The classic " is he in a treadmill? " reaction never fails!!
was waiting for that too XD ALWAYS!
yea lmao
exactly and the fire too
Everytime 🤣

Fun fact: Till Lindemann is a professional pyrotechnician. Using fireworks was banned in any concert without the consultation and supervision of pyrotechnician... So he studied and got his certificate so that his band (Rammstein) could perform live fireworks in their concert. Legend
And that’s what you call boss moves 💯🔥
Joining the epic ranks of extreme DIY musicians like Bruce Dickinson, who learned how to fly a 747 when Iron Maiden replaced their tour bus with one.
I am an German Rammstein fan.
Rammstein came from the old DDR with the wall in Berlin. In the 90s Rammstein grows up to east german superstars. The name Rammstein is a name of a small town in west germany. The US militairs using it as a militairi base. They have A-Bombs there and there is the Europen ralley station for the drons in Moslem land.Decades in the past, the US make an flying show with jets, and 2 jets collide and going down middle in the people, they enjoing the show. Many many dead bodies!!!You can see an documentary here on youtube.
What i try to say is,the name Rammstein is not a funny name.
@@golo00011 Das eine ist Ramstein, das andere Rammstein. Du sagst, dass Rammstein kein witziger Name ist - .... die Frage ist... wer hat das denn jemals behauptet?
Based
This is a German band, singing in German going on in France with a bunch of French speaking individuals singing along in German. Music transcends language.
same with england and america, pretty nuts
I've got songs on my playlist in English, plus 2 varieties of German & Bantu. I can sing along with dozens of songs, tho the one in Bantu I've never found a translation for. :-(
And politics. And history. Metal has no borders 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@twcnz3570 I admit that when metal first came out, I hated it. I had absolutely no idea what they were saying, so didn't realize it was as deep as it can be. As I crept up on 60, tho, I started to develop an appreciation for some, then I really learned the words of several of Rammstein's songs (Radio was first; awesome song, amazing lyrics & message!). I know there are lots of 60-somethings who are lifelong metal fans, & I'm having a blast coming to it late....lots to discover! I'm happy to admit I was totally wrong about. But I still gotta admit that if I ever met Till Lindemann I might hide under the bed...he's amazingly talented in so many ways, but something about him scares the fertilizer outta my inner wimp!
@@kellyhoward6941 try it with zhulu... my parents did learn it and africaans too, Ill never get it how they manage it
French audience singing in German... you, as Americans, may not understand but this is huge!!!
meuh non, c'est enfin le rassemblement de l'Empire de Charlemagne, 1200 ans plus tard, via une musique transcendante!^^
Given all the shit happening in the states, the old world may have to come to save the new. So Im glad that the old powers are together.
WW1 and WW2 ...... European people are more history savvy than Americans because Europe history is HALF American History
The song is writted in german, so what is huge?
@@llavero5 You'd have to know the history of World War I and World War II to understand why French in France, singing in German to a German band contains such an oddly unifying feeling at a concert. Millions and millions of dead.
Flake (the keyboardist), has ADHD and used to wander around the stage a lot. But given how much they use pyrotechnics, it's *extremely* important that you be standing in the right place at all times. In some of their other videos, they would do "skits" during the song, where Till (the lead singer) chases him around, sets him on fire (fake, basically magic tricks), etc. But they finally just gave him a treadmill so he could walk and stay where he's supposed to be at the same time.
If thats true its a new definition of brotherly love
Flake powers his synths in real time
❤
When Rammstein has a concert in Europe, there are 70 trucks carrying their equipment, the routes of the planes are diverted from that area, and the sound can be heard from a few kilometers. Till is completely dedicated to his music and if you see blood in the concert, it is usually real blood. His "sweat" is actually thermal protection because the heat from the flames is so great that he would have burns if he were not protected. Even the spectators who sit in the first 2-3 rows feel the warmth released by the flames. Flake, the one on the keyboard, asked at one point to have a treadmill during the concert so that he could consume his extra energy. Since then, he uses it in almost all concerts. The visual effects on the keyboard are added later to the post-editing but there were moments, including in this concert in which they used Tesla coils for effects, and those are really real. Anyway, a Rammstein concert is an event that will remain in your memory for the rest of your life.
French crowd singing back in German to a German band. I love music.
That`s only astonishing for Americans and the English. Europe moved on from WW2 but you`re still stucked in the past
@@ikelevermann1491 Any crowd singing back to a band in a different language is special.
@@josephking9337 Saved me? From what? I live in a US satelite state, lead by green leftists that flood europe with third world invaders. Saved me from what?
