replies by artists in the industry. It must be miserable to work for these companies, I urge any artist working there either to leave or to sabotage the shit out of their "products for modern audience".

So: - any "body type" can be a woman... - anyone with or without womanly curves can be a woman - anyone wearing makeup or not can be a woman - anyone wearing clothes traditionally considered women's clothes or not can be a woman - anyone drinking a particular drink or not can be a woman - anyone working any job traditionally held by a specific gender (male or female) can be a woman The list goes on. This is just part of the movement to erase women.

For what I can recall, Abby’s body is based off of a real female bodybuilder which would be funny considering how unnatural modern day body building is, someone built like Tifa would be way more naturally occurring than someone like Abby.

They ruined Ellie in 2. She's miserable and unlikable, and that makes her relationship with Dina feel fake. Then having her lose her fingers, lose Dina, and not get revenge adds a miserable anti climatic ending to her story. Druckmann should be a Spider-Man writer with this level of character torture.

I've rejected this so much that I almost never go looking for modern western games, movies, series, etc. I've been playing my backlog and replaying past favorites, watch old movies/series I never got around to in the past, and catching up on my backlog of anime. Modern indie comics are about the only new entertainment I buy. I am done with the BS.
Lev in TLOU2 being trans didn't make much sense to me. They left their community because they didn't like the rules of it, which is fair and makes sense, but lev also wanted to be just like her sister. So, why should that be the motivator for Lev to become trans? They are already leaving the community to flee from lev's possible future, The only real motivator to leave, so why would Lev feel incentivized to also change gender? They never said they didn't like being a woman as a whole, just the situation they were forced into with marrying an old dude. doesn't feel like a good reason, to me. Especially when their sister is still a female and wanted to be like her. Idk, I couldn't imagine it would feel really valid to say "well, I just want to be a female today because I feel like Women have better privilege's in todays modern society." I didn't like part 2 because the town sent two 90 lbs girls to find two men who survived the worst of the worst and instead of looking for him, they decided to stick their fingers in each other. Plus, how Tommy just blurts out their names to complete strangers. Terrible writing.
I'm part of the game industry and working for a big AAA studio, and I can say that all that these anonymous devs are telling you the truth. As soon as it comes from DEI stuff, we do have to bite our tongues otherwise it could have very harsh consequences... It's a sad reality to live when you see something that passion you getting disrespect in that way.

In that case, I have seen instances were people in power could add weight to the balance to pass the person for a certain promotion that they would clearly deserve, making work (for lack of a better word) hell for that person until they leave on their own or if enough people complains they can get fired. So the only real hope, the devs have is from the community. With videos like this make people aware of what is going on and then use your wallet to send a message to the people sitting at the top of the pyramid.
I remember this article. I also remember that a tester in uncharted 4 was fired when he criticized the scene where Nadine fights Natan and his brother and beats the crap of them. My favourite gay character is from the book "Kings of the Wyld." Where the party's wizard is gay, it's mentioned a few times but only ever in reference to his goals, his husband died to a disease and he dedicated his life to finding a cure for it. The author basically took a trope that usually has a wife in it and made the spouse the same gender but he also made sure that this character was NOT defined by his homosexuality.
If you grew up with action movies in the 80s and 90s, you'd be familiar with Death Wish and Rambo, possibly Deadly Prey. LOU2 story is just a pretentious and horribly done clone of those.
Making characters deliberately ugly is a fundamental misunderstanding of how people actually look. It doesn’t normalize anything except for a skewed and unrealistic view of how real life actually works. People like to look at attractive things for a fucking reason.

