- 👋 Here is the all new 2025 Toyota 4RUNNER! The new 6th generation Toyota 4Runner is an all new SUV with the newest technology and features from Toyota. The Trailhunter trim level has joined the 2025 4Runner as one of the top level version. This 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter was finished in Everest, which is a very nice pastel shade of green/blue. I also love all the bronze accents for the exterior along with the massive fender flares and snorkel. The 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter gets an Old Man Emu suspension with upgraded upper control arms. You'll also get the drive modes for on road, but also off road. This has Multi Terrain Select, CRAWL Control, locking rear differential and swaybar disconnect. The Trailhunter gets the same grey SofTex interior we see on the 4th generation Tacoma and has the gold color accents and marble look for the trim. The new 2025 Toyota 4Runner has a fantastic new style with lots of similarities with the new Tacoma, but I can also see lots of the new Sequoia styling to this. I love how we still get the sliding rear glass that 4Runners love and a similar profile we are used too. A cool new style in the third side windows curving up to the roof like 90s generation 4Runners. Interior is basically a copy and paste of the 4th Generation Toyota Tacoma. So nice to see the same style that looks really cool. The back seat space seems about identical to the previous 4Runner with is plenty roomy. Good recline on the seats and they can fold flat or tumble forward for extra cargo space. You even have a center arm rest with cupholders, rear air vents and cupholders in the doors. Cargo area is a bit higher ten the previous 4Runner if you option the hybrid engine, but I'd assume the non hybrid would have a lower cargo floor. A 3rd row seat option is also available in some 4Runner trims. Trailhunter even gets a built in air compressor in the back. Overall the new 2025 Toyota 4Runner is a sweet SUV! I'm looking forward to seeing what the TRD Pro, Off Road and Sport look like. Along with the Limited trim and others they may come out with. I think the 2025 Toyota 4Runner looks great and has everything we hoped for. I'd also assume the pricing and drivability will be pretty similar to the current Tacoma. So it will be a cool new rugged SUV to continue the 4Runner legacy! Most likely I'll buy one at some point when I need an SUV!

Really good rundown man! Thanks we appreciate it. I’m set with my gen 5, but it’s still cool to see the new vroom-vrooms..I can’t speak for the 4 cylinder but the external styling is definitely an upgrade (besides the plastic fenders but hey it’s 2024).
Thanks! Yeah the new hybrid powertrain does drive pretty nice! Definitely a cool look on these. This one was still pre production, so some of the plastics aren't finalized. Can't go wrong with a 5th gen!
when are the driving impression reviews starting up?
I think around February these will be getting drive. As of now there's only a handful of pre production versions of these. So nothing ready to drive yet
How’s your dad’s 2016 4Runner doing? Is he thinking about getting the new one?
Possibly in a few years. He’s got a bit over 100k miles. Never had an issue with it. So we’ll see in the future!
is the underneath painted or coated? never mind too much money ha.
Like another vehicle the frame is coated in a black paint type coating along with the body components being coated in whatever they usually are in. Could always do an extra undercoating if you live in a salt climate.
Will new 4runner equipment with KDSS ?
I’m not sure. It’s not on this model, but could be available on the TRD models, some have that info yet!
No luck finding the Ineos Grenadier?
They had a bunch there. We just didn’t get to filming one.
Love it!
Do this review in Christopher Walken voice. LoL
lol I don’t have that talent 😅
I'll keep my 2nd and 3rd gens... not a fan of 4 cylinders or turbos
All good options. We'll see how the new one does long term. This engine does drive very nice tho in the Tacoma and Land Cruiser
So it's a new model... the 4Taco-er!!! 🤔
lol yeah the interior is definitely Tacoma
2025 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid Bronze Everest Green 4X4 Trailhunter Special Edition!
Yeah the new 2025 Toyota 4runner is cool
i thought i liked the interior color scheme but it kinda looks like a honda odyssey gray lol
Yeah the grey won't be everyone's taste. In person it's pretty cool. The TRD Pro and Off road will have other colors. Limited might have brown.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed fair enough. Really interested in the platinum, although at these prices with those engines im also considering just grabbing a ‘24 and slapping un updated head unit/cameras on that bad boy and calling it a day
@@user-bdpdfom Not a bad way to go for sure
If it ever comes out, and if the Turbo 4 cylinder doesn’t fail.
What do you mean “if”, it will be coming next year and Toyota has had 4 cylinders for decades, nothing new.
Going to be issues for sure. Will need a few years to get things ironed out.
What issues? The Tacoma has them getting squared away, so this should be fine.
gonna be issues for sure.
@@y00ng0 can you be more specific?
We don’t know to much about this yet but it’s better than ever..🙄
It’s the same power plant as the Tacoma so it’s going to be nearly identical..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I just don’t get why all the hype on a completely unproven platform. Tons of people hyped the new tundra and it’s been nothing but a failure. The taco is having tran issues and the last thing I would actually trust is anything new coming out of Toyota. 150k bumper to bumper warranty I would consider buying one, but the hideous look of it is enough to keep me away. You guys do nice work though honestly. As for my opinion, it doesn’t matter but I think a lot of guys like myself who spent alot of money on their products won’t be buying anything new they are pushing out.
I guess time will just tell. If you take that aspect away, from my experience driving the hybrid Tacoma and Land Cruiser. They drive great! So provided these are reliable, they are really nice to drive and use. 4Runner will be identical to the Tacoma I'm sure. But if they work out the kinks, it'll be a solid vehicle
Not better, turbo trash engine
That’s what you thought after experiencing it?
We’ve driven the Tacoma and Land Cruiser, not a trash engine.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed that's what I know from the tundra/gx problems.. I want reliability over everything else.
@@stickstig851 That was just debris is manufacturing causing some issues. Easy link to work out. Had nothing to do with turbos
@@stickstig851 those problems/issues were fixed. Toyota will get those bugs out but we’ll have to see. I know plenty of people who haven’t had any issues, it’s wasn’t as wide spread as people make it out to be.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed sure buddy tell that to ford as well
