    Very few tail tidy options for the T7 at the moment. Looks like B&B has done the best out of the bunch.
    Thank you for the video.

    Just did this to my, new to me klr. I can reuse the one factory bracket to move it up higher and that's it.
    It's amazing how much hardware is used to hold these brackets on.
    Doesn't mater what bike either. And they look so much better with out it, or just relocating stuff.
    Looks slick👌

      It seems to be a Japanese bike thing hey... don't recall seeing many Euro bikes with big daggy tail units 🤔 But yeah definitely a much cleaner look without all that crud. Cheers man

    Hey Josh, thanks for this Vid. Mounted the tail tidy yesterday without hassle. Spent a bit of time cutting and soldering the wires which has tidied up the whole under-seat area. What a great piece of kit - love the B&B stuff.
    One little hint for others. I used the number plate screws (screwed in loosely!!!) to lightly hold the indicator assembly in place with the number-plate section, which freed up my hands to get the 10mm bolts in correctly. Hope that makes sense, because it certainly made it easy!

    Just doing the same. Swapping out ridiculously large Canadian pumpkin signals for LEDs while I'm at it. Went with the tail tidy unit from our local guy @ Camel ADV. Check out his anti bobble head bars to steady out the dash & headlamp, they work a charm.

      Yeah sweet I like the high fender kit as well but what a pain in the ass to install. I don't mind the look of the low fender anyway but I guess after clogging it with mud a few times I'll get sick of that :)

    • @lessmore444
      @lessmore444 4 роки тому +1

      Ya, low fender suits me fine too. Keeps the rad much cleaner I'm guessing. Keeping the low boy adjusted up will take some serious gumbo to get it bunged.

      @@lessmore444 yeah we were out in some sticky shit on the weekend and no dramas (other than slipping all over the place haha), but still don't have knobbies on yet so that added profile might change things we'll see. I'm hoping she'll be right. But yeah definitely very little crap got onto the radiator guard, however the 390's was caked up the middle. It's low guard must be a bit too short on the back. Good job KTM 🙄

      @@MVDBRya these stock tires are definitely street boots. Getting used to this scoot while wearing them out will make it a whole new game when some proper traction finally gets mounted. Summer's just getting rolling up here, few months now till the proper west coast mud returns. (Followed by snow & ice!) Proper knobs by then for sure!

      @MVDBR  4 роки тому

  • @arruntus

    Scared I stayed for two things. The amount of pieces you had to remove and the amount of mud that had gotten into areas that were supposed to be covered by other plastics 😮😮
    A detail Josh, heat-shrink tube, for these cases of cables that may be exposed to water is a great idea and in case you do not have at that time and given that you had excess cable, instead of making the splice at the same position, the joints separated by 2 or 3 cm so that in case the tape is loose, which over time will certainly, not produce a short circuit.
    It looks much better than the original 😀

    • @MVDBR
      @MVDBR  4 роки тому

      Yeah, and that was from only one mud hole I went into! Haha. I am a professional wire taper mate don't worry about that hahaha but yeah hopefully I will have some heat shrink before I next take that guard off then I can fix up the wires :) Thanks for the comment!

    • @MVDBR
      @MVDBR  4 роки тому +1

      I'm not too sure Sean I'll have a look at the old light later on and get back to ya, but I'd say probably not or else B&B would have integrated it instead of supplying a different unit. They do supply some of those clip type wire connectors if you don't want to solder but yeah if you want to leave the original wiring intact I'm not sure what the options would be. Thanks for watching mate 🤟

    • @MVDBR
      @MVDBR  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah I don't see any reason you COULDN'T use the stock light, if you really wanted to but its such a big ugly dag of a thing. Holes have different spacing tho so drilling would be required, there's roughly 45mm between stock mount holes and about 75mm for the B&B unit 👍
