Hey Asia and BJ. Thanks for reacting to Rammstein. Rammstein are a German industrial metal / hard rock band, so they sing mostly in German, but have some songs in English. In German, the 'ei' in 'stein' is mostly pronounced like 'eye' and 'ie' is pronounced 'ee' - whatever vowel comes second, that's what you pronounce. It's different to English in many cases. "Du hast (you have) mich (me)," sounds similar to, "Du hasste (you hate) mich (me)," so there is a play on words in the lyrics. The song is about a lack of commitment by many to their marriage. The lead singer, Til, is a qualified pyrotechnicist, so their live shows always have lots of fire. Many of their songs have a fairly simple structure, but they are usually very emotive and dramatic, and their live shows are epic. My favourite song is 'Keine Lust' (No Desire). It's a faster paced song, so I'd love to see you react to that if you're going to do any more Rammstein. Thanks again.
One thing is for sure, doesn't matter if you love Industrial Metal or not, you always have to love just the pure energy and presentation of Rammstein concerts. Master class in how to do a concert.
Just think this is in France and all the fans are not German nor do they speak german ... but they sing along ... that shows dedication and the love to a band
Their BIG recent song , is the song "Deutschland". You need watch the official music video. Should watch the full video including the end credits to. It'll be hard to take in everything what is going on in one viewing, but without spoiling it it is about the history and potential future of Germany. That should help atleast a bit to know.
Rammstein is demonic and sexually disgusting. That's why their music is so appealing to many. These people are not German's. They're from the other tribe and the music is used to degrade German people.
Seeing this done live blew my mind. Literally in my top 3 concert moments ever and I've been going to at least 3 big shows a year since I was 2, I'll be 32 in March.
The lead singer Till is a licensed pyrotechnician, they call the keyboardist Flake. This band is amazing, please check out Engel live at Madison Square Garden.
