You need to make....55 BURGERS, 55 FRIES, 55 TACOS, 55 PIES, 55 COKES, 100 TATER TOTS, 100 PIZZAS, 100 TENDERS, 100 MEATBALLS, 100 COFFEES, 55 WINGS, 55 SHAKES, 55 PANCAKES, 55 PASTAS, 55 PEPPERS AND 155 TATERS
Could even partner with a nonprofit to distribute the food to those in need. Would be an awesome Babish makes the world a better place episode
“And a large soda”
This is such a fun idea to do at a soup kitchen or something, maybe for a nonprofit, just for sillies to celebrate the Emmy noms for the bear and help some people to get hot food for free
I swear if babish tries to make it look fake..
And pay it forward to the next person!
Everyone is saying to do the desserts Marcus made. But i would love to see you try the Seven Fishes dinner the mom makes in the Christmas flashback.
Yeah then the reimagining they did on opening night, that plating looked insane
Gotta save it for xmas.
Only if the whole staff gets involved and it spirals out of control. For accuracy
@@theragingrodent__not only the plating: Carmy conceived 7 different fishes w/ different textures and different prep times, which is batshit nuts unless maybe you’re already a sushi veteran who then stages at Le Bernadin for years 😳
I’m still traumatized by that episode. Great acting, high anxiety for watchers
Only detail missed was the fact Syd used Sour Cream and Onion chips, not Black Pepper. Quality as always though.
You can probably switch out what kind of chips you want to use.
@@jacobschmidt2771that's not what this show is about
i guess its a botched by babish episode coming lol
I came here to comment the same thing. how embarrassing for him
Thank you! Someone had to say it, haha!
Would love to see you make Marcus' weird tiny fancy dessert he made a bunch of times! Those tiny fancy rich people foods always baffle me
you may be talking about the ice cream. i could be wrong but i feel like if you were to go to copenhagen or anywhere a dish originates from you could get some sort of version of it for relatively cheap
@@-kieranI live in Denmark and trust me you cannot get anything for cheap in copenhagen
@@BingoBosnia see i was wrong
He put caviar on ice cream…unforgivable
That's how they stay thin, portion control.
Honestly, everything I've seen on The Bear has seemed like it would rock HARD, so I'm going to suggest a little mini-series, 'Bear-ing with Babish' or something, dedicated to ALL the dishes from the show. You can do it.
Vouch, I would watch them ALL
Next has to be the savory cannolis! Or just do a The Bear special and do those, 7 fishes….and whatever else
hard agree! i want to try rhe savory cannolis so bad😭
I completely agree! The savory cannoli's, for sureee
I sat down for a bit after that episode and thought out how I'd do what they discussed. It wouldn't really be that difficult. Likely the most involved part would be rolling the parmesan frico into a cannoli shell. And that's not that hard, just very time sensitive.
I came to say The Michael as well
Bear with Babish
Syd stated when she spoke to Bear about the omelette later in the episode that she used sour cream and onion flavored chips, the wavy kind.
“type with the ridges”
I’m drooling.
her blushing when she was complimented on how amazing the omelette was was the most genuine reaction I've ever noticed in a show period
I legit wanna see everything from this season of The Bear get cooked, I can't choose! But if I had to pick, it'd be the gourmet deep dish and the cotton candy bonsai tree melty thing from Chef Terry's restaurant.
Would love to see you recreate either Marcus’ Copenhagen dessert or the gourmet Chicago deep dish pizza from Ritchie’s episode!
I agree with the gourmet Pequod's dish.
Bingo. That's the one.
Pequod''s? I think you just have to break down and go to Chicago.
dessert*
is it the minty snickers bar thingy?
Syd always kills it with her dishes
The Bear is an incredible show with so many dish possibilities.
I knew you'd get to The Bear at some point. This new season deserves a ton of Emmys. Maybe another one for Jeremy Allen White too?
He already did a Bear episode earlier.
He was great this season too but I think Ebon Moss-Bachrach stole the show.
@@thisfooreallysaid Singing Taylor Swift to signify his character development? Oh man! I never thought that would work so well.
Banish did the cola braised short rib already.
@@amarmehta01 Well he has plenty of choices for this second season. Like The Menu when it comes to the variety.
Obviously, we gotta get the savory cannoli, but the deconstructed deep dish pizza from the episode where Richie was working at the even fancier restaurant could be pretty neat too.
Him pausing to remind the audience to do whatever they want when making your own stuff was wonderful.
Chicago Italian Beef, I feel, is the unsung hero of Chicago food. Would love to see you take that on!
Marcus's Copenhagen dessert trio, Richie's deep dish pizza (even though he technically didn't make it, lol), The Seven Fishes dinner, Sydney's breakfast sandwich, and Carmy's bolognese.
I’d love to see you make Sydney’s breakfast sandwich from episode 3 of season 2.
You can get that at Kasma in Chicago. Real place that makes an amazing breakfast sandwich.