I wonder at which point, real women will be forced to get smaller breasts in RL, because it offenses some of these people. If a game character based on a real man/woman I think they want to be recognized in the same way an actor/actress in a movie wants to be. ENDYMION, I like the new YT banner. One tiny thing that bugs me is the text just getting a little muddy. Try adding a subtle rim light glint from an angle to the lettering. Just a touch on the rims. It will make the lettering pop really nicely.
If there was a real life zombie apocalypse, everyone would be a lot less attractive than they are now. But games are fantasy and not real life, no one would play a game about getting up every morning and going to work everyday. I’d already have the coffee consumption achievement on that game for sure.
and guess why Eastern games a more enticing than any games from the West, its because of this mindset. While we are on the topic of this guess also why Spiderman 2 wasnt as good as the 1st game, same reason they wanted characters to look real and made Peter a total wimp. TLOUS Part 2 has such a huge problem that is ignored by most Abby supporters. Every single life taken by Ellie and Dinah (and Tommy) after Joel's death is on Abby. If Abby hadn't killed Joel, there would not have been a revenge tour that led to all those "wolves" being killed on Ellie's ( and co) warpath. All those deaths are on Abby and Abby alone. So basically, by giving in to her hate and her intense desire to kill Joel, she signed off on all the carnage that would follow. Anyone who doesn't understand that should have their head examined.

That was a way more measured opinion coming from you, as I'm used to. It's good that you take the time to really explain your position here. The anger over the manipulation by publishers and media companies, often leads to statements that harsher and more offensive than they have to be (and I include myself there as well, I've said or written things that were downright insulting, because I was so frigging frustrated) and this video for me goes a long way in being able to follow you and like your stuff without remorse, because that makes it clear that you aren't intolerant or trans- or homo-phobic, you genuinely only have a problem with the agenda behind the games you want to like. The one thing I am not so sure about is that we are really talking backlash from the Trans-community here, probably only a very loud and vocal minority that is part of the community and their simping supporters.
Can I iust offer to fix the Suicide Squad game with a single, simple concept: Put Batman in charge. He already had plans drafted to neutralize each and every justice league member if he had to, this is widely known...set the story up to have Batman recruit the help of the suicide squad in order to take down the corrupted JL. It'd further develop his and Harley's association, give her more urgency, and the decision to kill him at the end (if they wanted to keep his death in order to usher in a new era) into a calculated; somber; compelling farewell after a long journey building rapport.

This was a great video. I’m trans and am sick of hearing how we need to be appeased by representation in games. We don’t, I want games to go back to how it used to be where if people complained the industry just stuck 2 fingers up and said don’t play it then. The western devs could learn a lot from its Asian counterparts! Games like the last of us 2 are just a dumpster fire and prove how the woke ideology has no place in the gaming industry. I don’t understand why companies feel a need to pander to trans people when all legit trans people want is to just quietly fit in and live a normal comfortable life.
The really terrible part is when you consider the ideal for most trans people is when they look enough like whichever side they want to to pass and not be noticed as biologically being the opposite. There are such people who when given the option will just make pretty characters the way they want to look, and in a game nobody knows the difference. Making the characters ugly is actually more harmful to the group they're attempting to appease than anything else, along with being a bit insulting. Every person naturally likes pretty things, and taking visual beauty out of anything just guarantees most people in existence won't like it as much because pretty people are so inherently pleasant to look at, no matter who's looking at them. I like women myself, but I still prefer the look of a healthy and attractive man to that of a deformed man purposefully meant to be ugly. The ugly characters definitely has uses, with a lot of villains being that way, and some characters becoming ugly due to injury like real burn or mutilation victims but still being nice people and having to deal with how other people naturally react to their appearance. Dragonfable has a good example of this with a mage who was badly disfigured by a dragon attack and gets mistaken for an undead monster sometimes, but once you see more of him it becomes clear he's a bit of a doctor type and one of the better mage characters. Then there's still the equally realistic pattern of a character who looks very pretty but is actually very evil and horrible, which works well in some stories but is completely ruined if ugliness is the standard used. The idea of having anything in particular be a standard appearance pattern for characters is damaging no matter what in some way, but having pretty characters at minimum increases the chances of people at least liking that, and helps make a game more enjoyable for most people.

