- This is the one car we we're really hoping to see on our return to Santa Pod Raceway this year and it showed up! With twin 88mm turbos, a Chevy small block, nitrous, and freaking all-wheel-drive, this 1968 Camaro is truly a one of a kind and can get down on ANY surface!

2000 hp out of a old school looking small block is crazy
You said it lol. Looking.
Its all about the internals 💪🏼
Like old school N.R.E.( Nelson Racing Engines)
@@Bumblebee4788best Ferrari superchargers of all time!
No lol it’s pretty normal for a small block with 88’s
The 67/68 Camaros are my favorite. Used to have a 68 with a 402BBC and a T-10 4SPD. That car was putting down so much tq... I miss it. This is a wild build... I wonder if the car would fare better on a harder tire in the street though? It seems like the ultimate no prep setup to hurt some feelings. Great video KYLE and the rest of 1320... You guys keep me in the loop! Any chance you could do some VE content with some G8s, SSs, Caprice PPVs?? I have only seen a couple in your guys vids. Full FEATURE!!
402 are beasts! Used to have a '72 C20 'Burb that would chirp 16.5 wheels shifting into 2nd at full throttle, bone stock
@@RollinTwentySix Yeah it was a torquey engine. It came from a 1972 Monte Carlo SE which was limited production. But we had some MSD goodies, roller rockers, a nice cam and billet distributor on it, so it was a little more power than stock. The car went down on 29x10.5 bias plies and made some really good 1/4mile passes. It was a beast, especially that 4.56 eaton 12bolt rear. I had a lot of fun cutting my teeth on how to work on cars with that one.
Man…2000hp out of a small block is badass. Come on murica let’s get some more efi turbo sbcs😎
Great footage ... you never fail bringing the solid vids
Sean Stricklands Father
SISU!
You can see the rear end break on the last pass but he still managed to run a 191MPH. Wow.
Imaging this car on some big tires lol
@@sneezinhatchunfortunately with the all wheel drive you couldn’t run two different size tires front and back.
@@justinjacinto4350 Sure you can, you just have to change your gearing to match the tires.
@@justinjacinto4350 nonsense, just run big tires on all 4 corners ;)
@@Anubis78250 that sounds like it should make sense, but if the axles are spinning at two different RPM's i don't know if it is easy as just changing tire diameter
8:14 our Twin Turbo Cortina makes a little cameo ! We nearly run into the wall (60ft)
That AWD Camaro is unbelievable. We were pitted next to it, and every single time we walked past it, we had to keep stopping to have another look.. So unique. Also, it was amazing to have the 1320 guys at Santa Pod! 🏁
ah so thats yall and its a Cortina, i was literally sitting here like "oooo that little orange car sounds mean" nice car yall!
What is the color on the Cortina?
@DjSubstain hey, it's called Ipanema Brown. It's an Audi Colour
@geramieadair4247 hey! Thanks alot. Yer it's our Little race car. We have load of video on it on our channel. Even a video from this very weekend! Be cool if you checked it out 🏁
Do you know what transfer-case and front diff it has?
How often do you see ANY AWD vehicle on big slicks spin all 4!? That camaro is insane!
Ya normally its only diesels with their massive TQ.
Not much but Reese's r32 from Heat Treatments and Devin Schulz's Red Demon DSM to name a few :)
uh maybe the countless 2000 hp gtr's and skylines lol.
@@lennixsingh626 you're clearly clueless. If you watch, most of them only do rwd burnouts.
It’s all to do with the type of awd system and nothing to do with outright power or torque, most people don’t understand though.
This guy is a legend seems super genuine!
2000hp and not an LS! In fact, aside from the turbos and engine management, the engine and tranny are pretty old school!
This car is pretty awesome, and so are those Polish dudes... hope to see them back again.
Ls engines don’t like 2k plus at least not stock block.
@@zethloveless7238 umm, is there any small block that can handle 2000+hp from the factory?
