Do you guys not understand that the reason the fps is so low on tokyo maruis is because of Japans fps restrictions? Then again TMs are the most high quality and upgradeable guns on the market.
Jokes on you, my sniper is as loud as possible so they don’t know where I am cause I’m everywhere! Actually I just want to save up enough money for a SRS as my first and only sniper.

@@Himmy12345 Unless you're experienced in the sport and specifically on your local field, it's best advised to not get into sniping until you're older. Setting aside the increased length (a VSR-10 is about a solid 10 inches longer than a fully extended M4A1, meaning you have to stretch your arms out further to support the weight), sniping in real life requires more patience and familiarity with your surroundings to be successful (compared to video games, especially casual arena shooters like CoD or Fortnite). Something as simple as "a leaf got in the way" can make the difference between killing and being killed
@@evikecomif I may ask, what's a good set of ww2 japanese airsoft weapons? I want to make a ww2 Japanese and American set, and i kind of have an idea in terms of the american set. but i have no idea on the japanese set.
I started sniping as a 10 year AEG tech with the ASG sportline M40A3. I thought for sure with my knowledge I could turn it into a sick sniper. and I did by upgrading the spring and R-hopping the barrel and modifying the stock hop-up chamber with the eraser mod. It was matching ranges with $1000+ VSR10s and still cost me less than $100. However, the downfall was the parts availability. the heavy M170 spring I was using wore out the stock plastic 45 degree piston and aftermarket pistons do NOT exist for the gun. So I "upgraded" to the JG BAR 10 and never looked back. since its only $25 more than the sportline M40A3, its a MUCH better value and for that reason alone, I would HIGHLY recommend the BAR 10 over the sportline to anyone looking to get into sniping. its almost insulting that the sportline is on his list and NOT the BAR 10 lol. if his #1 is the TM VSR10, then the BAR 10 should have been his #2 since all the parts are completely compatible.
True, it's the best VSR10 platform in that price range. Solid external quality, easy to upgrade and so on. Built several BAR10 with AA, Airsoftpro parts and so on. Always works (y)
The K98 would definitely be my number one. I have a few airsoft guns pretty much for collection purposes, and I made sure to buy 2 of the K98 with ejecting metal cartridges, they were expensive as hell but they're really really cool
When Airsoft was taking off here in Texas back in 2002/2003, I ran a simple APS-2 with a zero trigger, upgraded cylinder and hop up, and .30 BBs. Those were the days.
This rifle has lots of power ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL , hard recoil and a little heavier than expected which affects accuracy, especially when firing freehand or hunting small game. Really rough on sites, as it often moves inside mounting rings. Replaced sight with a UTG Bugbuster, which required medium height mounting rings, but improved accuracy while sighting in as shown in attached photo, at 20 yards using Gamo Match Diablo pellets at 7.56 grain. Nonetheless, I am still trying to figure out where to install the mounting rings on the scope to avoid it from sliding around, as it becomes misaligned after about 50 or 60 shots. Currently considering using heavier pellets at about 9 grain with different tips like the H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme or the Crosman Ultra Magnum to see if accuracy improves. Overall, I am having lots of fun with this rifle.
Had a DBoys Kar98K...still do...and used it a few times in freezing winter games until the whole chamber and bolt assembly ripped apart. It was around 10 years old. Did alright, even with the horrible "shells" to put the BBs in.
As someone who loves bolt action rifles, and bolt action airsoft sniper rifles the most I absolutely loved this list! :) just added a handful of new guns to my wishlist on the website.
Well, might finally take the plunge and go with one of these now. Getting old so could save some boot leather and hang at the back letting the youngsters have the breach and clear fun.
Would've definitely added the Ameoba Striker S2 as there's so much space for something like the Novritsch Suppressor to rival the G-spec in terms of sound report
Personally I'd go cyma 701b over the TM gspec. Cheap, you going to change parts anyway and if you don't up front at least it'll fire at 450 rather than 300. That's why the gspec is so much quieter, you don't get nearly the same thud from the piston hitting the cylinder head. Interesting over view though 👍👍
@@am37_SR but why is it, good. If it's cause it's quiet, so should a well tuned 701b. Is it cause it shoots far, and out of the box 701b will shoot further. Is it because it's well made, you're going to change all the parts anyway. Is it cause it's vsr, so is the 701b. Atm I see no reason to buy a gspec as they are no better and more expensive.
