Thanks for the video. Love seeing and learning about F1 cars from the past. Mid 70s to the mid 80s in particular, my favorite era of F1. I'd like to see more about the retro cars, moreso than present day to be honest. Keep the videos coming 👍

Sorry, but Southgate did not invent loaded sliding skirts. Jim Hall used them on his vacuum car 8 years earlier.

If you listen carefully, you will note that he did not claim to have invented it. In any event, can you say with 100% certainty that the Lotus skirts were exactly the same as Hall’s skirts?
