  • This is the one car we we're really hoping to see on our return to Santa Pod Raceway this year and it showed up! With twin 88mm turbos, a Chevy small block, nitrous, and freaking all-wheel-drive, this 1968 Camaro is truly a one of a kind and can get down on ANY surface!

The 67/68 Camaros are my favorite. Used to have a 68 with a 402BBC and a T-10 4SPD. That car was putting down so much tq... I miss it. This is a wild build... I wonder if the car would fare better on a harder tire in the street though? It seems like the ultimate no prep setup to hurt some feelings. Great video KYLE and the rest of 1320... You guys keep me in the loop! Any chance you could do some VE content with some G8s, SSs, Caprice PPVs?? I have only seen a couple in your guys vids. Full FEATURE!!

@@RollinTwentySix Yeah it was a torquey engine. It came from a 1972 Monte Carlo SE which was limited production. But we had some MSD goodies, roller rockers, a nice cam and billet distributor on it, so it was a little more power than stock. The car went down on 29x10.5 bias plies and made some really good 1/4mile passes. It was a beast, especially that 4.56 eaton 12bolt rear. I had a lot of fun cutting my teeth on how to work on cars with that one.

BTW: Today there were new records set in Poland at Pila, I believe the record now belongs to a Monte Carlo or TransAm Pro Mod. You are welcome to Poland, Kyle and co. You could for example combine Warsaw Street Racing meets which are just CRAZY and also see Pila where the fastest cars in Poland run and also a lot of fast cars from other countries (Norway, Lithuania, Germany etc). Today was the last race of the season at Pila though. And btw: VTG also built a Crazy 4x4 Lada Niva with 1250 Awhp (LSX single turbo) which deserve it's own movie:D

Thanks for covering some good stuff from “The Pod.” Santa Pod used to be an old airfield during WW2 called, RAF Podington. The strip itself is located on what was the main runway. The 92d Bomb Group was stationed there flying 4 squadrons of B-17s. It was converted to the drag strip post-war and opened up officially in 1966. There’s a lot of history at this location.

My theory it might makes it slower on drag strips. But faster on the street. Since strip road already prep for stickiness. Nevertheless, it's nice build that I wonder the results too

ONNA SMALL BLOCK YALL.......On a small block, that is amazing man its super cool seeing someone put that much power on a small block cause he could of easily gone with a ls make more power but nahh he went With a SBC and AWD, got nothing but respect for this man and his budies, keeping it oldschool (looking) but with some tech which i don't blame him but man this is amazing to see it happen :D