My WA2000 was expensive and it's heavy and weird to use because of the over-the-barrel bipod, but IT NEVER MISSES! And the real wood looks beautiful. I've seen videos of other people firing one and it's not just me, the thing is really accurate.
i’m so glad he said the VSR-10. like i wanted to say it’d be his #1, but i wasn’t sure because he had said some things ab the mag placement earlier, but im glad he did because it’s also my favorite
I have a CYMA VSR-10. I've been pretty impressed so far. Mine costed about $125 on Evike. Plus the extra maybe $100 give or take I spent on the scope, bipod, and mini red dot I put on top. I also bought a bore sight laser from Walmart to zero my scope so I didn't have to take apart the rifle to look down the barrel. Plus I can't forget the Arcturus ghillie suit and rifle wrap I got, completing my sniper loadout, COD4 All Ghillied Up style. Man am I glad I have a job.

Most important info to include in reviews: 1) Does it have a 90 degree trigger? 2) How accurate is it? (Show it shooting, include a "scope camp" view) 3) What FPS? 4) How well does the hopup work with ammo you'd actually use w/a sniper such as.40 BBs? How it looks, is not even in the top 5 important factors...
I have the amoeba striker as02 and the whole striker series is really good for a decent price depending on where you get it. I would definitely recommend it to be the top sniper
I have the asg m40a3 sport line and it’s only 80 it’s amazing! I’ve gotten so many kills with it and it’s dead on with .30 bbs and the hop up can shoot up to .45 is my experience
Don’t sleep on the Matrix Kar98k I can’t speak for the Tanaka works version but I have the Faux wood version from Matrix and it’s extremely accurate. Despite the stock sounding hollow it does have some nice weight to it which makes it feel a little more realistic. I just bought the Springfield Armory M1 Carbine so I’m waiting on that one to come next
Not to mention that my A1 is WAY quieter than that TM VSR10 Gspec. Sure, there are a few mods, like supressor and Airbrake, but Evike sells those upgrades too (when they are in stock).
My fafourite spring powerd sniper rivelm is the Airsoft Kar98k shell ejekting and in wood and metal. It's just so realistic that the shells get ejected once you pull that bolt backwards.
My number one favorite is the Striker, hands down. The second I get one, I plan to see if the shop I buy it from could do a quick mod to it to shorten the outer barrel to use a 430mm(standard vsr length) inner barrel instead of the 550mm it has stock. For one, it will increase the barrel compatibility and two, it will help it perform much better due to the much lower air volume. P.S. I really like these styles of videos and I think you should keep doing them and to make it really cool would be to have the same categories but different people to see the wide aray of interest of guns.
I have the Ares AW338 and it's awesome. It's nearly nonexistent because it's been discontinued for quite a while and they may be found if someone is selling theirs online. I've always wanted it since my childhood and now I was able to obtain it many years later.

Hey Matt, love your videos! I have a question on Bolt. The brand had a lot of reviews a long time ago and suddenly, there waa hardly any news on them. Looked for reviews on the brand and mostly came up negative. Could you do another review on the brand or share your thoughts on reliability and compare their recoil system with other brands?
What would help is stock FPS in your choices. Especially since you work for a vendor. And especially since they are sniper rifles, FPS is very important.
Thank you for the feedback. The FPS of each airsoft rifle is listed on our website. The link to each airsoft rifle is in the video description. The PID (product Identification Number) of each airsoft rifle is displayed in the video, which can be used as a search term on our website. Hope this helps! The VSR g-spec with the scorpion piston would be insanely quiet if that’s how quiet the stock g-spec is. If you put the scorpion piston in it god mode stealth 😎
The SRS should have been farther up on the list. The HTI is great but it’s a .50 and heavyyyy. The SRS comes in a variety of sizes, extremely versatile, tons of upgrades and a massive community to troubleshoot with. Also stupid quiet.
I just got into airsoft and have recently purchased the MB01 Shadow ops sniper, it only does 450 fps should i get the available upgrade kit or is it fine how it is (I got this all from evike)
I would say 450 FPS is perfect for a sniper don’t get anything higher unless you wanna get kicked off a field for making a little kid scream cause of how hard that’ll hit
i was assuming that you wouldn't put the ssg10 in the list due to competition with novritsch. Great you added it despite the company probably wishing he didn't. If you sold it. you would get a killing off of it.
Every high dollar airsoft gun I've ever owned had issues. All my cheap guns still work flawlessly, including my AK74 that I bought new for $50 over 10 years ago. Buy cheaper guns and just replace them when they break, which they will no matter how much you paid for it. Especially AEG's. I was forced to go back to springers on account of AEG's are way too problematic for me. I'm trying to have fun, not lose my s... over gun issues on the field.
On the berret the first one you showed the flash hider is actually the newer flash hider on the real berret firearms. And the flash hider on the alt is the old design

@@deadlywolf3017 the ssg10 has a bit of a different design in hop up chamber and has the hop up rings included, the ssg24 dose not. I own both so I would know. The rest of the gun yes I agree they are pretty much the same thing.
