Botched by Babish is a really great series because it reminds the viewers that he can sometimes feign being human and making mistakes, against the internal coding of his android body.

Been watching since the Philly from Creed, and I'm stoked that you're still going. Not to get too sentimental, but your channel is what gave me the inspiration to make silly things like this at home and making them way better than a store ever could. Thanks Babish!

I've said it once, and I will continue to say it every time. Botched is my favorite series in the Babish Culinary Universe. So wacky. Thanks, to Andrew and the rest of the team for the hard work.
I laughed through this entire video to the point that my children came over to see what I was watching. It was about that time that Babish started talking about ribbing his meat and lubing his silicone.
this really makes me appreciate all the scripting that goes into the regular episodes, also i appreciate boiling a patty in BBQ sauce, why i never thought of that
Every time I rewatch this I get blindsided by Babish-in-8th-grade story time, and every time I'm astonished that his friend's mom saying they can't hang out any more *actually* led to them not hanging out anymore. If any of my 8th grade buddies' parents had tried to tell us who we couldn't hang out with, it would have instantly become our mission to spend as much time together unsupervised as possible.
I had a McRib like 2 days ago and I can say with absolute certainty that it had rosemary as a flavoring in the patty. It was pretty much the only flavor to be found in the meat itself. Definitely add rosemary to your homemade version, imo.

So just some extra info on the McRib, the patties are ribbed on one side, flat on the other and come frozen but are pre-cooked. They're "cooked" on a clamshell grill long enough to heat up and brown and then (back in the day) are stored in a stainless steel container with the sauce that's heated by a water bath which has to be better than the plastic container in a holding cabinet I'd think. The buns are also toasted before assembly.
Andrew's villain origin story was an unexpected turn in this video about making a pork sandwich
I feel like the tomato sauce in the cast iron sealed it for me
It involves dark butchery for sure. That was what turned him
