Shes canonically SUPER STRONG but limit breaks amplify it massively. It's like a dbz zenkai for a moment or something. Lol
It was unbelievably funny having her supplex and later pick up and throw the wall boss in the Temple of the Ancients. That was such a funny and fond memory of mine.
Hitting all her slots and insta-kill the final Jenova fight by dunking it like a basketball is one of my favourite memories from the original FF7.
It’s oddly satisfying to see the original animations from 1997 back when I played the game on the psx and then seeing them in ultra realistic graphics almost 30 years later.
It really shows how humans can achieve so much in so little time.

I like timing Cloud and Tifa’s lvl3 limits together. Cloud makes the tornado and Tifa dives into it. It’s so cool.

God these Rebirth attacks just have so much power and WEIGHT behind them. Between that and the facial/overall animations, they absolutely killed it.
Yesh, forget just the visual aspect of it. Pressure and stagger sounds are so satisfying when everything connects. This is just a small part of why I will never sympathize with remake hate. This is a love letter to a game we all loved dearly but was restricted to the tech of its time. Everything for the most part looks and feels beautiful, along with a revitalized story so it doesn't feel like it's the exact same thing.
SPOILER WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T BEATEN THE GAME
Even Aerith's death still fucked with me heavily. The way Cloud's fractured mind couldn't straighten out what really happened had me feeling the exact same, like wait didn't we just save her?? And the coolest little detail I missed on my first play that my friend pointed out to me? The start of the Jenova fight where everyone enters the fight full of rage, limit gauges filled...but Cloud is lost and dazed, limit gauge empty. Fucking wow man.
@@ActualHumanMigzyeah, something to keep in mind is they clearly saved some of the Aerith death stuff for part 3. We're going to have to put Cloud back together and watch him experience the reality of what happened. I think that will hit hard and where we get the payoff of that scene.

@@ActualHumanMigz I feel once part 3 is out, a number of those complaints will basically be a wash. Because it's having to wait to get to the full bit that's making some people salty, so once that's no longer an issue, it'll be easier to accept for those players. Though some of them will never accept it, those are the types who could never be satisfied lol

I love Finishing Touch, but I'm sad we won't be getting Meteor Rain. Also, Tifa's moves for her Level 3 were so damn sweet. So cool.
I'm betting Meteorrain will be his final weapon skill in Part 3, all his other limit breaks are in other weapon skills.
Since Infinity's End is a grounded only 2 ATB, Meteorrain will probably be an aerial 2 ATB

Noticed a few people talking about tifas, and it is great, but comparison wise, planet protector got an extreme glow up.
All of hers are just buff based, which is conceptually limiting, but I love what they did with it.
I just wish that they gave us Great Gospel instead of Fury Brand. Considering that Aerith is dead now, we won't get to use it.

Hammerblow (Smackdown, Charging Uppercut or Point Blank) and Mindblow (Focused Shot) are weapon abilities too and underpowered for a Limit 4

They did such a great job recreating and adding onto what each one was based off of, here's to hoping everyone ends up with like at least 5 in part 3. Cant wait to see how Vincent's will work too, they could just use the forms for a big attack but controlling them would be sick

@@tab-xp8fb I'll be kinda shocked if they aren't but at the same time I could kinda get it since they'd basically need to make like, 2 or more atb moves per form for them to even be worth like, staying in compared to just having the range of guns and like 6 or more moves and synergy to work with, well I doubt he can synergy in the forms at least lol but they'll have to make the forms worth it if they are limiting, unless the forms are on triangle after limit and can freely revert back and forth
@@SSlash while being able to switch monster and human form sounds fun, it probably would be pretty broken in practice, lol. You could build ATB in his monster form and let you switch back to revive the party, and then camp if you wanted to. assuming they go with the pseudo-summon route, I think they could, A) let you switch between monster/human with a large cost to some sort of gauge, or B) let you revert to human but end the limit break outright
Barret's Satellite Beam would be more epic, if they showed a clip of the Orbit and and the Satellite Beam raining down from above onto the enemy. But all in all they did a great job!
I love to think Barret, somewhere, SOMEHOW got his own personal attack satellite to use whenever he gets to pissed off.

One correction for Barret. Fire in the Hole is meant to be Grenade Bomb (can target multiple enemies, even share the same japanese name). Big Shot is probably Focussed Shot

How do you get the different Limit Breaks? I've only ever had Dolphin Flurry and Howling Moon come up ones, and Planet's Protection only when fighting Sephiroth
Some Synergy Abilities can raise the level of your limit break.
Do one to raise to level 2, and a further one up reach level 3.
@@Strafio I found it out yesterday, I didn't grab much Synergy Abilities, I mainly grabbed stuff that kept me alive, and as you can get hurt when doing Synergy attacks, I didn't grab many
@@blazeneko3384 Synergy attacks are pretty useful (except the ones that give infinite magic imo because that is such a short buff). Increasing limit levels and extending stagger is pretty nice though.

How do u get more limit breaks furthest I got were the second ones
Level 8 folio unlocks. Then to use them you need to raise your limit level in combat with Synergy skills or there's an accessory that raises it by one.
Watching this reminds me that Dissidia Opera Omnia is now closed...I used to use Tifa to beat a lot of Shinryuu *sob*. Gonna miss her Follow Ups.
One of the best ST units for sure, they destroyed the game with the FR era, a lot people left the game for that weapon tier.

I stayed for a good while until a month or two before they announced the shut down, it got so boring constantly fighting boss sponges that could only be beaten with the FR gauge not to mention they took like a good 15-30 minutes to fight. I do miss the game though I hoped it would come to consoles eventually.
I'm damn curious to see how they'll adapt Vincent's Galian Beast in Part 3, after we've already seen him in action in Rebirth... it's impossible that beast is gonna fight next to us in the party.. Maybe it will appear as a summon usable as a character? Hmm...

Level three is in the skill tree, but you can level up your limit by doing synergy attacks with your team. Certain synergy attacks will give it, you have to look at the description.

Cait Sith’s powers are never fully explained, but according to Dirge of Cerberus’s Japanese guide, his creator has some sort of magic power that allowed him to give life to Cait Sith. Maybe he just imagined him having these mild reality warping powers, and so he has them.

He has two voices as revealed in the Cosmo Canyon segment of the game: an old man, and a younger one which is his "true" voice. This is based on something that was lost in translation from the japanese version of the original FF7, where he changed his speech pattern to reflect that mentally he was just a teenager putting up an act to appear more mature to the rest of the party.
Dub-wise its the same voice actor doing both, he just has that much range

How'd I beat the game with 100 hours and only saw 2 limit breaks for Cloud?
You need party level 8, but reaching those nodes gets very expensive. Level 3 limit is very much post game stuff since a lot of SP is in hard mode.
Tifa's level 3 doesn't make sense... isn't a flaming twisting dive kick stronger than a headbutt?
I hope Vincent has a different mechanic for his LB in part 3. His OG LBs are the worst among the cast

They gave barret his lvl 4 limit as his lvl 2 so in the next game what could they possibly give him that's more powerful.
Yuffie's limits are very different from OG but makes sense since her moves on OG are kind of generic