I have fired the AW338 or L96 sniper rifle with both lapua 338 and 7.67 ammo and I must say it's a very accurate sniper rifle seen kills from 2000,mtrs Accuracy International make a hell of a good rifle
Now to give him credit, there IS very few spring rifles that would be so or so satisfying
The go to SR for anyone at any stage would be the PDI M40a5. Factoring $/functionality
You missed the SSG 10a1
Matt: After about 50 or 60ft, your enemy won't even hear where you're shooting from
Also Matt: Silencers are the MOST USELESS airsoft attachment
Actually my favourite sniper in your list is the Tokyo marui m40a4 and the maple leaf mlc 338
Matt: this is the best sniper rifle, it's so silente
Me: *puts the novritsch suppressor on my ssg10*
Matt: *pikachu face*
Your #1 sniper is obviously the m200 intervention
Great video would love to get back into air soft again lost everything in a hurricane but the karr98 was one of my favorite rifles second only to my shotgun but they are all lost great video tho and gotta agree with all your choices
We are all sorry to hear about your loss. We hope you stay safe and keep airsofting with us!
Why no mention of the Action Army AAC T10? Possibility because its banned in the USA...
Its priced, great stock parts make for cheap upgrade, and it looks very sexy 👌
Honestly wish there was a Krag-Jørgensen bolt action airsoft gun.
And I have to admit I absolutely love my 3 ssg24s
Hey Matt, love your videos! I have a question on Bolt. The brand had a lot of reviews a long time ago and suddenly, there waa hardly any news on them.
Looked for reviews on the brand and mostly came up negative. Could you do another review on the brand or share your thoughts on reliability and compare their recoil system with other brands?
He probably loves the Barrett M 82 and I love it
vrs 10 tokyo marui makmybe n°1. lets see the vídeo 👍
i won, all top list feature that gun the best. its 200€ or similar in dollars but i dont like the style 🙈
Makes no sense how long I've waited for this video
Do lmg’s next please!
I think his number 1 is going to be the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Spec. Totally my first time watching this vid btw
SSG24 is a Snow Wolf based M24 with tigh bore inner barrel (6.01 i think), strong spring and custom outter bull barrel. Not worth the price to me...
From what I've seen the Novritsch SSG24 is the best so I think it should be 1. I think that and the VSR10 at number 2
I am lacking SRS here for sure. Put a silencer, mousefart piston and suddenly Gspec becomes super loud xD
Barrett’s are used as snipers but I am almost positive there classed as anti material rifles
Bruh I’ve been following you for 3 days idk why but you are hella cool and chill wish you nothing but the best 💪🏾🙏🏾👏🏽
I don't think SSG24 has a lot of upgrade parts available.
Reasons why I sold mine is because of very limited upgrades part.
The VSR g-spec with the scorpion piston would be insanely quiet if that’s how quiet the stock g-spec is. If you put the scorpion piston in it god mode stealth 😎
why aren't spring-powered Airsoft guns called Spring soft ? I'm half joking but seriously this is a question I have
Cause they're still Airsoft.
I just bought the Ares AW338, but it wasn't from Evike. Can't wait for it to arrive.
The SRS should have been farther up on the list. The HTI is great but it’s a .50 and heavyyyy. The SRS comes in a variety of sizes, extremely versatile, tons of upgrades and a massive community to troubleshoot with. Also stupid quiet.
Just got my ssga1 yesterday
i honestly think your talking out your arse with most of these but definitely some good picks
I just got into airsoft and have recently purchased the MB01 Shadow ops sniper, it only does 450 fps should i get the available upgrade kit or is it fine how it is (I got this all from evike)
I would say 450 FPS is perfect for a sniper don’t get anything higher unless you wanna get kicked off a field for making a little kid scream cause of how hard that’ll hit
arp 9 for sure
Im waiting for the airsoft sks
the ares m40a6 looks like the novritsch ssg10-A3 and the maple leaf MLC 338 looks like the ssg10-A2
i was assuming that you wouldn't put the ssg10 in the list due to competition with novritsch.
I'm trying to have fun, not lose my s... over gun issues on the field.
mine is a Frankenstein m700....the upgrade that i made is through carnivalizing other riffles, sorry not enough minerals.
'carnivalizing'... like did you put clown makeup on them? :p
(I think you mean cannibalize)
@@insipidoaf thank you for corecting me, its cannibal
Novritsch yeaa nice riffle
Matt, u talk about the desert tech hti but u forgot about it’s little brother, the srs.
Watching to see if the Cyma VSR is here
On the berret the first one you showed the flash hider is actually the newer flash hider on the real berret firearms. And the flash hider on the alt is the old design
The mauser karibiner 98 kurz (kar98k) wasn't actualy a sniper rifle but an infantry rifle. Although it was used as a sniper it wasn't the main purpose of the rifle
But what about the DSR-10 bo2 feels everytime I look at that thing
