- American Tuned is back and this time Rob Dahm meets Jessie Jewart - Texas-based builder of the NASROD, a hot-rod inspired by NASCAR racecars and assembled with some "redneck math." The NASROD has an LS motor, pushrod suspension and the capacity to put its copious, naturally aspirated power down to all four wheels to do a four-wheel burnout. That means double the burnouts and double the fun. Probably.

This one's engine is a damn monster, NA of 1000hp, figures the torque on that.
I do love NA engines, that's why I think the Viper is a modern marvel, with enough old style to make her the most beautiful in simplicity supercar.
And well, I'm happy that Rob Dahm was working for Top Gear, he is a guy who knows lots on cars, shoutout for the Rotary's saint!

Wouldn't have guessed a T56 could handle over a 1000HP, especially with AWD.
What spline and type of input shaft are you running on that t56? Gotta be viper stuff. I have the longest shaft with the most desired 1st gear but my trans was a crate trans, and my 4 banger 505 wheel Volvo wagon broke that input shaft shifting into 4th gear at 100mph with 19 by 235 on a stock volvo dana 30 rear, so I gotta ask, what did you do to that trans to hold that power? That's incredible, family! I think I saw this car driving in Arlington twice about 7 years ago, and was mesmorized by it. I'm in Houston now.Great job, great build, great video! Even if that Dahm guy is in it.
As soon as i saw Steve Morris engine, im in. The host never heard of steve morris? He makes bombproof turbo engines upto 5000hp

Would love to know what 4 wheel drive system was used in front that can easily handle the power for my 4 door 2nd gen S10 Blazer project
