53 Series Kioti 4x4 with a bucket. Fill the tires. We’ve had ours for a little over a year and love it. Small enough to get through a 6’ gate, but big enough to get a 1,400 lb round bale of hay off the top row of a semi trailer if you don’t mind a little pucker factor.
I had a yanmar from 1980 great tractor then my new one is a KIOTI great tractor love it heat AC and a radio is a step up from starting the yanmar with a screwdriver on the starter, my KIOTI is a CK2620 I push snow with it, now with a 5 Foot brush hog pretty much anything, if I am planting some bushes the auger gets Hooked up and there is no need for a shovel lol
I’ve got a kioti dk4220 40hp with a backhoe and loader and love it. Kioti is a really good tractor with a great price and great warranty, but my uncle has a Kubota MX5400 55hp and that is the absolute cadillac. Get what you pay for I guess.
That’s probably one of the very first attachments i was looking at getting with the tractor. They appear to be essential when working with trees or brush in any capacity.
Looks like you are near my neck of the woods. Illinois Tags, Ameren Pipeline Manuals, Fabick Rental, and a Aviston Lumber Building Materials. Given the Dealers in our Neck of the Woods, JD, CIH, or NH are you best routes for Dealers. Midwest Tractor Sales (New Holland) and John Deere have largest Dealer Networks. Don’t be afraid to Shop outside of the area for Older Pre-Emissions Tractors. There are A Lot of Pre-Emissions Tractors with fairly Low Hours that can be had for less than $60,000. New Holland TD, TL, TS, & TM Series Tractors that are Pre-Emission. Also T5000 & T6000 Pre 2011. Bluff Equipment (CIH Dealer) in Vandalia has a 2007 New Holland TD95 (95 hp) with a Loader, Open Cab, 433 Hrs. Also look at Burkholder Tractor & Equipment in PA. They get a lot of Older Pre-Emission Tractors from those smaller Pennsylvania Farms and Mennonite’s that are Clean and well cared for with Low Hours. They have some newer stuff as well. You want 2011 and Older Tractors to avoid all of the Emission Problems. Just don’t tell your Old Lady that you bought a Tractor until it is being Delivered in the Driveway.
Yep. Clinton County! Thanks a lot for all the info. I wasn’t even thinking about the emissions on the tractors. I’ll definitely be looking into used jut to avoid that whole mess.
I'm sure you've thought of it but you may consider a skid loader instead of the tractor with loader bucket. Way more uses around the farm in my opinion if you have several other tractors already. Attachments are everywhere and relatively affordable also can get into tighter places and do more finish grade work with it. Grapple bucket tooth bucket brush hog trencher auger etc all useful tool to have around the farm plug and play ready to go on skid loader. Also compact enough to put on trailer with several attachments. The Kubotas have a nice roomy cab and slide up doors where you can get out while loader arms are half way up. Great for working by yourself unlike cat cabs etc that you cant get out if the arms aren't all the way up or down. Just some input of things to consider before dropping the cash on something.
I have thought about that a lot! I agree, a skid loader would work great for a lot of things. My in-laws have 2 at their farm which i could use if i ever really need them. I mainly want the tractor for the farming use and the convenience of using the loader and attachments occasionally.
I plan on it. My bigger HP tractors will always be case. My family and I have quite a few to choose from when the work gets heavy. I’m going to try and stick to what I personally own on this property for now.

That sounds exactly like what I’m after!! Thanks! I’ll check into them.

Nice! I’m sure once i have one I’ll find uses for it i never thought about before.
Thanks for sharing brother
Thanks for your support!
I have a TYM T574 55 hp turbocharged and the engine is blueprinted after a 4bt cummins. Its great tractor we love it!
That’s good info! Thanks a lot! I’m looking pretty hard at those. It seems to be just about what i would be needing.
@@DownhillWelder300 just depends on if ya want a hydrostatic or shuttle shift
Looks good!
Thanks a lot!

That’s what I’ve been seeing and hearing. I need to decide on a price range and accept the options it has to offer.
You also definitely need a grapple for your loader. It has been the absolute best piece of equipment I have ever owned.

John Deere 4020 is a good starter tractor because they cheap horsepower and easy to maintain imo
I love saving money my man
You and me both! I don’t think i found a single negative review of that brush cutter. I plan to tell it like it is.
Every man should have several tractors as time goes.
I’m working on it. My wife doesn’t agree with that philosophy though. lol
TYM cab tractor I have one and I put it up wet and it just keeps coming back for more.
I’ve been seeing and hearing lots of great things about them. They’re definitely close to the top of my list of considerations.
You want a cab, I had no cab fir 12 years got a new tractor with a cab 100% never going back
I would imagine it’s one of those things that you don’t know how good it is until you have it or lose it.
Then for a bigger tractor DMAXryno has a KIOTI and he works that also there great
I’ll definitely look into them. Thanks for all the info!
Stay with older tractor you can work on it