@@ikelevermann1491 You're chatting shit brother, look at their concerts in UK and US. Huge receptions and same deal as this one. I'm English myself so I can't speak for Americans, but I'd argue Germans and English get on exceptionally banter aside; both are germanic countries with a mutual love of alcohol haha
@@jamieeddolls5605 I know right. I got a english father and a german mother. Loving both countries is a helluva ride believe that. However as long as the english look at themself as islanders and not as mainlanders to Europe there is a rift. Cheers mate
Best live band on earh by far!! Rammstein Shows are a lifetime experience you will never forget. The Masters of fire and pyro and industrial metal (fusion heavy metal and electronic music). One of the most famous metal bands in the world with the same line up since over 25 years.
I saw them with korn ice cube & orgy. Before cell phones. Yeah I’ll never forget that night.
i live in NY and there’s a concert in Jersey in early September. You think it’s worth it? Should i go?
@@Dustyholes Of course. It could be the last time that you can witness a Rammstein concert in the US. Rammstein concerts are a lifetime experience you should not miss. Get a ticket. You will see for Example this: ua-cam.com/video/n8WQH5GRonE/v-deo.html
You can say that again. I put rammstein's stage up in Milton Keynes stadium in 2019 and it was a blast, not to mention how the show went.
@@Dustyholes yes. totally worth it
If you haven’t seen Rammstein live, you have not been to “the best concert I’ve ever seen” They are unmatched live.
I just went in Philadelphia. Best concert ever. Nothing will compare
I was there in Chicago. And it's absolutely true. No other concert can ever compare to Rammstein.
For myself, the exception is one of their influences, the Slovenian band Laibach.
Slipknot 4ever!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Butt Rammstein kicks ass🤘🏻
The best live performances in the whole wide world. Nothing comes even close to a Rammstein concert 🤟
Innovative, original, powerful & amazing pyrotechnics!! I love their style! The treadmill & keyboard with lightening is so tasty! Doesn't matter if ya know German or not - you can feel the music & energy! I'd love to go to a Rammstein concert! They are LIT! ✌️🎵❤
I like everything about Rammstein and how Christian resembled Tesla.
The lightning was put on afterwards 🤫
There isnt anything else quite like a rammstein concert 😎
Rammstein is the greatest live band on earth. React to some songs from the Madison Square Garden live. «Engel», «Ich Tu Dir Weh» or «Rammlied»
You are gonna be in for a treat on this one. It’s a love song, but in German so it sounds aggressive and the lead singer is a licensed pyrotechniction
No it isn´t a love song...it´s the opposite...it´s actually so to say a "break up song" and you can trust me in that because I´m a native German speaker. And that´s the only reason why it sounds aggressive... actually.
The German language doesn´t sound aggressive when spoken normal.
All those "German sounds aggressive vlogs" are all spoken highly overemphasized and often even yelled.
When English is yelled and additionally the words are overemphasized that will then sound aggressive as well.
@@michaelgrabner8977 Du Hast/Hasst mich.
@@ersguterjunge1415 Nein tue ich nicht, weder das eine noch das andere ;-D
@@michaelgrabner8977 Can you explain the word play? I only have high school German (and 40 years ago at that), but it sounds to me like
Du / You (singular), Du hasst / you hate, Du hasst mich / you hate me, Du hast mich gefragt / you asked me.
Am I close?
@@ianrayner7522 Yeah that is the wordplay. = making you think "hasst" was said.
It just sounds as like as "Du hasst" but actually it is "Du hast" but phonetically "hast" and "hasst" sounds the same..and when you just listen without seeing the text it isn´t to distinguish phonetically..only the context does, but the whole context isn´t offered as long the whole sentence isn´t finished. And the whole sentence wasn´t finished yet before the word "gefragt" was delivered.
It is kinda as like as I would say
My
My deer
My deer has
My deer has big
Till now hearing me say those words you probably might think I´m speaking about "my dear" instead of "my deer", right? and you might expect I will say something as like "My dear has big...".. "boobs" or what ever.
But then I will add the actual last word in order to finish the whole sentence and then the actual meaning becomes clear..
My deer has big antlers.
That´s the "kind of wordplay" which is played by Rammstein with the audience in the song by saying
Du
Du hast
Du hast mich
Du hast mich gefragt.
But I did a translation here in the comment section where I also explain the meaning of the song entirely.
If you ever get the chance to check out Rammstein in person, just go. It's so much fun.
Fun fact, this song was on How High and the first time I ever heard Rammstein. Took me about a decade after that movie before I ever listened to them again. Was kinda whatever about them till I heard this song again. Started listening again and loved every bit of their songs. So, How High (a movie you would never expect a Rammstein song to be in) made me a fan of this band and get into metal.
