    What a great breakfast! Good fuel for working out and a nice filling sandwich when you’re done. I’m in a huge depressive slump right now so I’m only sort of following WW, but I told hubs today we are following it! I’m thinking chicken BBQ flatbread pizza for dinner. Your salad looked awesome too! Keep up the amazing work!

    Had your overnight oats this week, just using regular old fashioned oats. I do need to increase my protein a bit, so will look for those oats. I generally use protein powder in my oats, and mix milk and water to cut down on points - I have not found it to change taste at all. I'm with Jody, I'm a white chocolate gal, but right now all I have is mini choc Lilly's. I've also discovered that I like a mandarin orange (cutie) in the oats - putting it in when I eat, not before. Making salads this week for lunch too - when the weather gets warmer, that's what I want. Have some Boar's Head no salt added turkey breast as my protein. I'm off WW due to very reduced sodium intake, but they were good about it. Sodium and protein is mainly what I count, although I try to keep calories under 1500 - losing 1 - 3 pounds a week, which I'm very good with! Have a great week friend!!

      Ohhhh, I LOVE those little mandarins that Aldi has. I need to try those in my oats! I bet they'd be good cut up in yogurt too! Thanks so much for the idea! Yeah, I wish WW took sodium into account. I like to get the Home Chef meals occasionally, but those are loaded with sodium too. I usually try to back off on some of the seasonings they send. Definitely better than the days I used to run through a drive-thru though! ;) Sound like you are doing amazing and found what works for you! Good for you!! 🥰🥰

      I was just making regular scrambled eggs, but it sat in the pan a little too long so I just kind of folded it over and it worked out perfect! :)

    Hi I’m new to ww and just found you, Enjoying your content. I’m confused on the weeklies, hoping you can help as I get 23 points daily and 28 weeklies.!How does a person lose weight if going over points with weeklies ? I Dont think I’m understanding weeklies!? Sorry!

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  23 години тому

      Hi there! The weeklies are included as an allotment so you can use them all in a day or spread out or not at all. It really just depends on how many zero point foods you eat too. But generally speaking, if people ONLY ate 23 points and no weeklies, chances are they may nor be getting enough calories and nutrients. I usually eat between half and all of my weeklies, but I don't eat the added points given for exercise. I have that option turned off. Hope that's helpful. And welcome!! 😊

    I used to drink three or four big mugs of coffee a day but now with my water intake I can't even drink a full mug in the morning. I do drink a cup of decaf in the evening if I'm having a sweet treat.

      Isn't it crazy?? I used to drink like 4 Diet Cokes a day years back. I maybe have one a month now, just if I have a big craving for it. I bet you've noticed a difference with less caffeine too!

    The ranch dressing does taste like ranch dressing but I can't get it thin enough it's too thick for me!

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  2 місяці тому +1

      Hmmm...I wonder if you could water it down a little without changing the flavor. I may have to play around with that.

      @@PlanningUsHealthy Please let me know. I've used unsweetened almond milk and it doesn't make it less thick, I'm not sure what else to use. Please advise, thanks!

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  2 місяці тому +1

      @lynneholden6216 I tried it today. I let it sit a little bit after taking it out of fridge. Then I just stirred in a little water until desired consistency. It did take away a little bit of the flavor, but not much honestly.

    Your food looked really good, but that dinner meal is loaded with 780 milligrams of sodium for just one serving.....WOW!! I always wondered why WW never accounted for that.

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  2 місяці тому +1

      Unfortunately anything packaged like that usually has a lot of sodium. That's exactly what I mean when I say everything in moderation. You could definitely make something like this more homemade for much less sodium, but this was a night I needed something quick. You're right though - I don't think WW accounts for sodium.

    • @Lildevil49706
      @Lildevil49706 2 місяці тому +3

      They don't seem to put that into account...however the rest of Kristi's day seemed very low in sodium...so it is easy to have somethin like this & it balances out...plus enough water will also help balance this.

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  2 місяці тому +2

      @Lildevil49706 Agreed! And water is definitely one thing I get a lot of! 😊
