This build is already extremely strong as is, but I’m curious what other players might’ve found that might even make this even better!
Speed Demon charm perhaps?
I did initially use the keychain until something better came later, but yep it does decently well in this build!
Wonder how effective it would be pairing this build with Aeriths synergy comet pairing build he mentioned while also having Aerith with the provoke materia.
So Aerith provokes the enemy drawing their attention and then everytime Yuffie uses an ability, Aerith has her Radiant ward up, taking 0 damage during her super long cast time? too risky perhaps?
I wouldn't recommend that just because she isn't at all bulky, for starters, so provoke is really helpful for specifically Barret and Red 13. Radiant Ward doesn't really give her that invincibility that the description provides, because outside of maybe the first couple of chapters, any attack that would give Aerith knockback would damage her like normal inside the ward. I'm by no means an expert at the game or even with Aerith, I felt obligated to share this because I've taken a bunch of L's with her because I had went in assuming she would be more "invincible" with that ward than she actually was.@@salatrin2198
@@salatrin2198 Provoke materia only activates when the hp of a team member go to critic state and dosnt work affect bosses so no really necesary for endgame content.
Yeah, Yuffie is the best character imo. She's crazy fast and can attack from anywhere. Absolutely OP.
Personally, I'm surprised the devs did not do more to balance her by making her a glass-cannon or something.
Unfortunately this is due to the general setup of overworld games. Attack speed/Movement speed almost always trumps in any form of dps setting.
So what do you think the best party should be with yuffie? Cloud Tifa? I feel like they are my go toos

I love Rebirth but that is definitely not the case at all. Apart from a few very specific examples like the one in this video, there are not nearly as many wacky and broken Materia combos as the original had.
@@paulj6805 Maybe I'm being ignorant but is that really the case? From the videos I've seen and the little experimenting I've done, you can make some busted combinations with Materia especially with Yuffie
@@xyrots You can definitely make some busted combos, but in the original you could make like... an infinite amount of busted combos. There is no equivalent to 7 Knight of the Round mimic combo, for example.

What really impresses me with this game is the seemingly endless ways you can build characters and synergy between them. So much depth, easy to learn, but difficult to master. Great game.

Yuffie is pretty OP. She's a brawler and ranged, has access to all elemental materias, builds ATB like a monster, and staggers effortlessly. She's insane
It's Yuffie's doppelganger that makes her OP. Use Mind blast with doppelganger does huge stagger damage to any enemy in the vicinity. Then you got her 3 ATB cost ability that does huge damage as well. GG.
Personally I use Doppelganger to double cast -aga spells.
It's like playing Aerith, but you don't have to stand in the ward, you don't spend double mana (clone's cast doesn't consume any), and she's waaayyy faster.

She was on the original but you had to do special stuff to get her on your team or you’ll miss out on her after you encounter her

You never got yuffie before the part you do in rebirth so it would make no sense to have her in remake. Having her as dlc was a pleasant surprise

Would nor bother this falls off hard in hard mode. Ok for open world but not great. This build is over rated
Long time ff fan. Relative to the souls games. Hard mode is not that difficult. Grind a few levels and do side quests. Personally, I'm going for 100% completion, so I'm doing every little thing. Honestly, the hardest thing is the mini games. Actual combat isn't all that tough. Stock up on some potions and Phoenix down. Transmute whatever other consumables you need. Don't let labels define your adventure. Have fun. Try the most difficult mode off the bat. The appeal of the games will really shine.

Finally a direct and useful tips compared to other channels that keep repeating an tips
You can use the Assess materia for enemies you haven't scanned in the combat simulator if you went around the world map gathering intel, that way you won't need to run all the way back for enemy spawns.
The only helpful comment here among all.
I had to Assess a Levridon because it only appears one time in the entire game outside the, again, one time it appears in the combat simulator. I wasn't about to clear an entire Chapter's quest data just for one quest that has the Levridon appear. I think you can reset Completed Quest data but I didn't want to experiment lol.
I had no idea blindside could break out of Bound state, this guy did his homework! The multi basic spell materia setup for Aerith is also crazy, will keep that in mind to cheese some bosses with a specific elemental weakness

