Yessss. We know its a re upload.... The editor made a hash of the job. We assure you the person responsible has been fired and banished to spend the rest of their life at sea (again)
but also there needs to be an editor sacrifice to the Motorsport gods.....and who made the hash mess of the previous upload needs to be the one that gets sacrificed!
I know what you mean, I look back and can't help but lament its non-inclusion in 3! I would have loved to take on that Nissan and Toyota with that beast on there!
I actually met Johnny Dumfries in 2003 and he was a really lovely guy and he was a great chat and he talked about his time in F1 and Group C racing with me and I was like 12 at the time and it was quite the experience!
@@jareknowak8712 I wasn't born during this Golden Era of GRPC,but i soon began to learn and understand why they were the Monsters Of Mulsanne back in the heydays.
Ammar Wazza If you really want to understand Group C, you need to understand that it was a fuel allocation formula. For Le Mans, the maximum fuel allowed was 2,500 litres and not a drop more. This was very strictly controlled. Despite the speeds reached on the Mulsanne, most of the stories you hear about massive power outputs and huge top speeds are exaggerated. But I was around when it happened at for me it really was the golden age. I’m glad someone mentioned the Porsche 956 and 962. They were arguably the greatest cars but they never seem to get a look in.
Thanks for that rivet counter You should have been with me and my friends in 1988 at the Esses as 3 Jags came around with their V12 engines humming after 20 hours
Jake needs to get up a little earlier and have a shower before putting on clean and ironed clothes. He looks like he’s been dragged through a hedge backwards.

Very good!!!
But what did the editor do
Please tell me that editor was banished to the horrific world of MotoGP and all things two wheeled

everyone: keeps their distance from the cars
Tony: yeah this is my car *knock knock knock*
It's built to handle much more, and he knows it.
Seing them cross the line that day after not winning for so many years along with 50,000 brits was something very special thanks for the memories TWR
I remember driving the Silk-Cut Jaguar in Gran Turismo 4... That whole era of Group C Le Mans prototypes were just so cool
Me too the silk cut jaguars were the best group c cars ever
I know what you mean, I look back and can't help but lament its non-inclusion in 3! I would have loved to take on that Nissan and Toyota with that beast on there!
Such a wonderful racecar! The late 1980's were a fantastic era for Group C racers!
Old school sponsors add so much to cars like this. Like football jerseys they look better the older they are

I still can remember the car driving and I had a poster of it as a kid. Always happy to see that car again.
was interested to see the wheel covers come off during a pit stop, good job.
😅
I always loved how they used the road going V12 engine as a base in the Jaguar racecars. They sounded fantastic.
In fact thats nothing special.
The base of the engine usually comes from production engine.
Jarek Nowak Many Group C engines were based on a production engine.
@@thethirdman225 i know, read my comment above :)
Jarek Nowak For some reason the second line didn’t display. UA-cam does strange things now and then.
Compared to the other teams, the Jaguars at the time had minor mods.
Really love driving this beast; on gran turismo.
Looks like a proper race car. Beautiful!!!
Awesome lnterview with the Designer of An Awesome Milestone Race Car! Hella Fast Badass Cat!
This is one of a the few cars I actually took a photo off at Autosport International. It is absolutely wonderful to see.
Absolutely gorgeous

As a TWR Jag fan from the IMSA days, I now need to change my pants.
Is there a car Martin Brundle hasn't driven?
After the MP4/4 last year, no. No here there isn't

Wrong front lights, wrong rear wing. That’s not the Le Mans spec car.

Unfortunately the driver “stepped out”???! Errr...WTF does that mean?😱😱😱
I think he said fortunately.
the presenter looks like he just rolled out of bed. Not a good look.
They should sell those cars for Australia fire relief instead of hoarding them in some garage.
Attach two water cannons
Well the silk cut jag is still raced regularly by its owner? With that logic why dont u sell your posessions and donate that money?
You're saying that only cause its not yours smh
