- 2003, 6 September: Rap-metal band Limp Bizkit played a huge free show, in front of 30.000 people, at the Finsbury Park in London to make up for a cancelled U.K. date. The show was live broadcasted on various MTV stations across the world.
This is the best version out there! Amazing energy, crowd and everything! Enjoy and feel free to spread it out people!

If I had to put money on it I'd say it was Skan who supplied the sound and sound engineer. They are Berkshire based and have been around long before the 90's! I know they supply sound for the second stage at Download Festival. And Bizkits Download 2013 set sounded awesome!!!

The sound engineers have out done themselves. What a crispy, tasty mix. That snare and bass. Doesn't feel like 2003.
They played this show free after their original date was canceled. And not just for the ticket holders, but everyone! Good old times that will never come back.
No phones, just people enjoying themselves. One of the best live rock/metal shows. This will remain eternal.

Sound engineers usually never get enough credit when the sound is amazing. When the sound is muddy or not mixed well everyone notices and shits on them.

So many people say their best era is the pre RMV, a lot people said after Wes leaving the band Limp Bizkit was dead. But ironically 2003-2004 was Fred's best vocal era and like it or not Mike's live sound is way cleaner than Borland's. My point is, when most people said LM was over they were actually at their best!

I feel so privileged to have been at this show. It's second only to Oasis at Knebworth for the best concert I've ever been to. I also went to the small warm-up show at the Apollo in Manchester a couple of nights before. That was a fuckin mental gig too.
I got dropped while crowd surfing at Finsbury and ruptured a vertabrae, I'm 40 now and still have back pain from it. I'd rupture another couple of those fuckers for the chance to experience this show again.

I was so lucky to be a senior in high school that year. They really tore the house down with this version of "take a look around." They made it so big a rocked it hard as fuck along with Pyro, God I wish I was at this show. The sound was fucking flawless and the boys were on top of their game at the peak of limp bizkit popularity.

Ok, I wanna unpack this. I actually like Mike, and think that Snot was a cool band, and RMV is underrated. But, no way does the band sound BETTER with Mike. He plays Wes parts well, but sadly at this point the band is playing the simplest stuff Wes wrote. There is none of the finger tapping from Three Dollar Bill, and even Significant Other is hardly represented. So, yeah Mike sounds really good on some of the weakest material Wes wrote.

It’s just not the same without Wes… Wes’s style and originality would be hard for any guitarist to try and copy. There is no guitarist around like Wes it’s not just his style of playing and originality but his finesse volume control etc. what are makes Limp the band they are, sick as fuck.

I have to say that when they play free concerts they are on another level. They have played a lot of free shows . And you can even see that this is one of their free concerts and energy is on different level.
As much as I love Wes and Bizkit needs him in the band, Mikes playing is just cleaner but Wes brings that stage presence.
