the very obvious mocap in the cutscenes makes it a bit off-putting, it strays away from the otherwise cartoony nature of the characters. But other than that, that's really the only gripe I have about this game

This was Heavenly budgeted but the more important thing is this was clearly a passion project just from the cutscenes alone the people who did this went all out on everything they could. But hey they put a smile on my face. They did a damn fine good job On this.

Could have been a cool way to mix in Oni powers for the player while having Ashi interact with Jack's allies like Scotsman and having some drama with matches with her sisters, a rematch with her mother, and maybe even a fight against EvilJack. Oh well. Still a surprisingly good game.
Just realized the way Ashi goes against Aku is basically Jotaro and DIO's battle. "Ashi, you have Aku's power!" = "So it's the same type as Star Platinum."
For some reason the final cutscenes for me is glitched. The scene where Jack returns to the past and defeats Aku, I mean. The audio goes quicker than the visuals.
I would like to think that Ashi herself fused with her other self from another timeline since the pocket time universe allows Ashi to merge with herself from that pocket world to make herself exist in the past.

I play through the game and enjoy it. But no alternate ending? Damn you Genndy! I do not want my childhood to be ruined....AGAIN! I wish the three gods could reward our samurai for destroying Aku... by reincarnating Ashi.
I'm never mad about the ending to the series though, my only problem is the final battle with aku. And about ashi and hes friends all gone, at least jack found peace in the end. And that's all I ever wanted for jack. Everyone is now a stranger in this world, but in the end he found peace. It would have been nice if this game showed jack being at peace, I would have been happy for him. He may not have ashi or hes friends, but at least he has peace.
Scaramouche sorta reminds me of Apoo from One Piece and the story plot of time travelling from past to future with Aku & all feels similar like the current Wano arc. Could of Oda have taken inspiration from Samurai Jack?🤓

all it needs is an expansion pack or something like ultra-robots, the Spartans and the bull robots, the dome of doom champs what does anyone else think.
I wish the animators had done a better job. The 3D models look really well done, and the rigging seems to work wonders. I may be mistaken but they seem to have used motion capture, which never works for cartoons in my opinion.

Why didn't jack rotate his sword 120 degrees away from her and horizontally? He could've saved a life just by doing that, but he looked shocked that Aku shoved her to jack, still at his attacking position. This Timeless version of Ashi would immediately know that she was lied to from her entire life. At least, she would be grateful. Also, How does she know what a ladybug meant?