Stuff like this warms my heart. How different generations can appreciate each others music.
Saw Rammstein just before lockdown and seeing them again in June. Can Not Wait. Their gigs are amazing - the pyrotechnics are awesome.
Most of the younger people oversee the fact that there is a big audience in Paris/France singing a song in german. When I grew up - I am born in 63 in Germany - this would have been unthinkable. Isn't it fantastic how the people in Europe come closer to each other?
I think music (mostly rock n roll) had a big part in bringing people not only in Europe but the World closer together , surely did more than politics or any religion has ever done
They are the best live!! Already saw them 3 times and this summer for will be the 4th!
There's no feeling quite like the energy the flows through you during a great concert! Being a small piece of such a large group of people all chanting the same thing. Insane. Love it!
I’ve been to their concert and yes they put on one of the greatest performances
A German Band, singing German on a Concert in Paris and all the People sing German, Goosebumps all over.
The Treadmill can be moved. sometimes he walks in a other direction.
All of their live performances are great. Especially live in Paris or Madison Square Garden
Totally agreed with you my friend, I just want to kindly add also the concerts in Moscow and St. Peterbourgh are outstanding. These guys have a part of Russia in their hearts and they are loving to perform there. TIll also had many performances with his group - Lindemann
One of my favourite bands. Their concerts are insane!!!!
The singer, Till Lindeman is a certified pyrotechnician.
AWWWWWWWSOME. Love Rammstien. This is my favourite song.
The guy on the keyboard has an issue with hyperactivity. He couldn't stand still long time so the treadmill was the solution that he can walk during the concert without problems.
Rammstein sing in their native German language, and use a lot of pyro 🔥 🎆in their stage shows... the band was formed in the 90's... 'Du hast' was the single from their 2nd album 'Sehnsucht' in 1997, that got them MTV airplay in 1998 and that record sold platinum in the US (1 million copies) People who think that the fire 🔥 in their concerts isn't real... I can assure u, having seen Rammstein twice in concert, that it is real...
More Rammstein songs ... 'Engel' ... 'Amerika' ... 'Herzeleid' ... 'Mein teil' ... 'Ich will' ... 'Links 2-3-4' ... 'Deutschland' ... 'Sonne'... 🤘🤘
I know nothing about this band, but I read someone's comment elsewhere that said the singer looks greasy and dirty because he's covered in some sort of gel that will protect him from getting burned. Is that correct?
@@JPMadden U are correct. Flame retardant gel.
@@JPMadden yes
They are a very creative band and they always put on a good show. No-one can say they don't put the effort in
Check out Rammlied (Rammsong) used a lot of time for their concert openers and really gets you pumped, Ich Tu Dir Weh (translates to "I Hurt You") and Engel (Angel) or really any of their songs. If you like the fire then there isn't a better one than Feuer Frei (Fire at will..)
I learned (some) German, just from listening to their albums on repeat because they're just so listenable and good. Their shows are legit the most insane and brilliant you'll ever see. It's like if Michael Bay designs the pyrotechnics display. Their 'Live in Berlin' performance from back in '98 is still impressive. Lead vocalist's ex-wife left him and married one of the guitarists and they still play together. The other guitarist has a Doctorate.
Love to see you going international ❤️
Could you react to High Rated Gabru. 🔥 song and 🔥 dancing
They got 2 music videos so hope you get the right one
The lyrics is absolutely amazing too.
If you don’t know Rammstein you really don’t know anything about Rock 🤟
I get goose bumps even from this. Hope I can be there one day.
Nice reaction! My favorite part: "Is he on a treadmill?"...everytime and never gets old.
good music is universal. even if you don’t know what they’re saying, you can feel it 🤘🏻 i have music in a bunch of languages i don’t understand that i love.
I’m a big metal fan. This is like rock, so I’m shocked I’ve never listened to them.. they showed out in this video. So much interaction! Flare guns and shit. Awesome
this definitely isn't rock, rock is pretty light. This is industrial metal
In high school I took German as my second language because of this band.
First time I heard Rammstein I was watching David Lynch's Lost Highway. Only 2 songs in that movie. Drove 300 miles to Seattle to buy couple of their cd's. Unique band.
Following an accident in Berlin on 27 September 1996, in which some burning decorative parts of the stage collapsed, the band started using professionals to handle the pyrotechnics. Till Lindemann (lead singer) subsequently qualified as a licensed pyrotechnician.
