With so many anglers who choose to fish the well stocked commercials and have easy access to fish pristine platform swims, with WiFi and a cafe on site. It leaves these pristine little water ways for us who like the wilder side of fishing to get our sport😊🐟🎣. I'm not suprised that the fish in that Brook grow so well. The water is is obviously very clean and oxygenated from the weir and I bet it is full of shrimps and other aquatic insects the fish love to eat, not to mention all the bugs, insects and seeds that fall in from the over hanging trees and bushes. An idyllic place and your excellent film work really showed in all its beauty. 👍😊👍
I love this type of fishing you do. It takes you back to being kids and just having fun catching fish from hidden places in the wild. The carp was a beautiful bonus too. Simply brilliant video.☺👍
One of my favorite fishing channels on UA-cam. I live about 5 hours from Dale Hollow lake where I just seen some videos of you fishing there. It’s a great fishery.
Hey guys, I just finished watching this video and absolutely loved it! Can you guys go back to this creek again and go micro fishing again? I would definitely enjoy another micro fishing video! 😃👍🎣
That is an absolutely beautiful carp. Good looking body. Looks like there are sufficient supplies of food. Nice looking fins. The water seems to be of decent quality. Very cool catch.
what a great surprise! ultra light fishing is always fun. big shout-out from germany. came to your channel because of the videos with viktor and his channel "ich geh angeln". you guys are doing an amazing job. enjoy your time across the big pond
🤣 amazing what a great carp from such a small stream. love having a day on the stream fishing for small species and I will never get bored of it , it takes me back to my youth. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
I know this is an older video guys but what a magical little place and that linear mirror carp was stunning and absolutely emulate condition, I really enjoyed that video I used to fish little places like that when I was living in Hampshire/ Surrey great fun! 🎣👍
Been binge watching these on furlough 👌🏻 class lads I'm predominantly a game angler being Scottish quite fancy getting into coarse though looks like fun 🎣🎣
I have to admit as much as I love your channel and the content use bring us I have to say I'd love to watch more micro fishing videos as this was my favourite video so far as I like little rivers like this myself as I have so many great memories as a little boy fishing on hounslow heath with my brother and a place just over the road from it called donkey woods anyways thanks again for making these videos I really hope use can keep it going for many years to come
Really enjoyable video! We fished for the first time on our holiday to the Norfolk Broads earlier this year, never caught anything more than a few inches but we had fun
That was awesome and yet more motivation for us all to get a rod out at every oppotunity even in a bit of water that's barely 1m wide! Just brilliant :)
Great video! I'm 84 and this reminds me of my childhood fishing on the upper Coln round Colney Heath in Hertfordshire. Now I do just the same here in New Zealand but with large brown trout as the target a perch as a bonus if I am lucky. Power to your elbow!
Thanks so much Tony. Glad you enjoyed it :) really lovely to hear that it brought back fond memories. Love the excitement of small streams. This type of fishing is just pure and simple joy isn't it. NZ sounds amazing... it's definitely on the list for the trout! All the best to you.
New Zealand is not just trout. In the Christchurch area we have some very interesting fishing, Perch to 6 lb plus and long fin eels that rival Wels Catfish my PB is 27.5 lb so when covid is done and dusted and you come down under bring your travel; pike rod and a good feeder rod for the perch and maybe a tench or two. Cheers and tight lines.
Thanks mate, we certainly worked hard at it. These days I put more effort into my actual fishing and ideas for films, which gets more views and stuff - but the artform of videography still means a lot to me!
Great video guys. I love fishing small creeks and streams with ultra light spinning rods and ultra light fly rods. Its amazing what you can pull out. I've landed fish from dinky chubs to a 14 inch chub, even a 2 lb 4 oz small mouth. Cheers from the states, keep on fishing.
Some of those Fenland drains that you can jump across hold some good fish too if you know where the good spots are... I've seen footage in the past of double figure Pike, 5lb plus chub and big perch from some really narrow Fenland drainage channels. Bigger fish from smaller waters is very good entertainment. Great video Lads.
I often fish this way for a bit of fun, drop shot rod with 4lb line and a 1000 series shimano reel. Last time i went i had a nice 2lb perch on a lobworm caught from a small hole just a foot from where I was standing! It really is a fun way to fish and explore small waters :) I'd recommend taking a landing net with you as you never know what you'll find in the smallest of waters....
Hey man just found your channel. This girl is gonna sub :D I always catch roach here in the Netherlands. I live near a polluted pond. People Thor all kinds of stuff in there. (Shoppingcart desks and even chairs) but none the less the biosystem in there is great. Carps roaches bass and even koi! I wish you guys the best of luck and I love his video!
Awesome video guys. Reminded me of a small stream near me, I might go down tomorrow and have a look. Had roach to over 1 1/2lb about a year ago and I’ve forgotten about it till now. Cheers chaps.
That actually looks really fun! The way that rod bent with that carp I thought u weren't gonna land it! Especially with 3lb line! Great going tho bro might have 2 give some micro fishing a go myself!😊👍
How did this slip under my radar?! I thought I'd seen all of your videos, glad I found it though. That is how I fish my local river but I prefer to opt for the stick float.
I highly recommend you getting one off those 1 meter telescopic whips, you can get them for as little as £1 yep £1. I had great fun catching a 10lb common on mine, using 1.75lb hook length straight through, targeting the roach perch and skimmers beneath my peg. I had to hang on for dear life...great fun.
That was a gorgeous mirror carp. You should come to the 🇺🇸. We have carp in bunches over here. So many that when I'm catfishing i have had carp take my bait on a 2/0 to 3/0 circle hook. Which is a huge hook for a carp. I personally love catching carp almost as much as big American catfish. Awesome video mate's.
It's just traditional to watch this every now and then
Very true seen this about 5 times
Yeah I have many times lol never gets old!
I watch this about 8 times now 😂
Always makes me want to go fishing
Your not wrong mate
Beautiful little carp that no commercial mouth damage and a lovely scale pattern. Well done mate 👍
John Rambo where is that?
Same in nz have to kill them, have huge ones too
No matter how many years go by this is still my favourite Carl n Alex video :)
❤
you've inspired me to get back on the bank again , catching carp is great! Keep the videos coming
Good to hear that mate!
I am more of a lake angler and I love carp too
Carp from puddle. Blimey!
Pretty mad. We were really surprised!
Your guys videos are absolutely amazing. You are my inspiration. Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed your EPIC video, inspired to hit some small streams in the new season

