Turner Motorsport Shark Injector Installation on BMW E46 M3

Watch as I masterfully install the Turner Motorsport Shark Injector on my 2004 M3. It's a small device that reprograms your ECU (DME as BMW calls them) to increase your rev limit, eliminate your top speed governor, give a few extra horse power, and keep Sport Mode on and Traction Control off every time you start your car!

@@seanmiller8701 yes. Main reason I needed was to delete secondary air system. The tune is very lite but it works good for what I need.

I haven't heard that. I would be interested in seeing the reviews/reports of this. I like the overall feel of the remap. And that the Sport Mode stays activated.

@@seanmiller8701 it's not even a remap. All it does it change your throttle input multiplier. Literally does nothing to the table inside dme. If you want a quality tune go with rk tunes and catless headers paired with a intake and power pulleys. This stupid shark injector garbage has to stop.

@@BattleOfAssaultClan I know it manipulates the throttle response by just "re-mapping" the throttle, I like the feel much better than stock. They do make claims that the tune gives you a bit of extra HP/Tq and the car does feel slightly quicker with this. However this thing actually works, I like it. The only mods I have on my car that this Shark Injector takes into account is my CAI, per their claim. They have other tunes with the Shark for exhaust work and Cams I believe. I got it mostly for throttle response, to keep Sport Mode on without always having to push the button, and to get rid of the top speed limiter. If I ever do put on the exhaust and intake manifold that I want I would be going with a different tune for sure.

@@seanmiller8701 yes but understand that you can code the exact same options without having to spend a dime, which is why it's a scam for our cars.

How has the performance been with this shark injector? Were you running another tune previously?

Sorry, I didn't see a notification for your comment. I like the Injector, the car seems to run a bit smoother, and throttle response feels better, not by a lot, but it's kinda noticeable. Mostly I just like how I don't have to push the sport button every time I start the car, it's just always on now. I did seem to get maybe 1-2ish mpg's better fuel economy.

Eh I dunno. I didn't feel any real power gains but it ran smoother and the throttle response was better. Plus, the sport mode is on at start up and no top speed governor.
