For me some vintage really stand out while some are not same with modern, just preferences i guess.

I only collect vintage but only the lowerpop japanese ones. Like Shinings from Neo4 and Masaki Promos

Similar experience recently!! I do have a Blastoise Unlimited but think it’s worth about £30-50. The numbers for the Zard are staggering

Based on stats, Moonbreon is a Bubble
Vaporeon is a lot lower in jungle unlimited because it was in a theme deck.
I made a binder that could hold every wotc unlimited set up to neo 4 getting all the non holos has been the tedious part but have been able to get a mast to set it jungle and only missing 3 cards from neo genesis otherwise I have a long way to go😂

This is why I only collect unlimited, I never try to collect 1st edition anything because its 4x the price for the same card lol. IMO if you want to only collect 1st edition and have the money thats awesome, but I feel true fans of pokemon can look past the -investment- edition err 1st edition. Enjoying the cards for what they are
Modern full arts display better than wotc holos. Have both. Holos look common now
Modern will have absolutely no value in 20 years. Vintage will be at ATH
@@TP6669 only top 2 pulls from each set maybe! Vintage won't be re-printed that's the beauty and already have plenty of age, modern already printed to oblivion then they do random re-prints! another 20 years of age cintage be even crazier. Also they do have nostalgia, just feels different.
Modern full arts r sick but vintage is key. Im 34 i got pokemon blue in 99 no one who wasnt collecting cards then would understand how it felt having a base set charizard
