Jedi cut off the occassional hand (or get theirs cut off) but Jack was always way more known for how badly he chopped up robots. I mean in the opening movie (when the first 3 episodes aired together) he was drenched in oil from all by the time he was done, let alone several seasons of that

She is certainly my most favorite character but at least one of her boss fight should have been like her first encounter with Jack where she summons 4 amazingly designed warriors to fight Jack... Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is a lot of fun and could still be fun even if you don't know anything about the series. but I recommend watching the tv series first anyway cause Samurai Jack is just that awesome, the story will be easier to understand, and the levels will seem a lot more interesting if the areas, characters, and monsters look familiar. I thought is was hilarious they picked The Sam-Moo-Rhai as the merchant npc and playing though the second level reminded me of how funny the Scotsman's wife was in the episode even though she isn't in the game. overall I think the review is fair, this game was designed to be a fun hack and slash game providing a alternate ending to Samurai Jack for the fans. it doesn't have to be perfect and for me it is exactly what I was expecting it to be and maybe even slightly better.
Probably one thing you missed was this was made by ex team ninja people who made ninja gaiden if your familiar with that then you'll feel right at home with samurai jack.
This was one of my favorite shows as a kid and I loved the adult swim season. I don’t wanna spend money on this game tho cuz I feel like it’ll ruin it for me.
Don't forget that this game is actually made by staff that worked on Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden II, including one of their directors Matsui. Really feels like a love letter.

The problem with making it resemble the PS2 era is that it also contains all of the constraints and clunkiness of a PS2 game. Repetitive audio, invisible walls, dumb AI .... It’s a bit lazy from the game developers.

I’m a Samurai Jack fan, so I was getting the game regardless. Lower your expectations and treat it as a hack and slash, and you’ll love it.

Yes he can, one idea is a Ben 10 fighting game with big arenas like budokai tenkaichi, and the gameplay feel of fighterz.
