Mate, how did you decan the tamiya primer??? Isn't it dangerous to decan the content of an aerosol spray bottle? Also, did you thin the tamiya xf 63 with only isoprophyl alcohol?
Anyways, nice build, love the abundance of pe parts on the stug👍😎

Well first you stab the bottle with a really sharp object.... nah dude, there’s no danger, you basically just spray it into a cup and put it in the airbrush. And yeah, all the Tamiya paints were thinned with isopropyl. Thank you! It was definitely a big pe project

@@TheScaleEngineer I meant, is it pure isoprophyl alcohol without anything else added to it?

    • @TheScaleEngineer

Yeah, it’s just 70% iso rubbing alcohol

Subscribed! ;) Love your work! Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "decanted Tamiya primer/hairspray"? I'm not a native English speaker so that expression kinda confuses me, sorry. ;)

Decanted means you spray the tamiya primer (usually through a straw) into a cup. You then let the primer sit in the cup until it stops bubbling. You can then thin it with thinner and spray it through an air brush.

@@bucknertarsney7674 Ah, I see, thanks a lot for an explanation.
