Incredible reaction!!
I knew this song was dope when I was sitting at my dining room table listening to it, and as he started to sing the second verse, my wife comes in from the living room and stood behind me, watching and listening to it with me. Then my 14 year-old daughter comes in from her bedroom and stands behind me, watching and listening also.
Neither of them made a sound, just stood silently, listening..and watching.
When the song ended, I turned around and looked at them. The look on their faces I'll never forget...they were both blown away.
The best live performance in music history, in my opinion.

I met David Draiman when I was 17. He yanked me by the neck in a crowd, I got to meet the band, signed my album. He gave me a great big hug and asked me about my life. Forever my hero
I love how Conan announced Disturbed like he was expecting for them to rock out and then everybody ended being stunned by a fabulous performance

I'm glad you picked the live performance to react to. Most people react to the official video, which is great & moving; but this shows you how much power & charisma he has, live (and ill, too). That voice, pure, genuine, no auto tune or retakes, with those lyrics & orchestral background? Gives me chills every time, along with a burning wish to give him a list of songs to cover because damn!

"Hold onto Memories" by Disturbed makes me cry every time I hear it since my brother passed away from cancer last month. "The Light" is another great by them. ❤️

This song was written almost 60 years ago to deliver a warning to society about impending technology, and its inevitable course to end, divide, and persuade civil discourse and suppress our conscious.
The warning went unheeded.
David remastered the song, and it’s has made great impacts on everyone who can appreciate his remastered piece of work.
The expressions on your faces, your words of gratitude, appreciation, and sheer pleasure are very heartfelt for an old geezer like me. And it really brings me to this over encompassing conclusion. First of all music is the language of love. It pulls us all together, and gives us all equal balance in humility. When something as powerful as a song can strip away all propaganda being pushed today, and leave us all standing there; together as human beings, with open arms, minds, and souls.

Another great song by them is "Hold onto Memories" but one of his best known songs is "Down With the Sickness" and if you listen to it don't listen to the music video of it, they cut out a very important part of the song in the music video so just loo up the song, it will wonderfully shock you!
Disturbed is a metal band that covers this tune originally written and performed by Simon and Garfunkel.
Most of their (Disturbed) stuff is harder but his range is crazy! David Draiman was a Jewish Cantor in his family's church choir hence the reason he sounds like he's had classical training. He was sick the night he performed on Conan but he still managed to kill it.
He's also had serious issues with his vocal chords (ruptures) and has had a few surgeries to try to correct the issues. And he still manages to kill it every single time 😉

I love Disturbed ...David is a legend. I love finding random videos of him singing different songs. Look up unchained melody...he just sings a verse of it while warming up not looking for a reaction video for that. Just a suggestion for you guys to hear. Please do the entire Queen Live Aid performance...its a long video about 20 min but you guys will be blown away.

Disturbed's David Draiman is classically trained and his operatic baritone twist to heavy metal makes him one of the best American vocalists ever.
This is my absolute favorite band. Love seeing yall react to them. Very few artists I can listen to a full CD and want to hear more. SICKENED is a song I've had on repeat lately. Only audio is available but even without a music video it's a amazing song. Check it out if yall see this.

This is my favorite song and version. I had no idea David could sing like that. Todd Hoffman and Henk Poort are pretty good too. There is a Japanese trio called Super Vocal boys that had some cool harmony. Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres skated to the song. I was mesmerized.
