On 24th December 2011, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the best orchestras in the world today, celebrated its 75th Anniversary with a concert conducted by Zubin Mehta in Tel Aviv (Hangar 11). They were joined by the internationally-renowned soloists Julian Rachlin, Evgeny Kissin and Vadim Repin in a spectacular programme of Saint-Saens, Bach, Chopin, Chausson and Beethoven.
Familiar from childhood music just warmed one’s heart. Beautiful and unforgettable.
Beautiful music gifted to me with wonderful feeling to 82 years old Los Angeles enjoying lovely violin sounds. Thank you so much for remembering all of lovely music involving with emotional. God bless my lovely beautiful people. Thank you !
A great musician who has not forgotten his roots and supports the Israel Philharmonic; like Isaac Stern and Artur Rubinstein he knows from whence he came and appears to enjoy performing in Israel, even in difficult times. Wonderful.
Is supporting the Israel Philharmonic giving a pass to the state of Israel for its apartheid-like behaviour with respect to the Palestinians? Just wondering....
One of my favorite musical works....played wonderfully.
Great performance!!! Thank you Maestro Z.Mehta!!!!
Nailed it!
Amazing! ❤
Old school of violin play
admirable dans tous les sens du terme
WOW!!!!!!!!
From 2:25, fantastic!
Que Músico! Por favor!
Carmen Fantasy ! Would you play it for all your audience? Your fluent and great skill can play it perfectly.
Biff Tannen?
I just dislike his sound, sharp and thin, which reminds me of the voice of alfredo Krause, who was a great tenor and musician but with an unpleasant voice.
Self-indulgent, overly aggressive playing, with sudden shrill outbursts. The sound might have to do with the mic placement, but the interpretation is all the musician.