I bet one other big reason why people don't like TLOU2 is that it's not believable. In a post-apocalyptic sci-fi, there are going to be exactly zero trans characters. Nobody will have time to be trans. No gender advisors, no ideological psychologists, no transgender clinics, no hormone therapy, no surgery.
In a world where most people would have died and where the civilisation fell, no way there would be any possibility to "affirm" gender disphoria. And in a world where most people turned into freaking zombies and everyone tries to kill you, where food and shelter are scarce resources, no way anyone would even have the comfort to have thoughts about transitioning into the other gender.

They are already leaving the community to flee from lev's possible future, The only real motivator to leave, so why would Lev feel incentivized to also change gender? They never said they didn't like being a woman as a whole, just the situation they were forced into with marrying an old dude. doesn't feel like a good reason, to me. Idk, I couldn't imagine it would feel really valid to say "well, I just want to be a female today because I feel like Women have better privilege's in todays modern society."
Personally, I hate all the pandering to the literal less than 1% of the US population for trans, MUCH less if you look on a global scale and they always act like they want to be inclusive for a global audience since they always try to overcast black characters, and trying to reach them. Trans are also, by statistics, often really poor and unemployed, so a lot probably don't even buy the games, but just repost from twitter and get happy to see they are noticed.

I'm part of the game industry and working for a big AAA studio, and I can say that all that these anonymous devs are telling you the truth. As soon as it comes from DEI stuff, we do have to bite our tongues otherwise it could have very harsh consequences...

In that case, I have seen instances were people in power could add weight to the balance to pass the person for a certain promotion that they would clearly deserve, making work (for lack of a better word) hell for that person until they leave on their own or if enough people complains they can get fired.
So the only real hope, the devs have is from the community. With videos like this make people aware of what is going on and then use your wallet to send a message to the people sitting at the top of the pyramid.

Unlike the woke boardroom feminists, I ACTUALLY KNOW multiple people that fit into these categories of gamers they are trying to pander to. And guess what? Just like the rest of us, they enjoy real men like Joel Miller, Arthur Morgan, Leon Kennedy; and sexy women like Kitana, Bayonetta, and Catwoman (Arkham series).
My favourite gay character is from the book "Kings of the Wyld." Where the party's wizard is gay, it's mentioned a few times but only ever in reference to his goals, his husband died to a disease and he dedicated his life to finding a cure for it. The author basically took a trope that usually has a wife in it and made the spouse the same gender but he also made sure that this character was NOT defined by his homosexuality.
That's the way to do it.
If you grew up with action movies in the 80s and 90s, you'd be familiar with Death Wish and Rambo, possibly Deadly Prey. LOU2 story is just a pretentious and horribly done clone of those.
Making characters deliberately ugly is a fundamental misunderstanding of how people actually look. It doesn’t normalize anything except for a skewed and unrealistic view of how real life actually works. People like to look at attractive things for a fucking reason.
It's horrible, it looks like they simply added a woman's head on a man's body to the model. Probably the worst female design in the video game universe.
Glad I didn't buy a PS5 console, so much woke agenda politics on that console, Horizon 2, Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part 2. I'll pass on those games. Ugly women and less curvy women don't seel games. I don't want woke agenda politics in my games. If it's not appealing to me, I ain't purchasing it.

I wonder at which point, real women will be forced to get smaller breasts in RL, because it offenses some of these people. If a game character based on a real man/woman I think they want to be recognized in the same way an actor/actress in a movie wants to be. It is unbelievable how big the influence of a relative small group has, just because they are the loudest ones.
Take away Lev’s forced trans identity and her story won’t change for the worst. Enough reasons to be an outsider, right?

ENDYMION, I like the new YT banner. One tiny thing that bugs me is the text just getting a little muddy. Try adding a subtle rim light glint from an angle to the lettering. Just a touch on the rims. It will make the lettering pop really nicely.
If there was a real life zombie apocalypse, everyone would be a lot less attractive than they are now. But games are fantasy and not real life, no one would play a game about getting up every morning and going to work everyday. I’d already have the coffee consumption achievement on that game for sure.
and guess why Eastern games a more enticing than any games from the West, its because of this mindset. While we are on the topic of this guess also why Spiderman 2 wasnt as good as the 1st game, same reason they wanted characters to look real and made Peter a total wimp. Also Fable 4 doesnt look really enticing and you can guess why. Oh and while at it lets not forget that localizers are targeting Eastern games with their nonsense 'translations' where some completely misrepresent whats in the actual game.
Tolerance that needs to stop. No Gay, No trans in any of our intertaiment. Plain & simple.

