Thanks! Luckily my locals is really spacious on days where we have Pokemon events! Everyone else is pretty accommodating, too, when it comes to setting up the camera! Keen to do some top down game play if I get the chance!

Wasn't thst one of last year's best decks? Reminds me of how hard Miraidon fell off, from BDIF to borderline rogue deck.

I remember back when Arceus was one of the less interesting decks, given that everyone played it. But now, it seems like you really gave it a new (and better) name. Congrats on the victorious League Challenge run. Just remember, you deserve the win no matter what anyone else says about it.
Yeah, I wasn't playing when arc was in its prime, jumped on the band wagon a little late ahaha. The dileck does go crazy hard still!

Yeah, it was standard format.
@@Pokelotto_ there’s a tournament going on near me and it’s only f+ and I didn’t know if I could add switches from an older sword and shield set , I was also confused if I could add older cards that have a new reprint
@aces_-qi4pm you can use older trainer cards with the same name (eg, ultra balls, nest balls). Any other card has to be brilliant stars or newer.

so i am retiring from modern Yugioh after 15+ years so i can focus on my health mostly my weight loss quest and back issues i have opted to switch to Pokemon as it's a much less stressful game overall and cheaper for me as someone who is on disability anyway i have a question as i am still learning terms what does "prize mapping" mean
Dude! Good luck on your journey. Weight loss is a massive challenge!
Prize mapping is planning out what pokemon you will be knocking out during a game to win. For decks with mostly 2 Prize pokemon, throwing in a 1 prize pokemon is a good way to throw off someone's Prize map or you can use cards like prof turo or thorton to effect your opponent Prize map too!
Is that a misprint DTE?
I have 4 Prize Pack DTE in the deck.
I love rogue decks ❤️
They're way more fun than running the top decks in the format!
@@Pokelotto_ Exactly because you're only focusing on one huge attacker instead of focusing on 10 or more different Pokemons in one deck like the top tier decks in the format and you can set up quickly with rogue decks. I love simple deck builds and rogue builds because I don't have to think so much. I'm not saying that top tier decks are bad at all. You should always play with a deck that feels comfortable and not playing with a top tier deck because everybody else does ❤️.

Can you use any card from any set to make up a deck to compete or are some tournaments specific which cards you can use?
Only cards with regulation mark f,g,h are able to be used in standard format tournaments atm!

@@Pokelotto_ does that Include trainer cards too. Some of my old trainer cards don’t have any letters
@nicholaswang5294 if it doesn't have a letter, it can't be used. However, if there is a card with the exact same name in the current format, you can use all old artworks of that card (even if the text is worded differently on the effect).
@@Pokelotto_ Slight Correction, Unless there is an Errata for the cards Old Artworks can only be played if they have the Exact same wording, this is why Base Set Computer search couldn't be used when it was Reprinted in the First Ace Spec era.
Older copies of Pokemon catcher can be used because the card has an official errata
Someone help me out. At 15:10 Jake plays a Lumineon V even though Spiritomb is in play. I thought Fettered Misfortune would disable Lumineon's ability. What happened?

It was his first turn of the game. So you can use squawk, even if you're going 2nd.
You want to know who played a rogue deck? Me. I went to a city league with a wugtrio gyarados deck. Ranked 12/83.

Not for arceus specifically, but you use them with ogrepon.

All of our events are Bo3 haha! Maybe if we got 50+ players like in the US we would have Bo1!
@@Pokelotto_ challenges here in the US can be 5 - 20+ and still BO1
We also have very few stores here, so we only get 3 league challenges across the entire state each month. I'm not sure how that compares to an average state in the US.

It can only attack a second time after waiting a turn or being re-established into the active.

What is control?
Control is a type of deck that has unique win conditions controlling how your opponent plays the game.
Wait since when is Arceous a Rougue deck? Are we just calling anything that isnt Charizard rougue?
With how the meta is atm. Arceus is a 0.5% deck, so I'd say that's rather Rogue (especially this build).

The worst are probably the energies, at least the play promo ones from black and white!
