great team work
God sent you a real true companion and truly a great trooper. Cherish her forever.
If you ever let her go I want her
Ì will let her have as many animals as she desires.
Awesome and stay safe
Neat and nice construction.
Thumbs up to Rebekah. Special woman. Great job moving the carport and on to the next project. 👍
Hi..... Evan, Country View Acres. Thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐖🐈🌱🐐🎥👍👍👍
Kudos to Rebecca for being such a big help. It looks like your back is much better.
This is your best "Drama" video. You got it "done". You deserve an achievement award.
Found you via @General Vlog Video shoutout. 😊
good job I have been watching u from your frist video keep them coming my grandson comes over and watch's with me and my wife my wife love to fish she likes watching your wife fish
Evan You could bolt some board to the bottom and then install turkey curtain to the top part and make a good shed
At least you’ve done it good job mate 😀😀👍🏼
Great job Evan & Becks 😤😡🚜💖💑
Rocked it. Chaching!
Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🇺🇸
And Rebecca too! 🇺🇸
Awesome!!
Looks great, so glad your back is better!
Rebecca is your rock. always there for you.
cool..... got the carport moved..... great vid..... oh yeah. .. behind every man is a good woman..... thx for bringing us along....
Great problem solving by you two. It was interesting to watch.
problem solving on the fly is a gift.
It looks great!!!! And it was better than paying someone. Happy y’all have that give and take!!! And no bloody noses 👃
Could you have put some temporary wheels at least on the two back corners? I mean while you are dragging it to its new home.
That is what I was thinking also...
I was thinking about the same thing exactly .. and then lifting front up and rolling it as a trailer .. would've made life much easier for the carport as well :))
If you had some pieces of pipe, 3 inches or bigger 1 ft long, you could have put them under the bottom rail perpendicular to the rail and used them as rollers to move it. That's how I moves mine.
Nice work
Most important thing is you got it done...!
That was a beautiful tribute to your better half. 👍👍 And the rest of the video was good too.
Evan, I just started watching your channel recently. I would like to suggest if you move a large carport in the furure or any large structure you affix some wheels to the back of carport to make it easier to move.
You are a lucky man to have Rebecca.
Great job quicker than disassemble and rebuild you make a great team
Good job! A cheap water tote works great for rear ballest with 3 point pallet forks. Turns a 2wd tractor into a tank.
God bless Rebecca, that's a good woman and friend you have. God bless you and your family.
Blessed man!
Now that’s a can do attitude. Always enjoy watching your channel.
At the end of that miserable day, you saved yourselves twenty thousand dollars and have a new shed. Not a bad payoff for one difficult day!
Enjoy revisiting this daring do. 👍👍👍
Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸 Evan, that was a beautiful tribute to Rebecca ......❣️❣️
I will admit I thought you’d fail and that’s why I stuck around to watch...but you two got it done, I’m impressed.
Nice work!
Y’all are Awesome. Looks Great , a very hard job. I would put a Back wall in.
When I have moved sheds before or loaded them onto a trailer. We cut some small tree probably about 2-3 inch diameter. We would place them towards the back of the structure and the structure would roll on the small round piece of wood. WORKS GREAT!! Would also help to turn the structure if one side of the far end is off the ground.
looked good!! my dad and i moved a 20 x 24 building that had been part of the 2 room school house that my mother had gone too we were lucky to have some wooden bridge stringers about 6x18 in about 3 miles and across a bridge it was a "fun time" i dont remember how long it took us to get it there but we did it . it is now the family cabin with a sleeping loft worth all the effort!!! take care
Good job on the move. I would caution you about adding sides. Enclosed sides without substantial bracing of the ends would dramatically increase lateral load (wind force). A wind of 60mph produces a lateral load of approximately .61 psi. You can do the before and after math. .61 psi might not seem much, but enclosing would be roughly a jump of a few tons lateral load to many tons of lateral load or about 7X. That's without calculating the "drag" effect. Just my 2¢ worth.