This is basically my build for Cloud since I primarily play with him. I use the increased ATB rate weapon skill, and then have elemental materia linked to Fire and Ice materia to always be doing elemental dmg. Set up discharge at the beginning of the battle and have three elements covered with every hit. I’m still experimenting though.
I use this for Cloud as well except after plasma discharge I do a Sonic Boom, which grant you faith and bravery. Powerful combo imo
Sonic boom + igneous saber + genji gloves = deleting every enemy with Infinity’s End
@@ShittyMcPoopyBalls I just got Infinities End and good god its powerful. I’ll save two ATB charges, switch to another character to stagger enemy, switch back to Cloud and the enemy is no more.
Gotta be careful though, since if an enemy is resistant to fire or ice you'll do reduced damage.
@@mikedelgrande5296 make sure you use a strong attack from punisher mode for berserk’s +30% damage buff before infinity’s end
to be honest i have something a little less crazy but very efficient with tifa and damage/stager wise very powerful , the discharge are just a bonus not a core . But this look OP AF .
Unneeded in normal playthrough but i will keep this video under my radar in case i really struggler in hard mode .
The really good thing about this is that all he is talking about even the sinergy-auto spell stuff cost NO MP.......
Plasma discharge has been so useful, especially with the enemies who have physical immunities, and yuffie is definitely the only character who can stay on an enemy long enough for it to be practical

I was trying to use Aerith more to just get better with more of the spells and wards... but Yuffie is the same but faster and seems to be stronger than Aerith... Cloud + Barret/Tifa + Yuffie hits everything I think
Rebirth made one of my least played character in the og into someone I use constantly for her different ninjutsu powers and her actually funny lines in the game
She's legit broken in OG 😂. Some her setups are crazy. Her and Vincent break the game.
Man, one of my favourite combos is having yuffie equipped with 3 petrify's supported by magnefy, synergy, magic focus, paired with her doppelganger & aeriths radiant & arcane ward, rocks just shooting up from the ground EVERYWHERE!!!
Thank you for not doing heavy spoilers. i saw a video that was the best way to start ff rebirth and it had spoilers for half the game, which was very unnecessary
Yuffie struggles with the responsibility of being an icon.
There's so much you can do with her it's insane, rn I have her as my main dps spamming ninjitsu with doppelgänger then spamming blindside or enemy skills or anything really until her banishment is full and then letting that rip. ATB assist materia with this turns her into an ATB farm for everyone else too. Also been playing with a darkside build but I'm still tryna work out how to manage the HP loss from darkside. Easily my favourite character

Same. Barret too but his output is a little weak if enemy isnt staggered (on brutal)
I do something similar with Red XIII, but with atb charge as it essentially turns it into an attack when you use it. And then while using sentinel mode which gets you atb, then his spin attack absolutely fills atb like crazy all while filling his limit bar insanely fast. Even in smaller battles I can have a full limit 10 seconds in

I was using Yuffies doppelganger with Aeriths Arcane Ward to do 4 aga spells for the cost of 1. To make it even more absurd you could pair it with the swift caster materia so it doesn't take as long to cast.

An extra tip to do even more damage is to use the sonic boom to get physical and magic attack damage buff
I may need to start using those shortcuts eventually. xD I'm sometimes stubborn with stuff like that. I played half of FF7 Remake without Materia since I thought of it like just minor stats-boost as in FFXIV or WoW Socket-Stones. Boy was I wrong. xD But that build sounds interesting. Saw some videos with Cloud using that, but seems to be faster on Yuffie.