@@Njazmo I meant the cast block itself not the internals. I believe you read that wrong 🧐.
The old school SBC made this even cooler.
Love to see more in-depth video of the 4WD drivetrain.
3:30 It all started with a Typhoon for sale. They cut off the Typhoon’s frame, welded it in place of the Camaro’s front subframe, and heavily re-enforced it. It runs the Typhoon T-case fitted to the end of a Rossler TH210 trans with a 10 inch Neal Chance Racing ProMod Bolt-Together Converter. Front axle is the Typhoon’s diff 3.08, Rear is 12 Bolt with Strange Spool, 3.08, 33 spline axles, VTG 3” chromoly driveshaft, Strange yokes, Spicer 1350’s. Stock Typhoon IFS with QA1’s.
@2JZLS what's the block and internals like?
Oh my god, that AWD camaro is so badass!
1320 coming in clutch, redemption footage. Deep dive on the awd camaro...dude!
Super fricking awesome
Hey you have 69 likes lol
YES! More videos of these guys' operation!!
If you can have them answer in Polish, and have a translator translate their answers given from Polish to the scientifically exact English, we will surely get better details of their setup and their trials and tribulations with this super cool car.
Excellent video!
That 2nd to last run he left like a scalded cat! 🤯
My favorite part about this whole video is when Kyle casually walks past and films the HST Audi TT, which has the record of the fastest AWD Audi in the world.
Wow roasts all 4 in burnout box. I thought it was gonna do the GTR back wheels first, then do front, then put back into awd, launch
That thing needs anti lag and a trans brake asap. 7.50s all day long.
It have it
@@Piotr94L Maybe a trans brake... But no antilag
Best wishes to that guy , I would love to see cars like that in USA
This car at War in the Woods!!! Needs to happen!!! 🤘
😂😂😂😂 yea i don't see that. It's all over the place on a prepped track.
@@fast97z24normally runs no prep in Poland
@@mk1kieran yea, on a runway. Quite the staunch difference between that and 6 foot wide lanes with grass between them at a shithole in the woods.
@@fast97z24true 😂
The '68 Camaro is a timeless piece of art.
So True man.....Poor ol Japes....they were still building bikes and Trying to build cars/trucks back then.
That dyno footage was insane such watching the whole car shift upwards and then relax as soon as it lets off , v8s are not my preference but this is what I love is absolutely amazing builds and the owners standing beside them 💪🏼
The company name is very fitting... "Materialmord", material murder :D
Got to be one of the coolest cars on 1320..
congrats 🎉 to the man who built it
Cleetus needs something like this in his fleet
Awesome job, Kyle and co:) I am from Poland and VTG is a stone throw from me, so this is just awesome and I have been watching 1320videos almost from the beginning when you had like 20.000 subs. BTW: Today there were new records set in Poland at Pila, I believe the record now belongs to a Monte Carlo or TransAm Pro Mod. You are welcome to Poland, Kyle and co. You could for example combine Warsaw Street Racing meets which are just CRAZY and also see Pila where the fastest cars in Poland run and also a lot of fast cars from other countries (Norway, Lithuania, Germany etc). Today was the last race of the season at Pila though. And btw: VTG also built a Crazy 4x4 Lada Niva with 1250 Awhp (LSX single turbo) which deserve it's own movie:D
Get your hands in the air for Poland 🇵🇱
This Camaro is amazing. But can we also talk about that Audi TT that ran a 7.41!?
That pocket rocket is something else😅
The traction and speed on that Audi was wild
ITS the HST full billet VR6 Turbo
So awesome to see this and see how alive and well racing is in Europe! This dude probably also speaks 4 languages.
For those asking as far as i know the running gear is basically from a GMC Typhoon.
Even though I read the title and deliberately clicked on this video, I still made an audible, “oh, shit!” when the front tires stared spinning in the beginning.
Shout out to the front axles lol
Been following this car for years, like to see the driveline
There was a 6 gen camaro doing mid 9s all motor! Did you see that one there?
