In Comand & Conquer: Generals / Zero Hour, the Global Liberation Army's EVA (Communications Officer Kanwar Khan) has some unique giga chad voice lines ;) The GLA Worker and Rebel Soldier also have some quotes that are meant to replace EVA notifications.
In this video, I am pitching the GLA announcer against other fans' favourite Electronic Video Agents / Electronic Voice Assistants across the C&C franchise, including Soviet's Lieutenant Zofia from Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge, Nod Field Intelligence Ajay from C&C 3: Tiberium Wars / Kane's Wrath, and China's EVA Lin Zhong. The GLA voice lines will be worded very differently...

I love how the GLA doesn't care about being formal when announcing things.

@@CnCDune Formality creates distance between them and the people on the street which they recruit. They want to show that they ARE the common people, that they are family, and to foster the fanaticism that allows them to recruit people to purposely die for their cause.

@@eaglepeakalpha I bet if you give them the Protoss shield tech and melee weaponry that'll let them get close, many of them would prefer the melee and stop using guns since that'll likely instill more fear towards the enemy plus they'll see themselves as true warriors more often.

Believe it or not, GLA has voice files for the normal Eva alerts. They are most commonly used in mods when units don’t have deployment dialogue. And oddly, some of the ones used here are not in the game as published. “We have sown our seeds in the enemy’s land” for example isn’t in the published game, and was cut for sounding sexual.

Never was a fan of playing GLA (mostly because they play out differently from what I used to), but they've always been great meme material.

Originally. GLA was supposed to have a power generator building, windmill generator, that supply power to their base like the other faction.
However, this concept was cut due to how easy it is to cut GLA supply due to US and Chinese overwhelming Air Force.
