    I like that you printed out the labels so they are easy to see and reference. The labels on the bottle are tough to read after you use it a few times.

    This is very helpful. I struggle with brown patch in my lawn, going to try some stronger fungicides this season to see if it helps. The disease ex from scotts wasn't cutting it.

      I was in the same boat and once I upgraded to the stronger fungicides, it helped alot. Good luck!

    Great video, fungus sucks. I dealt with this a few years ago and lost most of my lawn. Good job catching it early!

    I always wondered what the brown stuff in the lawn was, I learned something new today. Thank you for sharing.

      You are so welcome! Fungus can ruin your lawn if you don't stay on top of it. Thanks for watching Katrina.

      Thanks! I definitely had a little bit of damage, but it was very little and most of the yard did ok since I caught it early. It is on the mend and will get hit again this weekend with a curative app of Clearys3336F. Thanks for watching!

    Glad I found this video. Thanks for sharing. Put down curative rate disease ex last month but can’t tell if it was effective or not. Should I give this a shot? Still see affected areas.

      The stronger stuff works extremely well on leaf spot. I would highly recommend it, it's when I finally got rid of mine. Thanks for watching and good luck!

      @@TheLawnLover did you blanket spray the whole area?

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  Рік тому +1

      @LEFTYZRULE66 When I treat for fungus I do treat the entire lawn because it does spread when you mow. I blanket spray the lawn at curative rate and bag the clippings if possible

    I thought the % was the total of the bottle and then you diluted it down to close to the store bought levels, it's just massively more economical with the professional i.e. you get like 20k sq foot for the same price as like less than 5k sq foot. Correct me if I'm wrong just because I'm pretty sure that's how it works with pesticides, just not sure on fungicides/other products

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  2 роки тому

      The active ingredient is much higher in these. Even when you dilute it, it will still be stronger per 1,000 sq ft than DiseaseEx or something similar.

    Do you dlite with one or two gallons of water?

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  2 роки тому

      I have found with my sprayer that using 4 gallons (2 gallons per 1k sq ft) allows me to cover the 2k sq ft evenly twice to make sure I get good coverage. It will likely depend on your sprayer pressure. Thanks for watching!

    Do you think the fungus happened because of low postasum levels?

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  2 роки тому +1

      My potassium is low, but I have been working on it for over a year with applications of 7-0-20 in the summer include some apps of 0-0-48 SOP blend. It is near optimal range. A few years ago, the city installed a sidewalk and the contractor hydroseeded it in July when it was hot and humid and I got fungus and it killed off all the new grass they planted. Ever since this time, I have been battling fungus through the summer. The fungicides have done a great job at keeping them at bay though.

    • @johnnycortez46

      @@TheLawnLover I might try that SOP blend. My potassium is low as well
