Thank goodness for this video!! Very thankful as the mechanic dude didn't know how to switch it, so I had to make appointment to get it changed. Not necessary now. Great explanation
Thanks for this video, I was perplexed as to why the blade would not pull away from the window, the instructions never addressed that. After seeing your video on how easy it is to just pull back the plastic bolt cover, it made the installation a breeze.
Same here! I have a Grand Cherokee Outland, and I found that if you squeeze the two clips inward, the blade slides right out! You just slide the new one in until you hear the clip snap and you’re in good shape!
Thank you so much for showing me how to do the rear wiper blade. I just bought a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited & I just couldn't figure out how to get the blade itself up.. lol.. You got a fan for life...
Thanks for posting this. I was going crazy trying to replace the wiper on my mother's Jeep earlier today. I knew there was something I had to be missing. That clip at the base is not obvious at all!
Thank you! My wife stopped at Auto Zone to replace the wiper blade. They wanted to sell her the whole arm and a puller tool to remove wiper arm.. I will be buying the replacement end and replacing. Your video was very helpful!!
Very helpful. Took about 45 seconds after watching your video, just after spending 5 minutes trying to interpret the hieroglyphics on the back of the wiper box and nearly breaking the arm. Thank you!
Man, you explain this so perfectly bro! I was struggling with my rear wiper blade on my 2014 Grand Cherokee, until I watched your video. You are very clear on your explanation and showing us how to do this. Much appreciated man! I immediately subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for this! Surprisingly, there is no info on replacing any wipers, front or back, in the owners manual. With your help, it took me about 15 seconds.
Ahhhh...Stellantis.... Not exactly a step forward in quality improvement on Jeeps.... But this tricky little rear wiper replacement was made easy when I realized, due to your video, that there was a hinge cover at the base of the arm.... Thanks for that!.... My buddy just had to spend $2,500 on his Korean made transmission for his Cherokee, with only 60,000 mostly suburban paved road miles on it ?!.... Jeep used to make really good products.....
Thank you for sharing this I was getting very frustrated and about to try to somehow force it off possibly damaging the wiper arm until I thought about checking for a post on it
Thanks a lot for the video. Clear and concise. It's hard to see through the dust, but is that a rear mounted dash cam above the wiper inside? If so, how do you manage the power wire when the trunk opens and closes?
Hey Colin, thanks! When I look at it now, it does look like a camera, but it’s actually a flood light on the ceiling of my car port 😂 a rear mounted dash cam would be sweet though!
I was out running errands at the store when your notification came through and I got the biggest laugh and smile from your user name. Thanks for the smile and the pick me up Rusty Zipper! 😆😁
I have a dumb question. Does the new blade somehow fit into the original plastic piece that you removed? On yours the entire blade is covered by the plastic piece like the original you removed. Is that just how the new one came? My new one is just a blade and doesn’t have all of the plastic around it, so the end of it is exposed.
Interesting. The replacement blade I bought was the entire blade, including the plastic. Basically the same "thing" as when you replace the blades on the windshield. The arms remain, but the blade and it's scaffolding that gives it it's strength is replaced with the rubber blade. You may have purchased a replacement rubber piece to the whole blade which could be replaced but will take more effort.
That blade just cost me $27 w/ tax from Amazon. Bought two 22" Mopar front blades (the driver's is 22, the passenger is SUPPOSED to be 21 - but 22 will barely fit) off Amazon for $26 a piece. The 21 was like $10 more expensive. The "GOOD" blades in autozone were $40 each - and I refuse to spend that. The MOPAR blades work great and are definitely worth it as long as you can find them for the same price as AutoZone's house brand wipers.
It might be the original, it could have also been replaced before I took it home at 55k miles. So it still had at least 52k miles on that blade. Craziness.

Wow, you explained this perfectly. I was struggling until I watched your video. Thanks so much!

great instructions & easy to follow..took only a few minutes to remove, install & complete, excellent!!
Yep. Saved me a bunch of wasted time. Thank you!
New wiper blade came with no instruction; you saved the day with your precise easy to understand instructions. THANKS!

They wanted to charge me $40 for blade and install. I only paid $12 and installed thanks to this video.
Very helpful. Took about 45 seconds after watching your video, just after spending 5 minutes trying to interpret the hieroglyphics on the back of the wiper box and nearly breaking the arm. Thank you!
Hey, thanks for taking the time to help and share with the rest of us!!👍🇺🇲

Short and to the point! It is ridiculous the owners manual doesn't give this information, worked just as you showed. Thanks Steveo!
Thank you Sir🙌🙌 +1 subscriber
Thank you after trying several videos and attempting to replace. I found your video easy. took me 5 min.
Thanks for this! Surprisingly, there is no info on replacing any wipers, front or back, in the owners manual. With your help, it took me about 15 seconds.
Finally, a video that actually explains it
Awesome video, no fluff, just the necessary details.
Thank you! I would've broke the dang wiper if I didn't see how easy it was watching your video! Cheers!
Thanks for posting. Saved possibly breaking things. Wasn't even in the service manual.

Still works on a 2021 grand Cherokee! Ty for saving me so much time
I was struggling with mine yesterday. Couldn’t figure it out. So ready to check this off of my to do list today. Thanks.

Thank you so much, my wife can now see through the rear window of her Jeep Cherokee! 🙏
So can I when she lets me drive it! Thanks so much for keeping us safe
Thanks this worked perfect. I did break off one of the little flaps on the armature, but it seems to be holding.
Thanks for the great video. Perfect guide for what I needed to do.
Exactly what I needed, thanks. Just like you, I also like when posible going for the original MOPAR replacement parts.
Glad I could help!
Thank you. Needed to see it done like this.
Lol, I was laughing at myself because of how easy it is to replace it, but now I can say I know how to replace it😁

Hey bud that’s for the video, I ended up having to get a Bosch online through Amazon, the Mopar was over $50 and on back order.
This definitely works
Thanks for the video. 👍🏼

I like the Mopar wiper blade! I got a generic brand and is not as cool 😅..Thanks!!

The only thing that I would've added to your video is to clean your window before installing the new blade.
Nice vid
Спасибо мужик!💪
Пожалуйста! Рад помочь!
You're welcome! Glad to help!
Thank you lol
Thank you. Auto zone wanted to charge me $40.
TA-DA!
107 thousand miles on one blade?! I’ve changed mine after it got old and splitting after 31,000 miles on my 2015 grand Cherokee
It might be the original, it could have also been replaced before I took it home at 55k miles. So it still had at least 52k miles on that blade. Craziness.
