A great musician who has not forgotten his roots and supports the Israel Philharmonic; like Isaac Stern and Artur Rubinstein he knows from whence he came and appears to enjoy performing in Israel, even in difficult times. Wonderful.

Is supporting the Israel Philharmonic giving a pass to the state of Israel for its apartheid-like behaviour with respect to the Palestinians? Just wondering....

I just dislike his sound, sharp and thin, which reminds me of the voice of alfredo Krause, who was a great tenor and musician but with an unpleasant voice.

Self-indulgent, overly aggressive playing, with sudden shrill outbursts. The sound might have to do with the mic placement, but the interpretation is all the musician.
