My quick guess on the wheels is: -Instead of a rim you have a huge bearing magnetically connected to the wishbone powering it. The steering mechanism however comes from above and is connected to that weird Axel thing surrounding the wheel, which is connected to the bearing. -Whenever you turn, the wheel quickly gets disconnected from the wishbone in order to allow it to rotate. But this bring s an actual problem. If it disconnects then there’s no longer any power going to the wheels, and we’ve seen the cars actually go up some curves while steering. So I honestly have no fcking idea 😂 that, or there’s a spherical differential within each wheel connected to some crazy gearing on the wishbone ends👌

Yeah, with the way the T180s are built, the Mach 5 would never fare well in a T180 race, whether it had a T180 wheelbase or not. You'd have to replace the wheelbase, the engine, the exhaust for the engine, the general streamlining of the car, and you'd have to remove all the modifications from it, which when you place it all together would end up with a car that looks like the Mach 6 anyway, so why make the Mach 5 unrecognisable when you could just make a new car?

Maya Luna probably the weight
Yokohama Advan sponsored this?!
+XR32X Here's something else, too. Before Rex Racer faked his death, he drove for Uniroyal apparently.
@@alexk8792 actually he drove for Uniron. But Uniron was linked to BlackJack Benelli a fixer for the WRL. Benelli was thought of being responsible of Rex's death at Casa Cristo in the Maltese Ice Caves, alrough that being false. With that it was enough evidence to bring down Uniron.
@@d.dankey1168 It's easy to get the name wrong. Didn't Rex openly cheat in racing while driving for Uniron?
@@alexk8792 yeah he had to. The races were always fixed and had to take orders from the criminal underworld which is why he tried to take out Richenback and Yokima in the races that resulted in a DNF although he never had any intention to do this on purpose as he was forced to.
@@d.dankey1168 Even in a coporacratic world like the universe that the 2008 Speed Racer movie, there are criminals who are willing to manipulate things in order to get what they want. Also, didn't Rex openly cheat just to show that there's a big problem with cheating in professional racing?
I remember supercharged I miss 2008 man
13:56 I thought “lots and lots of love” was supposed to sound cheesy as hell, but here it fits perfectly and sounds more sweet and wholesome
I like how you can see the spear hook on the GRX but they don’t point it out!
I still believe. GO SPEED RACER GO!
I would pay $10,000 for the Mach 4.
Not gonna lie, I'm a guy and I love the Flying Foxes car. It's one of my favorite cars in the movie (no, it's not for the reasons you think.)
It looks like a car that would actually had made it into production, visually at least
1:15 what is narrator saying?

The cars from the movie has real sponsors like one car from the team thor axine inc, it has the sponsorship from sparco
There are about 3 real world sponsors in the movie. Thor-Axine has a Sparco sponsor, the Mach 5 and Racer X's regular car have Yokohama ADVAN tires and one of the background cars in the Casa Cristo race is sponsored by Juicy Drop Pop.
Wow so cool my favourite car from speed racer is the mach 5

I'm not blaming Aria for this, but the Extras on the DVD: anybody else notice that the Flying Foxes were left out of this?
