The video is about converting an old fan, not about power management.
Thumbs up!
Thanks

Thank u for this ❤❤
The motor is an ac type fan and u need a converter to convert the ac voltage to dc so it will be useful for led type bulb
He did use one diode and a capacitor for that purpose.
Rectifier??
Wow this looks cool lol I gotta try it 🙂🙂 thanks for the tutorial ❤️
thank for watching bro

@@nda GoodAfternoon Idol ? Can help us to do that ? Can I get your Fb account ?
If you do this, you will FRY your 12vdc electronics.
The video maker has no understanding of rectifiers and how to achieve a solid 12vdc current.
100% you plug a phone into this and you will FRY IT
What is the voltage and watts output?
It look interesting ☺️
Thank you for idea... Amazing 6:42
Call of duty zombies and for all who know etheric energy this is just amazing the amount of knowledge that is spread now days I love it for the simple men 😎for simple life style living. can u improve it tho?
You should have used a FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER with the two middle pins connected to the wires coming from the motor/generator and a DC capacitor connected to the output of the FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER with +to+ and -to- so you get full DC voltage plus you won't risk burning anything up that requires a DC input such as your phone/tablet or anything else.
The people who make these type of videos have little to zero understanding of tech.
They simply do it for the views and monetization.
Perhaps add a 5V or 12V Zener diode as well if the purpose is known.
@Anirban Sen IF the voltage is high enough it will backbfeed through a zener diode which is why silicon diodes are used to make full bridge rectifiers or 4 silicon diodes in a dimond (square) can be used to make a full bridge rectifier with a DC capasitor on the + and - to change he AC voltage output to DC voltage.
@@jclowe735 That rectification is just Full AC Wave to DC, right? What about voltage control?
@Anirban Sen yes and after the AC to DC rectification add a voltage regulator to keep a stable 5 to 12 volts output so what you are supplying power to doesn't burn up (phone, tablet, laptop computer, GPS or anything that's sensitive to voltage spikes).
*EXCELENTE VIDEO = EXCELLENT VIDEO !!*
Great video and I would commision you to build one for me .
it had so much potential but with the other comments absolutely debunking everything about this video, the max power output is only really 2w at most, if you actually built this well, it would definitely need a new motor or even a completely redesigned diy motor for generating power, ideally brushless to increase lifespan, id love to a see a better execution of this video without the fakery
I know nothing about how this works but do you perhaps think a car generator could be use as a base to build from? Maybe they are not easy to rotate?
I noticed when cut the shaft to place the magnets you label the magnet north and south by their poles the north are then next one south is just flipping the poles right. How did you get the slots so even ? Making passes with grinder the depth of the magnet? I have that same motor you used. What wires did you cut at. end of build? Were they the wires for a capacitor. Did that start out as an induction motor? I'm teaching myself but at the beginning of my journey. Great idea and video though.
It’s probably fake since he doesn’t explain anything, preventing us from debunking the video
He cut the 3 coil phase wires. I'm curious what two wires were connected for output. In a 3 phase motor which has 6 windings the output voltage is ac so if he cutthe three wires and didn't use them, where was the voltage coming from ?
The homemade turbine you made looks like it would be great for carrying to a camp site or cabin where you might not have power or as a off grid thing
Can you please tell us where you obtained the magnet's and there size?
The magnet is N52 size(20mm by 10mm by 5)
turbine Motor + USB Water Pump + Supercapacitor = Permanent free energy 😋🤞
explain more....
@@thebigfella9095 im confused too
Maybe he meant combination of wind and hydro power source
Good Idea 👍
thank bro
Please watch the new video
Will you try to gear it for more power
Nice idea 💡 👌
Well, for starters, your placing the magnets they way you did say there is no way you connected that directly to a set of LEDs and charging your phone because it was generating AC so would need a rectifier to convert it to DC. Also if you wanted DC output, al you had to do was place the magnets all with the North or South pole facing out. This would make it a DC generator.
Hi
Would you pls. Explain more how would l get DC in this case of fan
Thanks
@@essamtal4333 2 ways. 1) If you place the magnets so the the magnetic field is the same (i.e. all North facing out) all the way around it would be similar to a permanent magnet DC motor (except the magnets are rotating rather then the armature), as the polarity would NOT be flipping with each pole. 2) You could add a rectifier to the output thereby changing it to a constant DC current
Couldn't they just be flickering? I'm annoyed that the view of the multimeter is so unclear and the camera is moving all over the place though.
Edit: made a screenshot and zoomed in and the multimeter does indicate AC. As a bonus the screenshot doesn't play 'tarded music or dance around the actual data.
