- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth introduces a new set of synergy moves that have your favorite characters like Cloud and Cait Sith attacking together. Here are all of them, warning spoilers at the end.

Synergy Abilities are new special attacks in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. By performing multiple ATB commands with multiple characters, you can gain enough synergy to link two party members together to do a powerful attack. In this video, you'll see Aerith, Cait Sith, Tifa, Yuffie, Barret, Red XIII, and Cloud, all working together.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second game in the latest Final Fantasy trilogy and releases on Feb 29 on PlayStation 5. It's a follow-up to Final Fantasy VII Remake. The series has been rebooted from the beloved 1997 Final Fantasy VII. - Ігри

I swear every single synergies with Barrett is screen worthy
Makes me not want to be efficient and switch to a different party member while they do their attack. I also like to keep it on Barret to watch his level 3 limit break, it looks divine.

I usually play Aerith and Barret and their attack are so cute together. I really like when he holding her hand 1:35 shows how gentle he can be. And another of their attack are very funny hahah.
I love how much he cares. The other male (human) party members are aloof, cocky and avoid showing emotion to much (which is fine and makes them unique each their own). You can see this in the Vincent, Cid and Cloud GS date for example. But Barret isn't like that and openly cares. They really did good by him.
0:09 I love how after Aerith Embiggens the Moogle (actual attack description), she ends up flinching and cowering with an "Oh God, what have I done?" pose.

I think my one criticism for the synergy attacks is the fact that Aerith doesn't get to keep the sun glasses she puts on with her attack with Barret. Would've loved if they let her keep them on until the fight is over.
I'll re-buy the game on PC if someone makes a mod that does this.
I'm surprised at how often Red is used as live ammunition for the attack itself.

They kinda hint at it during the JENOVA battle when cloud barret and tifa do their simultaneous attacks for 9999 damage
I'd agree if the game wasnt so stingy with ATB. Even my go-to comparison, Chrono Trigger, only had a few of those.

This games usage of hit stop and hit slow is breathtaking kinda like how ffxv handles slow mo’s
Aerith and Barrett with the shades my favorite animation.
Tifa's ability to be swinged around like a puppet and still sock enemies in the mean time is truly amazing.
They are literally all great.

This could have used a bit more of editing. It's hard to see which one was which without slowing the video down, it would have been benefited from having subtitles/title cards.

The dual refocus abilities are odd. Like they couldn't think of other synergy attacks for some character combinations
Maybe those are things that get expanded on in the future part 3
I'm sure they could but those refocus abilities are for different purposes and sometimes you just need more atb charges. Maybe they could've done it differently where they're not a part of the skill tree

Don`t like it don`t use it. It is just to get ATB if you prefer to use that in your situation.
I never use them, even if it could be good, cus synergy attacks are just more fun.
Well its important, Barret benefits directly from having 3 ATB, and Yuffie has an ability that requires 3 ATB.

How do I increase synergy gauge? Seems to happen at random.
You just need to spend the atb gauge to increase the synergy gauge
Specific ATB commands will proc it, check the icons to the left of the command description. Most weapon skills will do it.

You have to use atb weapon skills to get synergy gauge and when you get enough you can do one
I believe synergy skills also build it up too. I love that as it encourages you to use everyone in your party more so than remake

@mappybc6097 That's true.. I fixed mine, tho to be smoothless and studder-free. Having certain mods and following the studder free guide(s) on Steam. There are plenty of ways to work around it

Whats united refocus do?
Increases the ATB bar from 2 to 3 segments, allowing for more spamming of abilities, more powerful abilities, or simply combing abilities back to back that aren't normally possible. It was much more underwhelming in remake, so I'm glad they improved it here

@QuirkyBoy not just for spells but for every ability, spell or item use. If you play the demo for this or the first game you'll get it

He's not a party member. Even though he "joins" every dungeon afterwards Vincent constantly keeps running off to do his own thing. They're holding out on him for the next game along with Cid. Or more likely, he's going to have his own DLC sidestory like Yuffie did in part one set in the parts where he keeps running off.
The camera is kinda bad here that it's hard to tell what's going on. Which is weird because Square enix got it right in Kingdom Hearts 2.

Not to mention the amount of particle effects can disorient what you're looking at.

idk about these i dont really like the way those are animated and also the scenery and choreography seems pretty chaotic and not dynamic enough. I prefer the good old full fleshed animated ultimate attacks you had in most JRPGs. Just give em some impactful dynamic animations, modern rpgs are shifting so much away from the good old animated attacks thinking they can now just do everything in action rpg format it just doesnt have the same feel or impact to it. I much rather prefer Theurgy attacks from Persona 3 Reload or Showtime attacks in Persona 5 royal.

That train is long gone lil bro. Ever since ff11. The OG still exists and with mods, it's awesome. There's a fully voice acted mod too with decent VAs that even sound like the official ones
