That is an outstanding layout and I found it very nostalgic. I was born in Wellock Street in Newton Heath, Manchester in 1960 and could hear the steam engines and wagons moving in the sidings at the end of our street all night long. The sound of the engines taking the strain and occasionally slipping and the wagons taking up the free play in the couplings was somehow very comforting to me as a small boy. This layout really brought that feeling back to me. The attention to detail and the love which went into the layout is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing rhe video. ❤
Hi Chris - What a beautiful video and Vaughan Williams, one of my favourite composers, bliss. What a fantastic show, what day did you go as I was there on Sunday. Your photography is excellent and really does justice to such a brilliant layout along with the very evocative music of Vaughan Williams. One I have been waiting to see for a long time and one of my favourite layouts. Regards Chris
Hi Chris, thanks for your kind comments, It's such an evocative London layout, that I just had to use VW's "London" symphony. I was at the exhibition on Sunday as well, I've seen this layout before but never had a chance before to film it. It really is a work of art.
Simply amazing