Where can I find video ?
Pozdro panowie,dobra robota🔥
That car would be virtually unbeatable on everyday streets from a dig.
Don't call me uncultured.... Ive just watched an American team film a Polish dude race in the UK 😂
I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year... Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life. THANK YOU SCARLETT!
After watching about her on CNBC news I requested for her mentorship which turned out mind blowing, I made $27,000 so far trading
with her guidance
Great to see you people talking about her, This woman changed the lives of some of us here in Ottawa. Thank you
I love it when you guys focus on one unique car for these, Thanks!
I was waiting for something to break with all that traction.
And the weight transfer really took the traction off the front.
They did all they could - no shame in that.
This thing is probably a beast for what it was meant for-closer to No Prep as he mentioned.
Yeah, in alot of Europe they don't really have dedicated drag strips, they usually use closed down runways with little to no prep on concrete.
Yup, they just need a good bit less traction to run that on prep, I think they could get out of the hole pretty solid with skinnier tires, something that will give them a bigger window to get a little wheel speed out of the hole.
That track was way too sticky for that awd. Only if he could've switched to rwd it would've been awesome.❤
SRC was just saying in their last video it was a matter of time before someone builds a AWD hotrod like this and here you guys are posting a video on one. Would love to see this car on the streets.
It's already been built for 4 years lol. Might even be longer...
This is gonna be a problem. Like he was saying it’s simple math. 40 inches of grip vs 20. Someone will figure it out and then all the “no prep street racers” will try to ban them
In Polad we had drag AWD Vette like 20 years ago.
Google: VTG Corvette
@@MrImpalaRider AWD no prep cars proliferated in Brazil. Once it's given an egde for someone, many others followed suit
The man doesn’t speak very good English but he built something we can all understand.
Cool video. Cool guy and mechanic. Sure would like to peak under that machine. Thanks
This guy would be insane on hoonigan this vs that
That giant windmill at the end of the track is pushing all the cars backwards. Get rid of it and theyll go faster lol
What about that TT? 🤣🤣 if this has 2k Hp then the TT how much???
About the same. It has a billet vr6 used to have a liberty box think it’s dsg now
Those Audis are very capable 😂🔥🔥
@@4npushap352 it’s a full tube chassis car with a billet engine
Probably around similar power level but way lighter than the camaro. Camaro prob weighs close to 3800lbs with the AWD stuff.
@@rustysausage69 Audi is AWD too
Transfercase and front differential ??? Factory GM stuff... I wonder being he said 4L80 trans so maybe a NP149 with a 8.25"IFS maybe? Or just crazy custom stuff! Sweet car !
Nice/cool guy with an amazing cool build. Gotta love it
@1320 Video
You really should visit Paul from Materialmord Racing(the place where the dyno was). He has an insane GTR
How much would a build like this cost? The price of the car bone stock with all the aftermarket modifications and shop labor?
$200,000+???
Would be cool to throw that thing at a hill climb event like Pikes Peak! Or heck, rally that thing!
This would be an ideal Drag Week/Sick Week/RMRW car
This reminds me of all the oldschool VW Golf with AWD like the Turbo Gockel or the legendary Dahlbäck Golf. Tiny car, all wheel drive, huge power... 😎🤟
Damn, what a Gorgeous Camaro !! 👍👍😎
AND SHE'S AWD GUY'S 🤣🤙
Honestly such a awesome build.. I watched the hoonicorn race with 1400 hp on drifting tires and this is just amazing … love that it’s a Camaro also 😎😊
This car is definitely capable of doing crazy things it definitely just needs time
Definitely
All that hopping fucked that rear they need to have some sort of disconnect for for the transfer case to do rear wheel burnouts
Hope to see you guys out at bradenton for FL2K 🙌🏻
Bardzo dobrze! I’m an American living in the Aug and I run at Santa Pod when the weather cooperates (not much this last summer). I haven’t seen this car yet in person but hopefully they’ll be back next summer. Thanks for covering some good stuff from “The Pod.” Santa Pod used to be an old airfield during WW2 called, RAF Podington. The strip itself is located on what was the main runway. The 92d Bomb Group was stationed there flying 4 squadrons of B-17s. It was converted to the drag strip post-war and opened up officially in 1966. There’s a lot of history at this location.