Another fun fact ... In 1978, Till Lindemann participated in the European Junior Swimming Championships in Florence, finishing 11th in the 1500 m freestyle and 7th in the 400 m freestyle, swimming a time of 4'17"58; he was shortlisted to go to the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, but left the sport due to an injury.
Du, Du hast ,Du hast Mich = You , You have , You have Me
Till, the singer is a certified pyro tech. their concerts are always amazing.
Love how the crowd sang 1/2 the song. That is amazing participation
I mean theyve done this song so many damn times since 1997 you may as well let the crowd take a bit of the work off your shoulders
Can’t wait to see them live this summer. Long live RAMMSTEIN
I remember one Rammstein concert when the keyboard guy was on a kayak sailing over the people 🤣🤣🤣🤣🛶
These guys are absolutely insane live...the lead singer is a pyrotechnics specialist.. their show is truly a "Show" along with the awesome music.
i love hearing the "pop" that this song gets at Rammsteins shows, this is a badass song❤️
"You Got Me" Also the big guy singing is an official pyrotechnician. He designed the fireworks!!
More Rammstein please! They are a phenomenal band!
1st time I've ever seen or heard anything from these guys myself. Like the guitar riff.
I saw these guys at Clutch Cargo's in Pontiac MI in 2002. Most intense concert I've ever been to.
Unreal experience going to their concert.
Yeah... That is a treadmill... The best part is that by the end of this show, the dude is at an all out sprint on it while still being able to maintain his performance on the keys.
JAJAJA every single reaction on youtube of Du Hast video, everyone rewind the pyro moment 🤟🏽
Geht zum Konzert und überzeugt euch , bei RAMMSTEIN ist alles real.
If you tier bands. Very, Very, VERY few are Rammstein tier. Arguably THE BIGGEST BAND IN THE WORLD. Yes, even over bands like Metallica and Slipknot. They sell out stadiums all over this blue and green marble.
The live shows are unmatched. The energy is unmatched. You don't need to know the language to really "get it." You just feel it. This is house work or workout music at its best.
Rammstein is wild, they give zero fucks. No music video is the same. They'll do some shit on stage that you'll wonder, what in the actual fuck? If you do videos, grey them out, I see people get strikes fast with this band. Be careful with "Buch Dich" live.
They have so many good songs to react to.
Engel

Basically, if they do it live. It's a song you want to hear.
*Deutschland
*Mein Herz brennt
*Ich tu dir weh
*Feuer frei
Is my dream to go to rammstein concert but one day for sure so many songs that I like they pump me up at work
Some say the pyrotechnics in the videos are CGI because they just can't believe a band would set the stage on fire. But as many Rammstein fans know the fire is very, very real.
I did 1.5 my weight on the bench and an 8-pack on that music in my 20s :D Rammstein and Roy Jones Jr. Can't Be Touched! Fire!
Oh yeah ya hit the jackpot now, best live band in the world. So many live videos to react to 🔥🔥
One of my favorite bands! Please check out the song Engel- live at Madison Square Garden. Just awesome!
You guys should react to the Rammstein song "Sonne" but make sure its the official video. You will like it. Great song and a cool video once you figure out what its about.
Bro Ramstein isn't really my type of Music but everybody knows him he's crazy with his shows and idk why the whole world knows him.
Maybe because he's a really nice guy and a deep lyricist but crazy to see people react to that and still kinda vibe 😂
Laugh my ass of reaction you to him 😂😂😂😂
It's "them" not "him". The gut you refer to is called Till Lindemann, the lead singer. Rammstein is actuallty named after the German US Airbase Ramstein where a horific plance crash happened during a flight sho in 1988 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramstein_air_show_disaster. Today the US only uses the base for illegal activities like drone-strikes (often un civilians, because ... shoot first, ask later).
Who asked?
@@jaw5014 You're welcome.
They came out to LA in October it was my first concert and it was the most amazing thing ever I love this band so much
Absolutely amazing band live, I’m sure you’ll see a lot of suggestions for songs to react to from them live and I’ll just say none of them are wrong.
You really need to check out the original video, it makes it a bit clearer what it's about, basically "bro's before ho's" kinda theme. Other good videos (they're all good though) are Sonne, Ohne Dich, and Radio. Start with those, but if you watch "Deutschland", watch it last, it's EPIC. It's amazing, and blows most music videos out of the water.
His name is Christian Lorenz better known by his stage name “Flake” and the reason he is on a treadmill is because he suffers with stage nerves and would always walk around the stage sometimes on to the pyros which put his life at risk. So they came up with the idea of the treadmill to keep him in one place but still moving. And Till Lindermann is a qualified Pyrotechnition.