Good luck!
If you don't want to tackle the job of building a wall on the end, looking into the heavy duty trucker tarps that are used to cover their loads. My friends Dad has used them for many years, in our northern Minnesota climates, and they hold up well, and keep things clear of rain, sun and snow beating in on them.
Good job, team work gets it done.
Way to go you two..... Thanks Rebekkah for building such a great relationship..... Have a great life you two and enjoy it too!!!!!
Good job, both of you!
Next time you move a carport or shed , use 4inch thick wall PVC to put under skids and it will slid sidways when you turn Ned connect your chains to the same point on the tractor and it will turn. Works great !
It looks like it was a challenge, but the two of you guys figured it out. Always nice to have a real partnership with you wife. I have been lucky with mine for 39years and loving it.
Si Gogglin! The anchor bolts cracked the concrete pad a lot! I like the way Rebecca jumped right in, she's a great farmer in her own right! Neat video indeed! TY
Team work! for sure. Happy Independence Day.
I well remember Evan moving this carport by himself" I was so scared for him I had to turn my head. This Guy is so brave. Don’t tell him he can’t do something. He can do anything. I bet he was a hand full for his Mom and Dad.
You guys made it same smooth. Yay, Rebecca.
Good job guys. You two have the capacity to adjust your plans to accomplish anything. Rebecca is truly a blessing. Have a great 4th.
Wow that is a daunting task for two people to take on. And, Rebecca you are one hell of a woman. I don't know of anyone's wife that would have helped them with that, mine never would have. I can only imagine the conversation during the day, the fact that you two are still talking to each other now, is a testament to your love. Great job and what a great video.
Jimmy
Lots of wives would and do help like that.
I moved a carport just a bit smaller than that once. We used my 2 tractors to lift it on the sides. Then we set it down on 4 old 50 gallon barrels. Backed a flat bed trailer into the carport and slide a couple 25 foot old beams we had across the trailer front and back. Then we used the tractors again to lift the carport up off the barrels and sit the carport down on the beams. Off we went to a neighbor 2 miles away that bought it....
I admire your patience, determination and ability to come up with solutions how to do stuff. Even getting those bolts out. Once you got going onto the track it looked quite good.
Would the Amish way been a good idea? Get lots of people to carry it?
That was a nice compliment to Rebecca, thankfully she will put up with your need to have everything precise and at the correct angles. Thank fully you - hopefully - never need to move it again, another BIG job ticked off!!
SOUNDS LIKE YALLS A GOOD MATCH THEN, IF SHES A HELPIN HAND EVEN WHEN YA LOOSE YA TEMPER, SHES A KEEPER
Went Wrong Day. But you two got it right in the end. I am amazed that you were able to do this job ... AMAZED And you have a wonderful wife ... I know you must thank the Lord for her daily!
Good Job "McGiver".
Hats off to Rebecca.
Teamwork between you and your wife, great job!
Great job you 2 it looks amazing
Great video Evan and Rebecca! I was helping all the way!! God bless y'all!
I have a helping wife like yours. I also have the same Allis Chalmers tractor. Lol. God Bless your family 👍
Well done ,a difficult job for just two people . A builder would have charged a small fortune to move that building for you .You were wise to brace it up before trying to move it .Top marks !
good job you guys
Suggestion for the black door of the carport: Make a well engineered draw up tarp door that can be hosted with a rope or chain that is weighted on the bottom. That way you can keep the drive-thru utility of the carport. You just need to prepare the area around the back of the carport.
Congratulations on your achievement - great team work to get that done!
Amazing💪👍🏆❣️
add a lento addition over the gravel and double the storage area for not much more expense than just a wall on that side.
I guess this means Rebecca gets taken to a nice restaurant for a special "movin' the carport dinner" hahaha. Job well done, obstacles and all. Take a good rest because those legs are going to be quite tired after all the climbing up and down on the tractor. Have a Blessed day and a great 4th.
Well done to both of you!
