Thank you Captan K. I watched this one at a beach in Greece with a bucket of Coronas. Like you, I cant wait for the Toliss MCDU overhaul (...and the BSS sound pack). Future video idea amd food for thought: complete, step-by-step VOR/DME approach and landing. There are some great one out there but the VOR/DME Runway 15 into Baltimore / Martin State (KMTN) comes to mind.
can you do the 320s updated FP video step by step in programming it from dark mode to arrival? i have the all new models and i noticed your items pop out mine don't how you do it
thanks! Thats because the chart shows heading (H010) from PBD01. So after passing the first waypoint you want to make another waypoint at roughly 010 degrees from that point. Hope that makes sense!
While the Sec F-Pln doesn't work with the Toliss, those custom way points do work with the Toliss as well. Just in case someone is wondering about that.
Hi... I just discovered your channel recently and watched a few of your Airbus videos. You fly the FF320 and the Toliss319 and compare them. I have not seen however any mention of the JARDesign 320. Do you have any experience with this plane and an opinion on how it compares to the two others? Tx and greetings from Québec, Canada... 🙋🏻♂️
Great video my man!! I have a question for you...before I updated to X plane 11.35, I was able to run default airports/freeware airports (that do not include ortho) with my ortho images "under" the airports instead of that ugly default green grass texture, but now, after the update, I have like an area outside of the aiport boundaries as well as within the airport without my ortho showing but, only that ugly default grass texture (my global airports are below all custom airports and libraries, but ortho4xp tiles and the overlay for them is below global airports in the scenery.ini) Do you have any idea how to fix this? Thx so much and keep up the great work!
you most certainly could, but you dont want to add any confusion in flying past any of the restricted DMEs so I would rather turn earlier than later. The 12.3 DME from las is a MAX distance meaning even in the turn you dont want your aircraft to exceed 12.3DME so if you had "overfly" on and forgot about it you could easily make that turn outside of the protected area.
@@V1Sim Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not an expert on Jepp charts, but when it says to commence the turn at the 2.5 DME and 12.3 DME points, wouldn't that mean to be at least at those DME points before starting the turn? I am not sure where to find this info on the FAA charts, I couldn't see it in any of the SID's or Special Takeoff Mins published for LAS.
Brilliant, as always. Just a side question: in your videos you always announce "stick forward" and "stick neutral" during take off. Are these official with your operator or just for 'educational purposes'?

V1. Thank you so much for this content, so valuable to the flight sim community to get insight from a professional.
Perfect video, thanks!
Great video as always. Could you cover a proper shutdown after landing?
Great vid V1! Keep up the great vids
Really love your channel. Keep the great content coming!!
Great video! Well done. I learnd a lot!

What I learned from this was mostly the short way of putting pbd in. I thought you had to type the name in then fill the page that pops up from it.
Hi Cpt! I'm trying to activate the sec plan and i hit activate sec nothing happens.
Hi sir, can you please explain why the bearing for pbd02 is 010?
Great video btw and many thanks!

Bit late to ask this, but do you happen to recall the scenery you were using in this video for KLAS?
nice video , maybe you can upload more complex way of creating wpts like pbx.
How about A330?

Hi, when do you put your throttles into climb mode? I know it says throttle climb, but at which altitude does it say that? Thanks
Is that you GK?

Brilliant!
Hey V1, I’d love to see a vid. on direct/ alternate law
He has already done one when comparing the Toliss to the FF. Its actually really extensive.
Okay, I missed that sorry. I’ll take a look at that
Excelente... Tanks.
When plugging in the P/B/D, would you use the overfly function to ensure the plane does not turn before meeting the waypoint?

a320 requires half stick forward during take-off roll. Start releasing it at 80kts, should be neutral by 100kts
@@budguy21 My question was about the callouts.
Love this channel Great content!