Would be cool to see the Copenhagen desserts- what about the minty snickers bar dessert? That'd be amazing :)
I just made this while watching the season 2 finale. It was wonderful. I made a few different omelettes for my parents and myself. One thing I found was I got the best results when I had the heat slightly higher than what I thought I needed at first. It just helped the omelette hold together, but not add any colour.
This just made me want to go watch Jacques Pepin make an omlette. The absolute master of it.
I thought the same!
He makes it look so effortless it's insane. It took me like literally 30 hours of trying omelettes every morning to even get close to making a decent french omelette lol
i was waiting for that shoutout. it never came.
just watch out for people to WEL AKSHUALLY about Jacques' use of a fork on a nonstick pan
@@trodamus Lol Jacques could use a belt sander on a non stick and I'll still trust his omlette over any of those UA-camrs. He's the King for a reason. That was a carbon steel pan too not a Teflon. Goes to show them.
When watching this scene I thought can't wait to see Binging with Babish make this. Thank you.
A week long series of the Christmas dinner. You can do it! Was a great season 🍻
i really wanna see babish do the whole "twelve different plum preparations" dish
As a brazilian, we use potato chips in regular food in many tradicional dishes, but in the shoestring form. The moast famous its our version of Stroganoff and I highly recommend to this community to look up.
When I went to Brazil I had one of the best burgers ever with those chips (and and an egg)
Knowing Babish I'm surprised he didn't make up his own chips brand just for the video
When will people ever learn & realize that his name is not Babish?
Because it's clearly Binging
lol
@@SquidwardLSDSquirtingOctopussy I call him babbyface in this household 😅
He did make his own chips, though.
My daughter Zoe (4) loves watching you Babish, we watch every night, her favourites are desserts. She would like you to do more dessert episodes. She even picked up the habit of the hand wave of the foods extra food.
Would love to see the episode 10 full tasting menu.
That omelette was sheer perfection. I love making French omelettes that are a bit more well-cooked than traditional ones, and that looked exactly like my preferred omelette. It was so smooth. Such a great dish.
Binged watched two seasons of The Bear in a week.
One of Marcus's desserts would be nice if you guys could recreate it.
I'm happy to see a French omelet that isn't runny. I was losing my mind watching huge name chefs cut their omelets to reveal an interior as liquid as it was when added to the pan.
A French omelette is supposed to be a little runny inside. That's like the point of the thing.
It's pretty much the same style as old fashioned, but it's sadder looking
Patiently waiting for the Botched episode with the sour cream and onion chips 😆
Other than that top notch episode as always!
I’d love to see the Chicken Piccata from S1, looked quite delectable.
Feast of 7 Fishes, and then try to throw a fork and have it stick in the cannolis 😂
That omelet from the bear is legit amazing. It's actually very easy to make well! Made it myself the other night (using Borsin, sour cream & onion chips + fresh chives) & was blown away. From now on, I will always use a strainer to whisk my eggs through. Seriously, make this at home, it's insanely yummy.
I adore José Andrés and have cooked through half of his cookbook recipes. I was so glad to see you include his tortilla española recipe (with chips).
Maybe you could try to make a more classical "Tortilla de patatas" in the Basics series, it is a really simple, technique-driven and yummy dish to make
Way to keep up, I thoroughly enjoyed this second season!!
Try making that weird dish with concord grapes and veal stock they kept talking about. There were at least 2 conversations between Syd and Carm about it, and I still have no idea what it actually is.
Glad to see some South Side Chicago rep.
When you go from savory to sweet, may I recommend red velvet cupcakes with ube frosting (Marcy's fave) from Amphibia? You've tackled ube at least twice on the series but I always found it a strange combination given the flavor profiles. Just make sure not to eat the wrapper.
The Bear is a masterpiece. This new season especially.
Felt nice having another binging episode coming out on my birthday.
Thank You! I was searching for this recipe ❤
I really wanna thank you. After watching the episode i really wanted to try and make the omelette. Gonna try it someday.
I’ve never had a French omelette before but man that looks delicious
Gotta be the deep dish pizza dish from S2 Episode 7!... My absolute favorite episode from the entire series. Was great to see Richie's transformation! Quickly went from the character I kept hoping would be fired to my favorite on the show!
Little pro tip for making the tortilla espanola, flip it into a preheated frying pan instead of onto a plate so that you dont mess up the whole thing trying to get it back into the pan
I love this tip! I also love the dish. I'm not sure if I'd like it with the chips. I make it with diced (sometimes sliced) Yukon Gold potatoes (I use that variety for everything) & lots of garlic 😋
So you're saying have two pans fired up so you can just flip it directly into the second? Idk if I'm understanding it correctly.
@@zeroThreeSixHDSounds to me like that's exactly what he's suggesting.
Thank you for using the mandolin safety holder thing. It's the first mandolin usage footage I didn't have to look away from!