DEI and ESG suck and suck majorly. Hearing that segment about Amazon just irks me. They make both good shows to balance the terrible ones, which they only made in the first place because they believe in the "cause". TLOUS Part 2 has such a huge problem that is ignored by most Abby supporters. Every single life taken by Ellie and Dinah (and Tommy) after Joel's death is on Abby. If Abby hadn't killed Joel, there would not have been a revenge tour that led to all those "wolves" being killed on Ellie's ( and co) warpath. All those deaths are on Abby and Abby alone. So basically, by giving in to her hate and her intense desire to kill Joel, she signed off on all the carnage that would follow. Anyone who doesn't understand that should have their head examined.

That was a way more measured opinion coming from you, as I'm used to. It's good that you take the time to really explain your position here. The anger over the manipulation by publishers and media companies, often leads to statements that harsher and more offensive than they have to be (and I include myself there as well, I've said or written things that were downright insulting, because I was so frigging frustrated) and this video for me goes a long way in being able to follow you and like your stuff without remorse, because that makes it clear that you aren't intolerant or trans- or homo-phobic, you genuinely only have a problem with the agenda behind the games you want to like.
The one thing I am not so sure about is that we are really talking backlash from the Trans-community here, probably only a very loud and vocal minority that is part of the community and their simping supporters.

Can I iust offer to fix the Suicide Squad game with a single, simple concept: Put Batman in charge. He already had plans drafted to neutralize each and every justice league member if he had to, this is widely known...set the story up to have Batman recruit the help of the suicide squad in order to take down the corrupted JL. It'd further develop his and Harley's association, give her more urgency, and the decision to kill him at the end (if they wanted to keep his death in order to usher in a new era) into a calculated; somber; compelling farewell after a long journey building rapport.

This was a great video. I’m trans and am sick of hearing how we need to be appeased by representation in games. We don’t, I want games to go back to how it used to be where if people complained the industry just stuck 2 fingers up and said don’t play it then. The western devs could learn a lot from its Asian counterparts! Games like the last of us 2 are just a dumpster fire and prove how the woke ideology has no place in the gaming industry. I don’t understand why companies feel a need to pander to trans people when all legit trans people want is to just quietly fit in and live a normal comfortable life.
Why do we care what trans people think?! How many of them really play video games?!

The really terrible part is when you consider the ideal for most trans people is when they look enough like whichever side they want to to pass and not be noticed as biologically being the opposite. There are such people who when given the option will just make pretty characters the way they want to look, and in a game nobody knows the difference. Making the characters ugly is actually more harmful to the group they're attempting to appease than anything else, along with being a bit insulting.
Every person naturally likes pretty things, and taking visual beauty out of anything just guarantees most people in existence won't like it as much because pretty people are so inherently pleasant to look at, no matter who's looking at them. I like women myself, but I still prefer the look of a healthy and attractive man to that of a deformed man purposefully meant to be ugly.
The ugly characters definitely has uses, with a lot of villains being that way, and some characters becoming ugly due to injury like real burn or mutilation victims but still being nice people and having to deal with how other people naturally react to their appearance. Dragonfable has a good example of this with a mage who was badly disfigured by a dragon attack and gets mistaken for an undead monster sometimes, but once you see more of him it becomes clear he's a bit of a doctor type and one of the better mage characters.
Then there's still the equally realistic pattern of a character who looks very pretty but is actually very evil and horrible, which works well in some stories but is completely ruined if ugliness is the standard used.
The idea of having anything in particular be a standard appearance pattern for characters is damaging no matter what in some way, but having pretty characters at minimum increases the chances of people at least liking that, and helps make a game more enjoyable for most people.