You two could catch fish in an empty bucket. With no bucket!!
+cottrell2909 ahaha thanks 😂
True
So true
Hahahaha
With no bucket and no water
I love this type of fishing you do. It takes you back to being kids and just having fun catching fish from hidden places in the wild. The carp was a beautiful bonus too. Simply brilliant video.☺👍
I honestly can say I've watched all your videos and the evolution from vlog to film is insane ! Hats off to you for this content 👏 and this channel 👏

Brilliant videos lads I bet you'll remember that fish just as much as the big ones you've caught
One of my most loved styles/places for fishing.
Nice to see that someone else has the like for this :).
Tight Lines
+John Panter sometimes you've got to scale down and appreciate the little things :)
I love little streams like this, you just never know what's in there. Excellent production quality - top work guys

Cheers Rob :) Appreciate it man!
Looks like the best days fun!
Great vid man! Gorgeous locations and camera work
Thank you!!
Love fishing and not expecting what you’re going to catch
More of this please 👍 I love to fish tiny streams just like this
I wouldn't even expect there to be any fish in that stream, much less a fish like that last carp. That's amazing.
I have to admit as much as I love your channel and the content use bring us I have to say I'd love to watch more micro fishing videos as this was my favourite video so far as I like little rivers like this myself as I have so many great memories as a little boy fishing on hounslow heath with my brother and a place just over the road from it called donkey woods anyways thanks again for making these videos I really hope use can keep it going for many years to come
Brilliant video lads, I would have been happy with all you caught, but that carp was a huge surprise, well done landing it 😮
Really enjoyable video! We fished for the first time on our holiday to the Norfolk Broads earlier this year, never caught anything more than a few inches but we had fun
Beautiful country side. Water is so nice and looks untouched. I see why you visit that place.
Sooooo relaxing, thank you
Alex nurtured that carp in like a baby what a dude no landing net you boys never seem to disappoint loving this channel
❤
Great vid!! Love the variety.
That was awesome and yet more motivation for us all to get a rod out at every oppotunity even in a bit of water that's barely 1m wide! Just brilliant :)
I just love fishing in tiny rivers, streams, and lakes

This was the first video I watched on your canal, I was impressed.
Cool! Thanks!
Thats INSANE guys lol. Thanks for taking us along...AWESOME video as always...atb Dixie
I'm allways micro fishing evry weekend
I agree. sometimes size does not matter, a fish on is a fish on! I quickly catch a bait fish with micro hook, and then go after the lunkers.
Great end of the day fish.. Awesome job 👍😉💜✝️
Just stumbled across this. How good is this vid
Hi mate, just found your channel and it’s awesome bro. Got me into fishing now ahah
Brilliant as always lads
You know what, the original C&A cinematography had some uniq style to it. This is very well shot, I can appreciate the effort of camera work.
Thanks mate, we certainly worked hard at it. These days I put more effort into my actual fishing and ideas for films, which gets more views and stuff - but the artform of videography still means a lot to me!
Love this I used to have a carp rod out then have a pole with me for some constant action. Had a couple of double figure carp on the pole!

Thank you! :)
That was a gorgeous mirror carp. You should come to the 🇺🇸. We have carp in bunches over here. So many that when I'm catfishing i have had carp take my bait on a 2/0 to 3/0 circle hook. Thanks for watching, we love America, and have visited a few times. The videos are on our channel. Some HUGE carp in the states! :)
More like minis, these are enormous compared to ExtremePhillyFishing's catches. Haha. Love the video, man. Keep slayin em
those spots were beautiful wish i was there
That was a lovely little carp, I'm going to try the river in my village I think, similar size
🤣🤣 that’s bonkers, I bet it’s never seen a hook to. Awesome 👌
You are probably right! Ive never seen anyone fishing in the stream before!!
