- Guys this is my first time playing Mario Kart 8 online. I am not a big fan of online gaming in many cases but I had to finally try Mario Kart 8 online. Hey thanks, I totally overlooked the stats with each cart part and have been playing with carts I think look cool instead. Will pay more attention next time, going to play some later tonight
@@NTCertifiedthere’s an important hidden stat called mini turbo, the combo they recommended is good for it
@@NTCertified I knew you probably did something like that but in MK8 online having a good combo is really important, now it won't seem necessary because it's a bit easier than higher levels, if you prefer you should try combos that are good but good looking too

You will know these basic soon, but I want to tell you if you dont mind. you dont need to read this. without these, you cant win in this game.
9:10 9:28 11:13 13:27 13:35 14:07 14:21 you need to keep banana and red and green shell behind you with L button. keep pushing L button you can keep putting them on your butt. they will protect attack from behind such as red shell. when you want to throw them just release L button. you can throw them behind ↓ + L (or release L)
10:07 11:24 keep 3 bananas 3 green and red shells until you want to dispose them to get new items, they are good protection. when red shell chases you, push X button and watch behind, and throw banana or shell behind and block red shell at the right time. because red shell sometimes come throw between 3 bananas and shells.
6th to 12th get good items, so you can change to new items, but when you are 1st to 5th, its often better to keep 3 bananas and shells for protection.
green shell and fireball shouldnt throw toward front unless you really need to. They hit the wall and bounce back, so throw them backwards when throwing them away.

I didn't join Nintendo Online for a long time, so before I played Mario Kart online for the first time, I did time attacks and played against computer opponents.
watching shortcut videos with mashromm and star and time attack of world record and online play of good players helps to improve.
I got all the trophies and I got golden machine, golden tire and golden kite, still online game is a lot harder than playing against computer.
I am original Mario Kart generation, I used to play original Mario Kart a lot when I was kid, and I bought Mario Kart 8DX for my nephew and I got hooked. I played only original and 8dx.
original and 8dx control are so different. didnt even know there is a turbo in 8dx at first.
