SaneUi is a lot closer to the vanilla look of the game. its started off as a removal of many of the mobile visual cues of the base UI. it does not come stand alone though as the base game UI really is a bit of a pain to edit.

true They are not the same but in the same family of ghost trains that FF games feature. Doom train is clear nod and allusion to the phantom train of Vi much like in game lore... triple triad is from Orlan of ivalice on ff8. 8 and 6 share the most number of summons together when the gba version was released adding gilgamesh , cactuar, leviathan and diablos to the roster of summons . plus Squall was the loading sprite of FFVI on its FF anthology version .

@@faosparkNeo I don't like that they took that liberty to completely change his name. If space is an issue, they could have always just shortened the GF's name to Glasya, Labolas, G. Labolas, hell or even just call him Borras like the original SNES English translation of "Final Fantasy III" did!

Correct USE the INFINITE LOOP before the first Ultros battle to LV up ALL the way to LV 99 for Terra to use it BUT around lv 43 Firaga (Fire 3) itself is enough to kill Ultros instantly.

thats great . i share the same sentiment. but i have something to say and hear me out...They are RPGs and remain to be RPGs. excuse me for saying this but i prefer to remove the J on that acronym Because it removes the impact what Japanese devs contributed to the RPG genre and dominated the genre for long. Its NOT and will not be an Elevation or Celebration of them instead a Segregation of them. if a gown is made by someone form Finland its just a gown Sia's Pop records are just Pop records not Australian Pop songs. Linus Media Group produces Tech videos ... and not Candadian Tech videos All Marvel Movies are SuperHero Movies and not American Super Hero Movies. But when asians dominate something .. Anyway forgive me for being a bit passionate about the subject but i hope you understand that they did Localize these games in English just for them to be categorized away from what they wanted it to be.

@@faosparkNeo I have to say, I disagree completely. JRPG is widely use today and will continue to be until both of us are old men. Back then (early 90s) it was a useful term to differentiate the kind of RPG games that came from Japan, which were very different from western RPGs but were gradually increasing in popularity. FF 7 then released and opened the floodgates and for a long while determined what westerners expect from a JRPG. Western RPGs then borrowed ideas from JRPGs because gamers now wanted more of it. There was a dark period where JRPGs were seen by some in the west as stagnating and becoming repetitive, and unfortunately some western developers became derogatory about the JRPGs. Western RPGs were certainly more experimental with open world games like Skyrim defining the next trend in RPGs and JRPGs were seen as old fashioned. However, there has been a resurgence in popularity for JRPGs in recent years and a reclaiming of the word to be something distinct, positive and again, evolving. You don’t even have to develop a JRPG in Japan these days for it be termed a JRPG. Hell, even FF9 was developed in Hawaii. That’s a clear mark of its impact on the gaming community. Its something Japan can be very proud of that JRPGs is a common term that when someone hears it will call up expectations, in much the same way it would if someone mentioned a “Metroid-vania” or a “souls-like” . You also have CRPGs or Action RPGs, tactical RPGS, MMORPG etc. People disagree what these terms mean exactly, and certain games do not fit neatly in each category in much the same way as a JRPG, but it’s still a useful, positive term that shows how successful the genre has become. It’s far better to have these terms then to group everything as an RPG, or Action game, or simply a Shooter. These terms fail to show the distinct gameplay differences or historical and cultural background of a game within its genre. You only need to take a brief glance at many reviews, comments, articles today to see how it’s still a term in common use and widely seen as a distinct genre. And I look forward to seeing how JRPGs continue to find success.

BECAUSE thats was OBJECTIVE TO BEGIN WITH The success rpgs made in japan will always be LIMITED to term JAPANESE and will never be a PART of the group. The video should give a decent enough answer. This version allows modding for things still not possible to do on the Pixel Remaster (nor any other prior release). Namely that you can have higher resolution assets (tilesets, sprites the overworld, battle backgrounds, etc) that put it in the same league as the PSP versions of FF 1, 2 and 4. Plus unlike the PR, this release still has all of the GBA content and doesn't suffer from scrolling stutter. Nearly every single thing that made this version "objectively bad" has a fix now, particularly the quality of the sprites. The battle UI is the only real issue that remains, and even that has undergone major improvements. The unmodded version of the game isn't good, but mods can turn it into arguably the best version.

Because For me... para me... para sa kin... that is not the case plain and Simple. No other version of this game can offer what Old Ver can when in full molded state and a lot people who does not like it are not ready to see that. because its really impeccable. yes this version has criticisms but I still like it more than the PR version. I make mods for PR too... So is Gran who BTW made that Narshe Walk Scene. just above my response... we still go back this version... this version is not that good but that why modders exist and the result ? Look at the Material buddy ... just look at it.

Welp cant do much about the original background not this one was designed to be presented in a mobile game . It uses an flb animation compatible with earlier versions of HTML 5/ webgl animation. Animation libraries back when this was made didnit even exist.

@@faosparkNeo Ah, okay, i think it's that I have the video full screen. Last time Played this was on a much smaller screen than I have now. I've been using the hex edit trick to change aspect ratio since forever but struggled to get it to work for high resolutions.

@@faosparkNeo Alright, just looks a lot more glowy than I've seen before. I haven't really kept up on the latest mods, especially over the last year, It's definitely a lot more glowy than what I have installed which is mostly running September 2021 era mods.

It's the iOS port that used to be on Steam long ago but it got replaced by the Pixel Remaster. Unless you had the old version, or pirate it from somewhere, you're out of luck.
