Thanks! I have this adjustable arm that holds my phone and has ring light attached to it. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Keep an eye out for “Part 2,” where I go over the results.
I have my old collection from the 90s. It's time to start sending in the ones that I know are worth my investment. What sleeves do you use? My cards are all in binders and I need to sleeve them for shipment when I get them graded. And what cards should we be buying now; I want to start collecting again.
Definitely send em in. You could be sitting on some gold. I use ultra pro penny sleeves & “graded card submission semi-rigid card holders.” Now’s a great time to start collecting again. The Scarlet & Violet 151 specialty set is the way to go. It’s the OG 151 from the 90s. I’m trying to collect a master set. It’ll probably end up being a great investment too! ;)
I sent in 40 cards. 7 are 8-9's. I sent them on purpose with the almost perfect 10 candidates. This is done so the grader will see the issues with the 8's-9's, and see the difference between the 10 camdidates. So hopefully the cards i want a 10 will get it, and maybe a few 8-9's can sneak through as 10's. Btw, did ypu use a microfiber to wipe any possible fingerprints? Some ppl will literally fully thumb up the card without using a microfiber and still get 10's. I slightly rub mine just in case.
Nice! 40 cards is a big haul! I sent my cards in with 10 of my friends. Some of them are vintage & definitely not 10s, so hopefully that helps. I didn’t use a microfiber cloth, but that’s a great suggestion. Good luck with your submission & keep a look out for “Part 2,” where I go over the results. ;)
Great strategy, I unknowingly did this as well, but the opposite happened. Sent in 4 cards, and my Paldea Karp had the tiniest little whitening on one corner and got a 10, the other 10 was a raging bolt sir and it was just as clean if not cleaner than the temp forces iron crown sir which got a 9. The 4th card was the 151 zard PSA 9 that was just the same condition as the karp. Threw me off, but I’m still happy!
1.25 speed is pretty good
Very cool Mat, great video very informative

Great video with tips and experiment! What kind of lighting do you use? The lighting in your videos is excellent. Keep up to good work 🙌

Charizard vstar looks a little left heavy, but others looks great. Will sub to see the results!
Thanks for the sub!
