This mod replaces all the FFVI Sprites in the game.
Its been more than a year of making, but i change all the sprites with a new fresh art, many al based in Brave Exvius style, but adapted to the game.
This is just the first Version of the mod.
This mod exclusive for Final fantasy 6 steam Old ver and NOt pixel remaster
This video also Features SaneUi , a modded ui for old ver as well Artomnia which Opera Omnia style portraits .

Were there any guides you used? Did you just add the AltimaMod as a nonSteamApp?
@@DragonDreamVNY I did it on PC then transferred it to the deck. Have to have it installed on deck first prior to doing it.

Can still buy the old version through humble bundle as of June 23rd 2022. Don't no how much longer they'll have keys as it's been off the store for a long time so I'd act quick if you haven't already.

One thing that is bothering me, Terra should have green hair, since she is "one-of-a-kind girl" if you know what I mean, and her having a blond hair seems "bland"? not in a way I don't like her art style but she must stand out amongst the group, but this was my take if ever they remake six, A little bit of shadowing and details here and there this would be the perfect FF6 mod, Kudos to you guys.
the base mod uses the green hair terra as it should be :) maybe ill make video showcasing the actual base mod. this one is actually a mix of the alts of the mod.

it really depends on acero the main creator of the mod and the PR modding community.... technically im a part of it. Unpopular opinion but I prefer this game over the Pixel remaster of VI

I manged to make it work with FFVI Explore , but it doesn't look as good as you have it since it has additional bilinear effect on top of it due to low resolution in fullscreen , thoughts ?
try joining moogles and mod on discord. for more infomrtion on ffvi old ver. you can use either the full defilter via ips patch or the dfilter executable
i belive the ffvi_defitler.exe is bundled with atma and probably found on your game root.

@@faosparkNeo yeah , I saw those , the issue with FFVI Defilter is it works with the latest build of the game , the exe I have is dated 16/12/2015 which I think is the initial release
the Defilter gives error "Unmatched value 4 @ 193869 in exe!"
The game is no longer being sold on steam for me to get the latest build.

You can't....unfortunately. Squeenix wants you to buy the Pixel Remaster and that version sucks.
@veteran0121 I. Um..possibly procured the earlier steam version..um..in a way that didn't involve paying scalpers..

I love the idea and you did a good job making it look like some obscure Korean PC port from 2002... but these sprites don't match up with the other graphics. The sprites are too huge and it's like they are giants. Maybe if you had different sprite sets in battle and a smaller, less detailed set in the over world, that might mitigate the issue. Also, by making them bigger, the walking animation here just sucks. It is easier to get away with fewer frames with smaller sprites, but here they stick out and just move very awkwardly.
the sprites are were made by acero steel and is based of the brave exvius and is built on scale with all the iteration of the PSP sprites . Not a single game prior to FF8 was made to have human scale ALL were Chibis :)
All 255 files containing multiple frames were re drawn to have the brave exvius aesthetic . 40 of those have 42 frames, 70 of had atleast 8
dont know about in terms of walking animations all of the games in the psp ports and mobile ports has a limited number of frames .... its a restriction of Square and not by the modder. if you can create or do have a solution for the THEN BY ALL MEANS.... DO IT.
there is also this classic sprite set for this port of the game you can use that
Im not saying You have to like what ACERO did or what use contributors made ensuring compatibility . what im saying is at least respect the amount of work poured to this game version of the game that a selectively few only has.

oddly enough these sprites are the most requested to be ported on the pixel remasters.
@@faosparkNeo You are right, I don't have to comment, but when you post something you're going to get comments whether or not you find it relevant. I already commented positively on the style of the sprites, my issue is that they don't scale well against the over world and the animation looks more poor. You bring up the PSP version, but from what I can tell they use different sprites in the overworld vs battles which is what I had suggested. The overworld sprites in FF4 Psp are slightly smaller than these sprites, but not large enough to break the immersion for me.
To get a better depiction of scale and what I am referring to (and Korean reference), I would check out something like Rhapsody of Zephyr or War of Genesis 3. Those games have large animated sprites, but the world is also scaled better to accommodate them.
It's my opinion as you pointed out, and not everyone will feel the same way.

I would suffer to get a copy of Final Fantasy VI Steam port which is not the pixel remaster. I don't mind the sprites, but dang I would play this version.
(Wonder who made the Brave Exius Sprites for Strago, Relm, Umaro and Gogo. I recall they aren't in the game.

i have world reborn mod with few more mods working with cracked ff6 (not pixel remastered) can this mod work with that? although i'm very happy with my modded ff6, i would like to see how it looks with this...
if the base game you are using ffiv old ver as in the original found on steam you can simply download the mod in nexus mods and follow the instructions to install it www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy6/mods/12
Mod looks absolutely amazing but how does one even download this game these days? If steam still had it I'd buy it in a heartbeat for the sake of this mod.

Kefka's tower was always a 3 party dungeon and you can only USE 4 party members Per team but Cyan/Umaro even at lv 99 tend to be the ones I left out Umaro is crap due to can't be controller and Cyan only sucks besides his Sword techs even at lv 99 are just NOT worth it.
