Tackling the 38(t) was a much smoother experience than I expected; and I'm REALLY hyped to paint more historic miniatures. Obviously, Hobbies Unlimited has a huge selection, so what would you recommend I work on next? (For the channel)

The finished model looks really good! As a suggestion, the M3 General Lee is a really interesting (or weird!) looking tank and would be a fun build. Apart from tanks, you could also consider maybe a half-track, like the US M3 or the German Hanomag.

    Praise:
The initial effect of the blue-washed gray was eye-catching, the result resembles an aged gunmetal of sorts.
Adding the light gray highlights was genius, the result was incredible.
Mud weathering was thorough and very realistic.
    Critiques:
All of the smooth idlers on these tanks have flat black tires around their circumferences - that was the edges of the wheels outside of the rivets. Running steel wheels on steel treads through all the debris these vehicles operated through would have quickly shortened the lifespans of the drive components. On the plus side, the generous mud spatter covered this up so the absence of the black for the tires is not noticeable.
The bright orange rust is more typical of bare steel exposed to standing moisture that then evaporates. Thermal rusting, like on the muffler of a lawnmower or the exhaust manifold of your car, tend to be a darker reddish brown shade. I DID see a photo, though, of a restored and operational 38(t) with brighter rust on either end of the muffler, so I can only guess it was exposed to sitting moisture.
The jerry cans mounted on the skirting could be one of several different colors depending on their intended use. I believe German gray was the common color for fuel use. The design of the container was quite ingenious, incorporating a number of practicality and safety features. Captured ones were prized by Allied troops. Today, you can get copies in metal or plastic and in just about any color, but none equal the safety and versatility of the originals. (There's a UA-cam video describing the jerry can design.)
    Overall:
Superior work, maybe even award winning
    Side note:
That gold colored locomotive in the display was an unpainted brass model. There was so much difference between the many models and variants of steam locomotives and rolling stock that about the only way to obtain accurate scale models was from limited run hand-crafted imported brass models. This used to be an issue with diesel locomotives and freight cars as well, but modern molding processes, microcircuitry, and cheap foreign labor now allow the production of super-detailed plastic diesel locomotives that are on a par with, or even superior to, brass models. 3D resin printing has also opened up a whole other realm of possibilities for modelers.

Painting a fully assembled model makes it more difficult, but you did a bang up job!!! I think your weathering and dry brushing came out excellent too!
BTW, if you think the Panzer 38T is cute compared to the bigger tanks, you should look at the M3 Stuart, a US light tank that's small like the 38t and was often used for scouting in Africa and Europe and for infantry support in the Pacific. In the 60'sthrough the late 80's there was a comic book called "Haunted Tank", about a Stuart tank crew that the commander (who's name was Jeb Stuart) saw and talked to the ghost of the Confederate general JEB Stuart, who would help them get out of sticky situations. Loved that comic book as a kid. (In the later releases they switched from a Stuart to other tanks. So if you find a 60's release, you'll see the Stuart tank)

I love your work. The Authentic Nazis are probably having apoplexy because you didn't use Ral 7021 Dark Grey but I think your color choices were genius... they turned out great. ( I confess I was worried for a second. ) In the end, all our work is an artistic choice. We can only get so close to what was real. And the more we know the better we get. You need to do decals next as that is a skill set you need to learn. So.. I'm ready for your next tank. Let's go ! Thanks for the fun.. and I learned something.. .

It looks OK as it is ,the thing about weathering is not to go to much over the top with it ,tanks are quite strong robust vehicles,,so a fine balance, between dust ,dirt, and mud but not over doing it with rust.

If you're looking for other ideas for tanks and the history they have and were involved with Sabaton (a history based heavy metal band) also has a channel called Sabaton History that explores some of how all these things came to be. "panzer" is the German word for "armor" which came from French in the middle ages word "pancier" and from Latin "pantex" both of which mean "breastplate" as in the armor of a legionaire or knight. But German being German its generalized so "Panzerpferd" mean an armored war horse like the knights rode to battle. In modern times that warhorse is the tank so tanks are panzers but panzer is not a kind of tank. The German for that is "Panzerkampfwagen" or PzKw. The PzKw series is part of a larger general group of army vehicles "Sonderkraftfahrzeug" Sd.Kfz meaning Special Purpose Motor Vehicle
Here is the 1930-45 lineage you are looking for
    "Panzer I" = Sonderkraftfahrzeug 101, a light scout tank
"Panzer II" = Sonderkraftfahrzeug 121, a light recon tank
"Panzer III" = Sonderkraftfahrzeug 141, a medium tank
"Panzer IV" = Sonderkraftfahrzeug 161, a medium tank
    "Panzer V" = Sonderkraftfahrzeug 171, a medium tank = Panther
"Panzer VI" = Sonderkraftfahrzeug 181 or 182, heavy tank = Tiger
though not part of the PzKw series the Panzer 38(t) Czecoslovak light tank was called Sonderkraftfahrzeug 138 in German Army procurement records. Notice "the rule" is each new tank type created a new decade number. Variants of the root type using the same chassis got sequential numbers in the same decade

Very nice job! The base painting with shading is rather inspirational, as I've done a few WW2 tanks, including a 1/48 scale of the 38(t).
Are the Citadel paints, especially the Shade line, transparent or translucent? It seems that the basic German grey primer underneath still comes thru. I tend to just use the standard German Gray by Vallejo or Tamiya.

@@HobbyNight My favorite is the Panzer IV. It was developed a lot by the Germans and there are many varieties, which Panzer IV. built on a chassis.

I dont like to do Comments like that but i think i need to.
I really think your videos and content in general are not bad not amazing for my taste but ok. The one thing that actually bothers me is the slight sexual shots you put in your videos an the sexual thumbnails. I wuld concentrate on your video quality and keeping your good content up.
