Just an secondary unbiased owner, I feel like they are hyped a little more than they actually deliver. I still like them, but my initial impression was one of disappointment. The colors are honestly better than my Macbook Pro M1 display, which is kind of crazy. But I have a lot of issues with blurry text. The head tracking is cool, but any slight movement of your head causes blurring of the text. If your supporting your head against something, it's fine, but if your head is free floating, it's hard to keep it perfectly still. It's weird thing to think about, but on a monitor, your eyes stay focused, and as your head moves a little, you don't even notice your head is moving. But since these are on your face, your head moves with the glasses, and the glasses are fighting your slight movements to keep the virtual display in the same place. You do get some blurring of edges on the top/bottom or both. You also get some glare on the lens from light bouncing off of your shirt, ect. It does not block out light from the sides, so your peripheral vision is bright if your outdoors, or in a well light room. I have a triple monitor setup and going back between that and these glasses, I find the actual displays much easier to use. I bought these for mobile work since I can't bring multiple monitors everywhere. And the spacewalker app is really cool. The displays are quite good, and the head tracking is very precise. After a few days of use, I don't dislike them, but I think a lot of reviews over hype them, and after trying the $3600 apple vision pro, you can see why these are a lot cheaper. It's not bad, I don't regret buying them, but just keep your expectations inline. It's not magic "yet". But I'm excited to see where these are by 2030. It's going to probably get pretty wild, considering how far this industry has come in just a few years.
Nice dude I kinda agree just I do think they’re worth the hype for me a little more that’s just because I genuinely enjoy using them a fair bit and have been great for me personally. With regards to the blurry text on SpaceWalker make sure to update the glasses and app to support the 120hz it’s a game changer!!
Does it have any kind of head tracking the keeps your monitor in one spot in the physical world? Or does the monitor always follow where you're looking? If it's the latter, how would multiple monitors work with that? I don't see the point of these if it doesn't track your head and pin your monitor to the the real world
It looks like in the video at the end it does tracking... but when I ask customer service chat on their site/shop, they tell me it doesn't... maybe a ChatGPT failure
If there as good as the Air 2 Pro's then you will have a great time on the plane. I just got off a trip and they were amazing for consuming content and gaming. I didn't do any heavy productivity, but what I can tell you is that the screen on your eyes is pin perfect.
I really really want to get any of these new type of headsets but imma wait for the next version. Mainly because they are now becoming mainstream, consumers will let the companies what they want improved, and the next version will be a more polished produce. That’s why I waited for the second pair of the meta RayBan shades. The first ones were cool but the second one had a cleaner image for camera and AI built into it.
I just got the viture pro in and thinking I might return them. I mainly got them for editing since it made it sound like it gives you a huge monitor but the panoramic monitors are so wide you have to move your head a lot to see everything, and they are squeezed to the point that you don’t get much vertical spacing. Doing the single monitor looks more promising but the corners are usually out of the screen due to the goggle edges and maybe it’s my eyes but I feel like the edges are sharp but have more issues seeing the center or some text. I’m sure this is cool for gaming but idk about editing and the “panoramic” view I’d imagine is for being able to have peripheral vision but you have to zoom out so much and you still can’t see the sides of the screen.
To add I’m using spacewalker with a Mac M1 Max and I find it a waste that it can project a theme image as a background covering everything, but the actual screen is limited to a smaller area
@@eddiekranc there are limitations but it’s still a wide screen display, using a real widescreen you still have to turn your head. Guess it depends how far you are “zoomed” in as I don’t zoom in that far so it works quite nicely for me

Thanks for replying. That's fair enough. A lot of people weren't particularly into 3D. It's a shame because it's so hard to find information on whether any of these glasses (or many projectors) that could support 3D Blu Rays, actually do. It seems like a perfect use case though. They have HDMI input unlike VR headsets, so could support a direct Blu Ray Player->battery dock->glasses link up without the extra hassle of having to rip the blu rays and convert them to some file format like you do with the Quest for example. If you have a 3D capable blu ray player (Xbox One and PS4 support them too), then investing in a couple of the cheaper 3D Blu Rays off Amazon would really help out fans like me 😊

Thanks for the video! Is there a travel mode on these similar to the new “travel mode” on the quest3 or the “smooth follow” on the XReal Air 2? I think my use case would be during plane flights.
Hey dude! So there isn't a smooth follow mode the image is just "stuck" to your face and follows you where you look, but if using the spacewalker macos app it can be "stuck" in place but because it's not GPS it's not going to drift away whilst on a plane. That's what the MQ3 update to travel mode fixes as far as I'm aware as it's GPS based you can put a window down and walk 100m up the road and it should still be there, XR glasses are different to that - if that makes sense? These would work great on a plane wether working on your MacBook or just plugged into the phone for movies.
@thedeveloperadam it should have the stuck position screen because the older versions have it. I believe you triple tap the single button on the glasses. 😊
Yeah the glare underneath I get what you mean it’s way better, when the glasses are on you don’t seem to get it all but I think it’s an angle thing as shows when I try to film on my phone.