Would love to see the savory cannoli!
You should do the whole Christmas feast including the seven fishes!
I really want to see The Michael- the savory parmesan pistachio cannoli
I made this several times. I could literally eat this every day.
I remember Kenji doing a salt and pepper potato chip tortilla a few years ago. This video, like Kenji’s, made me miss my grandma’s potato omelette.
"The cut-proof gloves proved not be very cut-proof" this killed me
I was just about to mention trying potato chips in the eggs before cooking but he already did it.... That looks amazing. ❤
Growing up, my mom would make eggs with Ruffles, bacon bits and chives. It's still my go-to fall breakfast.
For a better "tortilla española" use the version that is made in some parts of Spain that adds red chorizo pieces in the mix. It is great.
OH NO. DO. NOT. MENTION. CHORIZO. Not on a yankie chanel!! D: Don't summon the beast!!! (But yeah, the-one-who-shall-not-be-named works great, also small dices of bacon and havarti cheese on the mixture are wonderful).
I just finished season 2 and told myself I need to make that
I would love to see you make the seven fishes dish and the savory cannolis!
Please make the Brisket that appear in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur episode, "Today I am a Woman"
For some reason, Sidney’s scene made her become my favourite character. I don’t even like omelettes that much. There’s something about the scene that’s so serene, it touched my heart.
Love that scene. Even when she describes it later she shows a true joy from creativity and cooking.
Great idea for a vid. I want to make this omelette, and it's great to have a vid going into more detail on the process.
Definitely want to see the savory Canoli!
After watching the episode, ‘Fishes’, even though I’m not sure it’s possible, especially seeing how stressed out Donna (Jamie Lee Curtis) was when making it, I really like to see you attempt to do the Feast of the Seven Fishes.
When i saw this last night i said Babish you gotta make this for us, and sure enough
That tortilla was actually nice :O although you forgot to introduce the never-ending battle between adding onion or not to a spanish tortilla :D
I love onion, but I've never tried it in a Spanish tortilla. I'll have to try it. I do love a lot of garlic in it though.
I KNEW you'd do an episode about this dish as soon as I saw her make it on the show.
Need the savory cannoli
I made the omelet before watching this - I can’t wait to try what you did
This is amazing. Will have to try this out
Surprised you didn't go with the Sour Cream and Onion chips that they specified in the show :)
I'd love to see Syd's breakfast sandwich, the minty snickers bar from Copenhagen AND the 7 Fishes Christmas Eve dinner.
I made homemade chips in an air fryer and it was the best bag of chips I've had in a long time.
I actually tried crushed tortilla chips in my omelette and it worked out pretty well
Waiting for The Bear's marketing team to do an actual pop-up restaurant in Chicago with recipes from the show.
Please make the savory cannoli they came up with. That thing sounds fantastic
Please make the Gummy Breakfast Burrito from Brooklyn Nine Nine and Andy’s Mouth Surprise (Skittle Sandwich) from Parks and Recreation!
I tried the sieve trick the next day after watching the episode. It was aweomse
There are so many you have to do from that amazing show. That Fishes episode was crazyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
so ironic to come across this video. i just bought bousin cheese, chives, chips and am currently researching french omelet techniques Because if this episode of the bear! ❤
Oh please please please recreate The Bear's version of the seven fishes in one plate. That looked absolutely FABULOUS
The way you incorporated the chips in your version is basically a spanish omelette, which are also great
How many omelets have you made
At least 2
Yea
these look amazing
Exactly what we need .. thanks babish 🙏
Happy 4th from Rochachachachester NY!
These cooking videos always makeing me hungry.
The next time I make an omelet, I'm going to try making it like that!
The Bear??? I'm still waiting on Coconut Curry Tapenade with Toast Points from the seminal masterpiece, The A-Team. I love it when a dish comes together!
Pretty sure the chips were sour cream and onion
yep. would have added a really nice tang, too
you gotta do the 7 fishes! came from the best episode from the bear.
I’m really greatful for this video!!! Wanted so bad to make these when I watched the show but wasn’t sure how to
I made something similar, baveuse french omelette in brown butter with a filling of cream cheese mixed with melted swiss cheese, garlic, some fried onions and a little celery salt, topped with chives and a few garlic chips.
my wife and I have been making this omelet since binging the show and it never disappoints
Was waiting for this one tbh. Amazing💥
The savory cannoli! Parmesan shell, mortadella mousse, pistachio
When my mum made quiche she always topped with crushed potato chips. It was fantatstic
Andy is the babishist in the BCU!! 😮 I love it when we get multiple recipes even from simple ingredients bravissimo if you will🎉
A Margie's sundae, Pequod's deep dish, Kasama's breakfast sandwich with longaniza and Ever's caviar with honeydew melon and hazelnut
You gotta do the plum dish! Also you could try to recreate the elements dish that chef syd tried. The tasting menu of course would be great