ATB Assist? Is that the one that boosts your team mates' ATB when a character uses two abilities? Seems like that would synergise well with this build too
Even before this video, I found that Yuffie had become as essential as Barret. I used to keep Tifa as a primary party member, but going through Hard Mode, Yuffie has so much versatility with her Ninjitsu, she's practically indesposeable.
Early on I've been doing something similar on Tifa. I don't have Yuffie yet.
Remove doppleganger on the hot bar and add in art of war, consecutively using it will increase dps and proc synergy materia
I haven't tried the shocks yet but it'd break my PS5 i've had a few crashes. Yuffie spamming windstorm with the speed demon keychain is already busted it can fill her ATB gauge each time on multiple target fights.
I really hope they give us a way to be broken overpowered in the final chapter. Some of the most fun was being able to blast pretty much anything with slash all, 4x cut and quadra magic.
Pro tip: If you missed accessing enemies in the field, you can actually access the ones in the battle simulator and it still counts. You can get a majority of the ones you need just from there.
Cait sith seems to get infinite ATB when he jumps up and sits on you... i know when i had to solo him in the shinra mansion and fight those candle dudes, i found myself infinite chaining the stomp. Might be worth a shot.
Greatest ninja yuffie
I believe you can actually do this build on many characters. Yuffie is one of the best to do it on since many of her abilities cast quickly, but since the fundamental tactics come from materia you could do this build on anyone. While he isn't as good at hitting aerial enemies, Cait Sith might actually be a better character to build around because he has so many ways to gain Luck and thereby increase his crit chance. Like Yuffie, he has several very quick abilities in the form of Let's Ride, Dodge'n'Dive and, to a lesser extent, Fortune Telling, and also like Yuffie, his natural Speed stat is quite high. He doesn't have as many useful long-range abilities like Yuffie does, but the constant explosions from Plasma Discharge mean that you really want to be in melee to get the full benefit from this build anyway. IMO, the main benefit of Yuffie specifically is that she can alter her elemental output to be whatever the enemy is weak to, while Cait Sith's elemental output is largely random and his most consistent damage type is physical. Cait Sith is also easier to knock around than Yuffie, though Yuffie is pretty easy to knock around as well. Still, Cait Sith is definitely worth at least testing this build on if you enjoy his play style and are interested in trying this build.
Seen a tip about his dice roll other day. U can manipulate the number u want by walk/running into it. He’s interesting hero for sure I wanna see his end game crit dmg still on 1st play through
Ugh.... I never liked using Shortcuts in Remake.... I am definitely going to have to relearn combat & force myself to learn to use Shortcuts... I really don't want to tho... I like using the Menu to select moves!

I figured this out but with Cloud before I got Yuffie (minus the steal materia). I don't think I'll transfer it to Yuffie until I have the right weapons/abilities to be useful.

lol, 60 hours in.. and I finally got the crash. I finally got her weapon that gave you doppelgänger, and tried it with the build routine. The Ps5 could not handle that beat down 🤣. She’s pretty OP without doppelgänger anyway. The build was working fine without it. Didn’t think I would get the “CTD” on the ps5, but I guess Yuffie did the trick

How does her clone interact with this set up? Coz I know that the clone Mug attack can refund ATB, so it happens twice. Would it be OP if the clone also has an explosion?

Did you never learn to press right on magic or skills to get different/stronger versions? Also, 90 hours? I'm at 110 and still haven't beaten the game.

I saw a similar build with Cloud which I'm currently using. But Yuffie is interesting, What about adding Speed Demon Charm that builds ATB with weapon abilities?

One of the only videos on UA-cam about how to build a high level build on one of the characters. It’s crazy how long it is taking content creators to get these out the game is gonna lose its hype by the time they produce the content. Anyway, this video is fantastic and I love the build.

Fuma shuriken and cetran bracer is chapter 13, Corsair’s compass is chapter 12 I believe.

I thought with Skill Master you couldn't use the same string of abilities more than once or it won't work? In Remake I am pretty sure you had to change the abilities used for it to keep working. Is that no longer the case in Rebirth?

Yuffie also has a folio skill that grants the faith status when you steal something successfully.

Really wish you could turn down spell effects, for a LOT of reasons, but this video highlights another of them. The PS5 can't handle it.
My PS5 doesn't have an issue with Yuffie's full potential.

Plasma Dischage is what makes this lightning build work. There’s no equivalent for the other elements.
It’s a enemy skill thing, however u could probably make your team throw in all the fire u want by linking multiple fire materia like he showed witth aerith and her comets/blizzards