Also him hitting his knee is known as the Till Hammer and came around when back in the day he dislocated his knee and would hammer it back in on stage
A little heads up on the lyrics... He plays with the word hast/hasst, english have(has)/hate.
You have, you have sounds like you hate, you hate. Later even: Du hast mich (you have ... me) vs Du hasst mich (you hate me)
You have asked me, and I said nothing...
Refrain is basically the wedding vow about being faithful all the time... And the backing choir sings "No!"
They are pretty smart guys, who see it as their job, to offer the best show they can give you.
The guy is a genius. ...love alternative music....
Du Hast translates to You Hate Me there’s a version of the song that was released in the US where it sings in both English and German.
another great thing is the lead singer was born in the DDR (East Germany) and was going to take part in the 1980 olympic games swimming contest but during another contest he snuck out of a hotel to get a Playboy magazine and after they found out he was cut from the team because they where not allowed to leave the hotel
My dad is Mexican (only speaks Spanish but he kinda understands English) lol the first time he saw n heard Rammstein was when he was watching XXX (a move with Vin Diesel) he plays this song at least once a day . His favorite band is KISS . Lol
Seeing them live is something I’ll never forget! I feel bad for those who will only experience it through video. I should add that it gets really hot at the front!
This song came out in the late 90s when the industrial music scene hit. You had groups like Rammstein, Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and when you went to last clubs this was all you’d hear.
YES FINALLY
I saw them on this tour. I was close enough to the stage that it looked like I had a bad sunburn on my face the next day.
One can watch vids on Rammstein all day long. And still not get what it was to see these guys live IRL. Aside from the music. Their pyrotechnics were insane. If you get the chance watch feuer frei. And see these dudes wearing headset flamethrowers. No joke. Sh1t was insane. Also the lyrics roughly translate to: you hate me, and you don't even know me. ish.
love this band, they are fire 😉
So far the best live is "Sonne" live 2019 multicam, they have improved a LOT since this 2012 concert🤭
I love your reaction to Rammstein, they are one of my favorite groups.
This is popularly regarded as a subgenre of metal called "Industrial Rock" or "Industrial Metal".
Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, Tool along with Rammstein are among the most popular bands in that genre. Ministry was pretty much the pioneer of this style.
The song is basic wedding vows but he’s saying no, I won’t love you until death.
Rammstein is one of those bands you have to see live before you die.....its insane
Excellent reaction as soon as one of the many wonders of the Rammstein concerts begins now react to Wollt Ihr Das Bety un Flammen Sehen live un Paris
all these reaction videos.. notices the treadmill :) Seeing Rammstein, is a musical :D
I like how her smile was growing by the minute.^^

"That shit fire!" yep, exactly! 🤣🤘🤘
Yes, he is on a treadmill. 😊
Mann Gegann Mann - Rammstein live in Paris is even more littttt
Best live band you will ever see, thanks guys
I love Rammstein! Thank you. Now try The Hu "Wolf Totem" (official video) to hear Mongolian Throat Singing meet rock, with traditional instruments and an ancient battle song.
THIS^^^^
Lyrics are ambiguous:
DU (You)
DU HAST/DU HASST (You have/ you hate)
DU HAS(S)T MICH (You have me/ You hate me)
That's the hook line, people are chanting.
The end goes:
DU HAST MICH GEFRAGT (You asked me) x 2
UND ICH HAB' NICHTS GESAGT (and I didn't say anything)
I've seen them perform this song live, and it is INSANE
Hearing them live is even better, legends. music most certainly transcends language. Till Lindemann in the beginning is performing the Till Hammer, his signature dance and he is also a qualified pyrotechnician, so dope.
If you want a cinematic masterpiece from Rammstein, check out "Deutschland".
Germans are astonished and shocked, that the French sang it loud in german, imagine that! Germans and French were never big friends as neighbours, so this is very amazing. Maybe because many French also fell their partly german roots - the name France (or Frankreich in german), comes from the invasion of France bei many german tribes, and one of them were the Franks (or Franken in german)...
By the way... americans and britons have also roots of 4 german tribes that invaded England (anglosaxon & wilts and jüten), and they like Rammstein too, singing it loud!
Very impressive... you see again how music with rythm can be an international connecting language.
not sure if this has been posted, but, First, du hast means “you have” in German. However, this is a homonym for the phrase “du hasst” which means “you hate.” This gives the song a double meaning, as the lyrics could either mean that the person he is singing to has him or hates him.
also, love your videos reactions
The lead singer is a certified pyrotechnitian as well. He sets up all the flame/pyro for their set 🤙👏