Hi there I'm busy making myself one at the moment my wiring seems to be the problem
Phone chargers have rectifiers since all batteries are DC it's that little metal thing the USB is plugged into, and i thought he placed the magnets in opposite polarities to force an alternating current
Splendid! Thumbs up!
How's the wiring if you're connecting it from a wind turbine MPPT which usually has 3 blue wires for input and black and red wires for output?
there are only three wires if you configure the generator coils in a three phase setup. There are such things as single phase electrical generators. The latter is much simpler with less wiring and less diodes being used to rectify the output.
You'd need a rectifier but even then depending on the voltage output you might destroy the mppt
The wiring on wind turbine mppts have diodes on all 3 input wires, you can simply add two wires and leave the 3rd unwired
what you think can we use more magnets?
Inspirational 👍
Keep it Up 👍
Thank bro
Gd job sir,,,,
Great video
name of music🤔pleas
Add a fan and make your own wind Walmart sells electric leaf blowers for $30! Solar panels just add lights! Hydro power just pump the water back into the lake!
It showed you cutting a set of wires and keeping only two (yellow and red). Which are the ones you cut? I am actually following your steps to build one. I have 3 wires from the stator. Which one should I remove?
Looks like he dead ended the wires for fan speed
I think is wiser to use a voltmeter and test it after you add the magnets ,i lack all 3 parts ,so i am just guessing that maybe the electric ity will travel tro the wires.
Lol how did you get on?
the fan exploded while cutting wires
What solution did you use to stick the magnet on that iron? thank you
They are magnets, they stick to metal especially copper I think…
@@moedia5519 you missed the point.. hes asking what the glue is that he used.. its important to use a glue instead of relying on on the magnets to hold themselves in place
you don't fkn need to do anything to the fan to turn it into a power generator other than regulating the output. every wind turbine is a fan and vice versa.
Excelente
Is there any chance of using this as a blender motor or it's not powerful enough
Good and congratulations. Is it battery or electricity dat is powering the fan ,? There is a socket connection I saw but did see where it originated from?
dude.. the wind is turning the blades... this generates electricity. This is not a video about a fan that can spin by itself.
Muito bom meu amigo
Thank you brother
how much power does it produce
Be great if you would give the links to the stuff you use in the videos.
Good job
Super cool vraiment
How did that armature turn orginally in the fan? I've never seen an armature without coils.
squirlcage induction rotor
the "coils" are the diagonal slots. a laminated steel rotor with slots filled with conductor. single "turns". they make these little ones by simply casting aluminum around the steel discs and turning it down to expose the steel.
so yeah, its a squirrel cage two phase induction motor. uses a single phase supply with a capacitor to create a phase difference. as its only small, it has no switching gear, so its capacitor run and technically... two phase as theyre always in circuit.
versus the larger capacitor start motor using a switched winding for that "extra" phase. draws more current so it makes more torque for starting... has to be switched out or it burns out.
Boy that fan blade is turning fast, and not seeing any of the background vegetation move like there is a lot of wind (although a short shot at end, so hard to see).
Which windings did you use? High speed, medium speed, or low speed?
Sir, how many volts can produce from your wind Turbine genarator, I am a student and I'm making a research about like what you did, so sir plss answer my question 🥺
Hey... Did you finally find the answer?
No idea why people make self help videos and when viewers have basic questions the person can't be bothered to answer any of them.
Also at the end of the video what is powering that fan with your cell phone and blinking LED lights attached because that ISN'T the wind blowing those blades that fast indoors and definitely not those magnets doing it either ... Most likely its with the aid of Adobe premiere
Hopefully you will at least answer this question as it benefits everyone watching. Thanks in advance for taking the time to make and share this video. Please answer viewers questions as they have asked excellent ones

That magnet is the strongest, so to generate more electricity we have to make the motor even bigger
Sir your video is correct and joob job...amazing DIY
Did you try it?
Wire kon si may connection Kiya hay
I need ask this is strong enogh to power up a bulb?
Could you make more than 4 magnets?😊
What are the specifications of this fan or does most fans have the same specs
good idea
wow what a beautiful video
take a BLD fan instead of old fan. that has magnet already.. can be directly used.
how can you avoid the twisting of the cables?? your generator moves freely 360⁰ right?
By ether putting them in the base or tape them down and leave a lil slack
Curious if a charge controller would allow you to charge batteries and if so how long it would take until you have full capacity
Depends. How many Watts does this put out, and how many Amp Hours do your batterie total?
There are online calculators for that, I'm sure.
And I wouldn't expect this to ever be able to produce more than the Watts it used as a fan, and then only when spinning at the same speed it did then.
