@fishseabass, completely agree with you mate. Good to see. Bite alarms are for lazy fishers, the excitement is in the watching float or rod. Competition fishing when sleeping fair enough bite alarm required. But I've always preferred falling asleep at night and my mind just sees a float on water as I've been staring all day.
Yes! When I fished in Lincolnshire I had the biggest chub and perch from rivers and drains I could almost step across. No clubs ran them so the fishing was free and loads of fun finding random little spots. Keep it up lads, your presentation is outstanding!

Last weekend he sat there with me all day, we tried all sorts bit not even a bite. then all of a sudden his float disappeared , he struck into it it and his clutch started screaming. He lost a 20lb plus carp so close to the net after a very long fight on 4lb line. He was so close to crying reminded me of when i was a kid and fishing was magical. Guys when I went float fishing in the summer I caught lodes of big perch and at the end of the day as I was reeling in my last perch I thought it had got me into a snag and then I pulled and it started moving and it turned out to be a at least 15 pound pike that didn't know it was hooked 😂🎣 crazy

Growing up in Lincoln I can relate to this sort of fishing. So many tiny flood relief drains less than a rodlenght across that contained huge Roach and monsterous Pike. A 20lb plus was very common, and no one else ever seemed to bother with them, 🤟
Great video, I was a fisherman ( boy ) from the age of 6 fishing local ponds near Croydon later in life I lived in Newport Pagnell and fished many small river and streams wandering the banks with little tackle best time of fishing for me. I now live in Thailand 15 years fishing here is in stocked lakes the smallest hocks seemed to be a 2 line 20 lb. Needless to say, i haven't put a line in the water for 15 years, sad really. I do miss the small rivers and streams. Yours is the best fishing video I have watched except Jack Hargreaves ;-) You are a real fisherman good luck.

Thanks for the vids boys I have just subscribed. I have seen a couple of your vids and would like to say that I think that you have a great balance and a gift for editing that most other fail miserably at.
Couple that to your natural enthusiasm for fishing and you have your recipe for angling video success.
There are very few videos on you tube that have really smooth natural editing and solid camera work and you boys are up there with the best of luck for the future.
Thanks for the sub! Really kind comment too, cheers!
Growing up in Lincoln I can relate to this sort of fishing. So many tiny flood relief drains less than a rodlenght across that contained huge Roach and monsterous Pike.
A 20lb plus was very common, and no one else ever seemed to bother with them, 🤟
Oh yes, that's a quality video. Was already fun but that pike at the end!?! Just perfect.
Haha thanks!!
Scene capturing was so beautiful👏
Thank you so much Denis!
Excellent, so informative. You have knowledge about fishing beyond your years 👍
Ah that's kind, thank you Peter :)