I know you said you were glad it was over but are you glad you did it? Was it worth it to move it from one location to a cement pad? I know that was your goal. If it was then Job well done. I'm glad you met your expectations . Love the way you two work together and that you give your wife credit. Thank you from all of us wives out there.
With the tools, wood and equipment you had, you did a great job of moving that equipment shelter. Nice going. Art in Calif
Good job to the both of you and that’s on there off the list 👍👍👍👍👍👍😌
Standing in front of stock trailer, made me think. Back trailer into carport and basically haul it on top of trailer.lol kinda sounds crazy . Love your videos!
Very impressed both of you have done a amazing job
wow! held my breath the entire time!! great teamwork!!
Looks like you gotter done! Well done!
Frustrating as heck to move but, very satisfying to see it moved to where you want it. Keep up the good work. For a couple to work together on so many projects like you two have says a lot. Stay safe. Hope you & your family have a Happy & safe 4th.
May have been tough but look how rewarding it is now
I know your frustration but you hung in there and finished it. Kudus tp Rebecca for here perseverance too. Happy 4th of July
Hi Evan and Rebekah, Mission accomplished. Great team work. It look good.
...team work and a good team-mate, makes the difference
Applause to her!!!!!!
Tough as it was, you did a wonderful job with the tools and materials that you had available. Congratulations.
Congratulations to both of you! Great job! Great video! How thankful I am to have stopped by your channel after you all were recommended by another UA-camr, who admires your channel, work ethic, and accomplished results, General Vlog Video. He was so right about the high quality of your content and presentation. It was a pleasure! Blessings and positive thoughts to you all and your family.
My wife and I did something along the same lines, but without the use of a tractor. 20ft by 24ft carport frame that we have set up as a greenhouse. We cheated and used a floor jack to raise the base up and shove lengths of 8in PVC pipe under the base. Put some additional framing boards up and, little by little, pulled it with our truck to its final spot. Pretty sure it looked like a goat roping circus for the bystanders. But went off without a hitch!
Well done the pair of you. Mission accomplished.
I’m amazed you were able to move it without the frame badly buckling somewhere! That is one sturdy old carport! Great job you two!
Relaxed as always and done thejob!💪
Love your video brother keep up your video brother. 👍👍
Well done Rebecca and Evan.....Great example of a loving couple working together.,,So nice to see how y'all compliment each other. Get a shower, get a little rest an have the rest of the night to be together... Y'all are a true blessing.
Evan it is very clear that this project wor you out... i couod see your frustration when you were disassembling the wood braces... be careful out there
Outstanding video. The logic and the effort got it done. Side that thing! Happy 4th!
Nothing worthwhile is ever easy you two kicked butt! Good job
Nice job. when you have to move it again try putting tractor , with counterweight, inside. Put lifting beam with boards laying flat; as many as you had. attach chains to rear, as far back as they reach. attach chains as wide as you can so most of the force is in the direction of travel. The front forks provide as much lift as you need and the steering; the chains the propulsion.
Check it off your list, awesome team you both are.
“If you can find a truly good wife, she is worth more than precious gems!” ~ Proverbs 31:10 The Living Bible
Get an axle from old Chrysler mini van (round) cut axle in half. Add a slightly larger pipe over axle to make it the width you need. Make a 4x6 tongue and cross support it on the other end. Pull it like a big trailer. Add a slow moving emblem on the rear. Probably best to pull with a tractor.
I’m getting ready to move a 20 x 12 Morton building 8 miles and a carport like in the video (a little shorter) about a mile. Wish me luck!
Well done, you two. There is a UA-cam video that shows Amish people manually moving a house about the same distance you moved that structure. I kept thinking of that as you struggled to do this job. Anyway, homestead ingenuity, persistence, and love, got the job done. You’ll have this experience to remember, and see on video, in the years to come and perhaps then you will both be able to laugh about it.
Nothing like the help of a good woman. You’re a blessed man. Y’all made the whole project look so easy!😊
