For anyone wondering, that's Mikey Bordin from Faith No More playing drums here. He's filling in for David who literally broke his wrist by playing TOO hard lol.
This is without a doubt korn in their prime. Bordin did a great job on the drums but it would've been amazing to see them all 5 together playing this kickass great setlist
They are better now than they were back then .saw them a couple months ago and they killed it .I have seen them to many times to count and shit keeps getting better
This is a killer setlist!!! Nowadays they usually play their latest CD singles + greatest hits... but having 4U, Kill you, Trash, Good God, Faget, It's On! and others in a single concert makes this one special. Life is Peachy songs are among my favorites from their live performances.
Holy effin' shit! I'm a KoRn bootleger and I didn't know there was a full version of this performance. Back in the day they used to broadcast 4-5 songs only of this kind of festivals.
One of the coolest moments in rock history is captured here. The very drummer from the band that was a major influence for these guys filling in behind the kit. The whole show, too! Incredible upload.
Oh God this was my first concert ever. Saw this tour In Charlotte NC. I was so excited my legs were actually trembling. One of the best days of my life. My voice was gone for an entire week. I've now seen Korn well over 20 times but this show will always hold a special place in my heart. I've met Jonathan Fieldy and Head. My absolute favorite band.I love them too much
I can see how hard Mikey is trying there behind the drums, and how some beats and fills sometimes sound odd, raw and kinda off, but DAMN did he do a great job at learning all these sick tracks. It's actually one of those cases when the whole energy of the band is so powerful that even if you notice these little things, you still don't even care. Such an amazing show! Thanks for the upload.
Bordin learnt the entire set in 24hrs, so we can allow him being a bit rough at the edges; personally I prefer his drumming over Ray’s. I caught them on this tour in Manchester, England with POD as support. Although the European leg didn’t get the incredible cathedral stage set the US tour got, we did get the Korn Kage!!
I was that kid that if they pulled me out of the audience I would have played every song to a fucking t. I literally played it through first album all the way through issues every single day on drums from the time I was 12 to 22.
@@corydinsmore1117 This makes more sense. For 6 days of focus, he sure could have done better to replicate David. A lot of heavy parts were played with the open hi-hats. David usually went full cymbal.
Right, this is definitely Korn at their peak but I just saw them about 6months ago and Helmet and Evanescence opened up for them and they totally destroyed both of those bands live (and Helmet and Evanescence put on a great show too) but Korn came out and proved why they are still headlining shows in 2022. It felt like it was 2002 all over again. About 5 minutes before they went on stage all the lights at the amphitheater went out and I don't know if I've ever heard a louder applause from a crowd, and I have seen a lot of big bands like Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Metallica, and Pantera to name a few!
What a gem to come across. Seeing shows like this makes me wish I were about 10 years older so I could've gone to these shows. Korn still kills it, but it's not the same as OG Korn. \m/
I was there, front row! I think after them RATM played. Also NOFX played that day. We didn´t have mobiles and just listened and watched and banged our heads ;-) Thank you for uploading!
Hi, I was wondering what happened to all those old Korn shows you used to have on UA-cam and if you still have them? I remember some of them was a audience recording of Rock Im Park 2000 and of Pinkpop 2000 and Tokyo 1998 and Belgium and Italy 2000. I have a long list of Korn stuff I could trade if you had anything from Korn. I would love to have some Flac versions of those old shows you had on UA-cam also, and anything else from Korn that you had.
Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this. This is an almost 23 year old concert and I never saw this performance before. Pro shot too, wow. They were so precise and beefy here. Korn really lucked out with four great drummers David, Mike, Ray, and Joey. This had to have been during or right before that 2000 Summer Sanitarium Tour with Metallica and all those other amazing hard rock bands. Concert footage like this is so precious and for so many reasons. Thank you so much.
Hell yeah man, I saw them about a year before this in Biloxi, MS with Rob Zombie and this was the era at which they were at the apex of their live performances. Thanks for sharing bro, and this is AMAZING quality for being 2000.
YOU ARE A HERO! The first Korn's CD that I get was "Dynamo Open Air 2000" and this introduced me to Korn. And there wasn't footage of these show, except 3 songs in real bad quality on youtube. This is not this show, but is the same tour, the same setlist, maybe a few days of difference. (That CD included any songs from Pinkpop and Rock in Park too). So this is so fucking special to me, a real treasure 🙏. Thanks for posting it! Thank you thank you thank you 🤘. Very great memories of that teenage days, listening to the first time to Korn and changing my life and love for music forever. THANKS!
I saw them the month before this at Wembley Arena in the UK and it was incredible. Even without David it was insane. They did a fan vote to play 5 songs off the 4 records out at the time, and that show was so loud that it held the world record for loudest indoor PA System for quite a while.
Whoa, I've never seen this, amazing footage. The Issues era was where my love of KoRn turned into a full blown obsession so I have a lot of nostalgia for this time in particular. Thanks for the upload!
I was 18 years old, my first festival and somewhere there in the crowd i was jumping around. I can remember that after Korn RATM played. It was an extremely hot day and i must have sweated out 5 liters. Good old no cell phone times.
I've watched a zillion live footage of Korn and I agree this is absolutely one of their best concerts. Both in sound, setlist and vibe. I love many genres, from French chanson to electronic music, but Korn is the only 'metal' band I keep returning to. Jonathan Davis' voice is just so on point here, both powerful & sensitive. One of the greatest vocalists I know. THANKS for the upload
I really enjoyed the Live in Amsterdam and also, while not an actual show, the interview while playing to an empty field for Path to Totality was absolutely balls to the walls. This is definitely coming in at #3 on my own list though and I'm sure to watch many more times after this.
it's quite amazing to see this, it's crazy how nowadays live music has completely lost most of its power, energy and authenticity. Just 5 fucking guys, rocking like there was no tomorrow, giving their all, iconic song after iconic song
This is the most brutal sounding and loudest snare I've ever heard in a show. 💪Mike was always a hard hitter on the drums. Love his drumming in faith no more too. But I love the snare sound here.
Hello many thanks for full set from Issues Era .Through the years iv been searching for a full set from Rock Am Ring 2000 or Rock Am Park :) just two days earlier Korn was in Poland in Katowice Spodek on Sick And Twisted tour and it was my firts live ever witch P.O.D on support...cheers friends :)

Mike Bordin creates tension perfectly. its dirty and swinging
He did incredible on this tour; especially when you consider he learnt the set in 24hrs.
This is peak Korn. Holy shit. What an amazing show. I miss these days. I was 14 at the time.

I was 14 too when I seen them around this time. In saskatoon. Sick and twisted tour
Head's Vocals are so beautiful. Perfect match.
Head's back vocals were spot on
Normally I listen to Enrique Iglesias, but I can appreciate this as well.

Heh, I see whatchu did there 🙂

Yeah sadly the slipknot one wasn't fully broadcast but I'm still pretty dead set on somehow finding the full recording somehow lol.
