One thing I always love about the fight with the Spartan King, was that we know from previous episodes, that the Spartan King is shown be a true, pure of heart, good person. Because the sword cannot be used by someone who is not a pure, good of heart warrior.
I like how The Guardian was pretty much giving Jack a run for his money. The one thing I know about Jack is how he's patient and waits for openings, even in the way he fights. The Guardian didn't allow him to do any of that because of how aggressive and relentless his attacks are.
1 - What, no shocked moment because of Jack being a bit weirded out on Aku's well built human form? 2 - Times have changed indeed at this point. Pity they just happened so fast. 3 - I was expecting to see that kingly Samurai Jack future that eventually got fleshed out in the IDW comics separate from the Season 5+Battle Through Time continuity. 4 - I swear, this episode makes me wonder if those rumors about the show getting budget cuts in Seasons 3 and 4 (not that those hurt the show at all, if true) really are legit or just plain wacko. 5 - Gotta love that "grenade throwback" at 9:58. 6 - Such an effectively sympathetic villain spotlight and mook horror show. Reminds me a lot of certain Batman and Superman tales that don't even have the superheroes as the main characters. 7 - Who cares if this may be a literal deus ex machina, the sheer awesomeness of it eclipses that flaw, not unlike Gandalf's resurrection in The Lord of the Rings. 8 - Just so we're clear, this ep was released way before Zack Snyder's 300 was a thing... wonder if Frank Miller watched this episode and loved it? 9 - I may be wrong in remembering, but I suspect this was the very first Samurai Jack episode I fuly watched years ago. Suffice to say, it was a glorious entrance to this glorious show, even without seeing "The Beginning" yet. 10 - To quote Rhinox from Beast Wars: Transformers: *"For everything that ever was..."*
the great thing about this show is you can name 10 fights that you loved from this show as the greatest in the show and no one will dispute you because a lot of the fights were that consistently good. My top ten in no order excluding the ones mentioned: 1.The Chicken Fight episode 2. When he gets captured and fights in a tournament against all these different monsters aliens and robots 3. The Essence Guy episode 4. When he meets and befriends the Scotsman 5. Jump good episode fight scene for the monkeys 6. The episode where he teams up with the monks to try to get to the past 7. Fighting himself the inner demon episode 8. When his dad fought and beat aku 9. The episode where Jack and aku fight in a graveyard and aku tries to kill jack with his own sword 10. The kid Jack episode in Africa where he learns how to use their weapons to save himself.
I didn't know about this masterpiece until recently. I saw fragments in different videos and thought, "What the heck us this? A typical action cartoon for kids and a sub-anime at the same time?" However, after watching some positive video-reviews, where people say that "Samurai Jack" is what animation has always meant to be and Genndy Tartakovsky is the Hideo Kojima of animation, I gave it a chance. And I really enjoyed it. No, IT TURNED OUT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN AND NOW I CANNOT WATCH MOST OTHER ANIMATION PROJECTS NORMALLY!!! Perhaps it's because I was tired of dull Undertale fan animations, including Underverse and Glitchtale, which I only found beautiful, and "Samurai Jack" was something completely new. I don't consider it the best cartoon ever made not do I worship Genndy, but the series found a place in my heart. In my country, Russia, "Samurai Jack" isn't really popular yet those who has seen it treat it very positively. In my opinion, the Aku of Andrey Yaroslavtsev, who was the Russian voice of Optimus Prime, and the Jack of Nikita Prohorovsky, who is the legend of our childhood, are not less amazing than the Aku of Mako and Jack of Phil LaMarr. Now I'm trying to make a comic parody with things from all my favorite video games and cartoons, though I'm really bad at drawing. Thank you for reading this dumb comment and sorry for English! P.S. Why didn't you mention the battle from the third episode? Of course, it's long, but isn't it the best cartoon battle ever?

12:31 Did he say "adamantium"?
The shinobi was definitely Top tier for Me
7:54 Man I love those moments when you can really tell the creators really wanted to make this show at LEAST PG-13 😂
thank you for uploading this, the last part is very helpful, knowing the beginning and the end.
10:45, this lady knows that Aku drained an ocean planet of all its water, right?
Might just be the most goated series of all time. They really nailed it with the last season too.
One thing I always love about the fight with the Spartan King, was that we know from previous episodes, that the Spartan King is shown be a true, pure of heart, good person. Because the sword cannot be used by someone who is not a pure, good of heart warrior.
4:50 this villan could be the last boss on the multiversus rifts season 2. 😮
5:41 that moment when the thief bot takes your level 3 laser in Descent II.
the great thing about this show is you can name 10 fights that you loved from this show as the greatest in the show and no one will dispute you because a lot of the fights were that consistently good.
My top ten in no order excluding the ones mentioned:
1.The Chicken Fight episode
2. When he gets captured and fights in a tournament against all these different monsters aliens and robots
3. The Essence Guy episode
4. When he meets and befriends the Scotsman
5. Jump good episode fight scene for the monkeys
6. The episode where he teams up with the monks to try to get to the past
7. Fighting himself the inner demon episode
8. When his dad fought and beat aku
9. The episode where Jack and aku fight in a graveyard and aku tries to kill jack with his own sword
10. The kid Jack episode in Africa where he learns how to use their weapons to save himself.
Totally true. I remember the chicken fight was brutal and really well thought out too.
When the doc of Power Puff Girls became a samurai.. best series ever Jack 🖤
Guardian was basically blue Hulk with weapons and actual combat skill 😳
Hell yea lol don’t rip that suit !
Samurai Jack definitely killed people. I gotta say though, the fight between him and the Shinobi was one of the best 👌
Honorable mention: the Scotsman.
That bridge fight deserves to be here as well. Simply epic.
“The decisions you make… & the actions that follow.. are a reflection of-“
“SHUT UP!”
“… of who you really are.”
LMAO
Aku being surprised at the 3 conditions jack asked was outrageous
To this day, I still laugh at the idea of Aku facing Jack as Ikra in that first fight.
"What? You said to come in human form..."
Could you imagine if Jack was using the bionic arm, that dexter made for his dad to a arm wrestle that trucker?!!!
The Shinobi fight with him as the light vs the dark was so good I still would think about it from time to time years later one of the best cartoon fights in history 💯
Adult Swim basically made the humor that I still enjoy today as a kid, thanks for all the good times yall
Btw if yall made a Metal Gear Rising style game with samurai jack, that would be mint thx 👍
Battle through time buddy
Hell yeah
"Can't use it yet, Samurai Jack" The Guardian, who beat the Samurai, knew that he wasn't ready yet to fulfill his destiny.
The backflip kick with the slice tell me we don’t need a samurai Jack movie
The daughters of Aku was such a good fight. It was a good showing of how skilled Jack is when he's serious
Edit: The bounty hunters is still funny like did you guys even have a plan 😂😂
I always wanted to see The Imakandis go against:
- The guardian
- Minions of seth
- Ultrabots
- Archers
It's crazy how aku and iroh are voiced by the same person. They are completely diffrent characters but both fit so well into their parts. Rip mako
I just wanted to leave a like on this video and move on with my day sense i've already seen all these fights before, but I ended up watching the whole thing... cause it's just to awesome!!!! 😅😂