V8?
2000HP?
68’ Camaro?
Twin Turbo?
All wheel drive?
These are something special when combined together…
♥️
I saw the wheel have sort of a wobble. Well at least this fella and his car made it through the pass. Definitely rooting for him to get the time he wants. What a interesting setup .
All his footage was stolen in
🦍modern-day London🦍 .
I would love to set my 3rd gen up like this, burnouts are sick asf
Dude taking his pet monster on a world tour, hell yeah
That’s the craziest chevy small block I’ve ever seen, what a car
Update - last Saturday in Piła a new Polish record of ET 7.41 was set / it is worth adding that another competitor achieved ET 7.46. Today Grzegorz is 3rd and Blacha is 4th in the Camaro.
Three things that proved AWD is what you need to put big HP numbers down to the ground: Jeep Trackhawk/AWD SRT Jeeps, Hoonicorn, AWD EVs
Dang those are going faster than what we have now ? Wait no they aren’t 😅.
These guys need some Hoonicorn parts.
Just made my day and my week with this upload 1320 !
“We want to install fleshlight” - I say go for it! 🎉
Small block chubby ftw
A beautiful master build and a work of mechanical art
Love the old-school fade too.
Super cool to see someone mentioning Drachten in Holland. We have a small but tight knit drag racing community here :)
An SBC with dual 88's is Fukin CRAZY!!! I would love to know what kind of crank n rods n maybe the CID# If at all possible. Absolutely SICK RIDE!!! I BoW to you CHEVY GOD👍
I want to see this car and the Hoonicorn go toe to toe on a strip!
Now that's fricken awesome!
God I love to see old car builds!!!
The vtg guys are fast af. The vtg Audi is nasty
500 ponies to each tire 🤔 😁 🚙. . . 💨 🚓
3:58 That is the most badass angry sideways insane burnout I've ever seen. OMG
we need a build breakdown of this car
Spinning all those large slicks with a old school small block making 2K HP. Wow, where do I start!? Love to see people who step outside the box.
What does he use for T-Case and front diff?
Kinda hoping Gareth watched this.
Love those burnouts
That'd be a pretty rad road trip, yous should definitely fly to Poland and shoot one of there no prep events. See our domestics done different. Could be rad.
7:34 imagine spending thousands of dollars, running thousands of passes, then seeing this out your left window 😮😮😮
Incredible build though, old school engines still got it boys!
My theory it might makes it slower on drag strips. But faster on the street. Since strip road already prep for stickiness. Nevertheless, it's nice build that I wonder the results too
There’s 2 things I absolutely love on this planet 1. Red light crispy creme donuts and 2. Super powerful all-wheel drive cars.
Will 1320 ever go to Gatebil?
If he can do that on a small block, imagine an SMX 👀👀👀
I shit myself when I seen it shifting itself
ONNA SMALL BLOCK YALL.......On a small block, that is amazing man its super cool seeing someone put that much power on a small block cause he could of easily gone with a ls make more power but nahh he went With a SBC and AWD, got nothing but respect for this man and his budies, keeping it oldschool (looking) but with some tech which i don't blame him but man this is amazing to see it happen :D
I wish I could see underneath it.
How much torque steer does it have? I'm so curious!
I want to see a build breakdown on that chassis/WOW!
That was so bad ass I've wonted to make my camaro awd ever sense I seen the 442 tyed to the poll in front of his shop I think at his home drive way so bad ass I love that car it's the cleanest car also he's a painter I think if I remember on another video 1 day I will do it it's the only way to make a boosted camaro hook on the street !! Especially over 35 to 40 psi 42 on a good day !!
Greeting from Poland.