I am a noob, but isnt the fan producing 110v right how it is? I mean if u turn the blade by hand doesnt it produce electricity at the plug?
No, electricity is generate only if you move a magnet or an electromagnet next to a coil
What is the size of the magnet
what is the size of the magnet, please i tried it here, i am getting a low volt 1.5volt, can you tell me what size of magnet you use
It's not for everyone to do that, you need the tools and knowledge
I have a question. Can we produce more electricity if we use a stronger magnet?
I'm confused as to why he had to cut in and glue in magnets. I had always thought that any motor could be a generator if its shaft was spun. Obviously, I'm wrong, but can someone explain why he had to cut and hack it like that?
you're not wrong, this is a stupid video
superb
6:45 he pans back up, fan is just blazin fast, but notice all the tiny leaves on the ground not even moving 🤣 nor the background stuff
another prank
je ne sais pas comment vous faites! pour moi ça tourne mais pour l'electricité il n'y a rien!!!
Been there, done that. I used a small DC motor that had permanent magnets in the armature. That powered a buck-boost switching regulator I designed, using the 78S40 IC. It was used to charge Lithium Ion batteries (14.4 V), with a charge controller evaluation board from Maxim. The worst part of it was the fan blades.
ZZZZZzzz
@@keekwai2 VuuuuuVAAAFFEEEE-WHUUP!
@@williamogilvie6909 I agree.
@@williamogilvie6909 the pitch is backwards. they arent a PROPELLOR, they are a retar... damn, im not allowed to say it in this PC world of free speech...
hmmm. hinder. slow. inhibit.... thats right. i started calling them "hinderellors".
a wind turbines job is to SLOW the air down. so the pitch is the exact reverse of what you use when you want to ACCELERATE the air.
@@paradiselost9946Does it works? I have a school project making a wind turbine that’s fully functional . Could you please list down all the things that you used? Thank you in advance!
In last 5 seconds the rotor blades look like they spinning over 1000rpm.. Must be quite a breeze there lol....If i was to guess , it looks like its using power instead of generating it,,,,hahaha
How to choose the correct magnets, I have 4 magnets and each has magnet power 9 pounds. The metal stick does not move at all. Can someone explain how to do it correctly?
they dont need to be the "correct magnets" as techiniqly any magnet would work... the reason he choses this specific magnet is the size... because its the only size that fits in between the copper windings and the metal cylinder he attaches the magnets too 👍🏼
What an innovation 💡! Well done.
Good
you didnt include that you woul need a voltage transformer
Awesome
How much walt will be produced from this fan
Cuál es cable que uno corta esa instalación?
Use gear for more power.
How much power did it generate ?
It said 37v ac peak
Didn’t say how many amps tho
@@themastereal8345 thanks .
So again is it putting out AC are DC?
2:09 magnet
Can i do it without magnet?
Itu yg dipakai jalur kapasitor y bang?
good
That's right because it's a small generator
how long would it takes to charge a tesla?
Materiale?
Can i repost it bro, ?this video showing in creative commons licence
The fan inside aircon is much better I've used both can't even compare the two aircon fan bigger and they spin if you just sneeze on it
that is bigger generator
Two wiring problems .... 1st , ALL the cut wires should have insulated ends , they might short out randomly otherwise .... 2nd , the twisted output wires should be SOLDERED prior to fitting the heat shrink ... these little tweaks will ensure a MUCH more reliable product ................... DAVE™🛑
You are someone who also has knowledge about electricity. What you say makes sense
Не понял сути.
Почему в выпрямителе один диод? Что за схема подключения обмоток? Почему так мало магнитов?
Didn't explain that 3.5 v thing and how does that help
Нажмите на фрагмент, чтобы вставить его в текстовое поле.🎉
It slow. After having 35% it take your phone 4hours 35 minutes to become full
He don't even secure the wire that he cuthow could you believe this one will work😂
Do all electric motors already have this... alternator parts like the magnets and copper coils already inside them? How do you know which ones have this inside them already and which you'd need to actually go out and install it onto?
These kinds of videos make you think that the electric motors all have the magnets and copper already inside them.
You need to be clear about the motives when you want to do something. I made a video with the AC motor of an electric fan. It's very specific
Yep
Please has anyone tried this, I tried it, it produced up to 20volts max which is enough for my project but the current was poor about 10mA, I am suspecting it's the resistance of the winding not sure though, I wanted to know if anyone succeeded with it, if you did please reply.
there is lots of techinical issue .....electric produce +- , -+ so it should be in order by some circuit
Great video but it can do without the stupid background noisy music that isn't even music at all just i i o o e e yum yum
