KEEP your Pop-Up Tent PLANTED with these WEIGHTS
Follow along as I show you how I built these weights made from concrete and PVC piping. These weights can be used to secure your pop-up tent from blowing away from high winds during vendor fairs, craft fairs, camping, anything you would use a pop-up tent for outdoors. These weights will keep your pop-up from blowing away like the house in the Wizard of Oz.
The following are descriptions of the supplies and hardware I used to build these weights.
•4" x 10' PVC poop pipe - Qty 1
•4" PVC poop pipe caps - Qty 4
•Door/Drawer/Cabinet handle - Qty 4
•Bolts for all handle holes - #12 or 1/4" by 3" or whatever size fits the handle best - Qty 16
•Nuts for handle bolts - whatever size fits handle bolts - Qty 32 (or 48 to sandwich washer)
•Washers for handle bolts - whatever size fits handle bolts - Qty 16
•1/2" x 12" Eye bolts (mine came with one nut on each eye bolt) - Qty 4
•1/2" Washer - Qty 4
•1/2" Nut (to sandwich washer) - Qty 4
•PVC Cement
•Rope - Use your best judgement, I used 1/2" x 50' several hundred pound rated cut to 12.5' lengths
•50 pound bag Quikrete Fast Setting concrete - Qty 2
•I didn't end up using the carabiner for this project

I recently picked up a Pit Boss Pro 850 pellet smoker and it's awesome. I'm using their Competition blend pellets. The 8.5 pound pork butt was removed from the fridge and rubbed down with Meat Church's Honey Hog BBQ Rub (link below) and let sit for an hour to sweat out. Then it was placed in the smoker uncovered fat cap down and it stayed in there over night at 200 F. After 7 hours I sprayed it...

Grand Cherokee OWNERS: Leaking water pump? Replace it in your driveway
Finally someone who realizes molar makes the best blades for their vehicles
My 2014 grand Cherokee 3.6 overheats very easily and I just did a coolant flush and noticed it wasn’t sucking coolant in and releasing air bubbles when filled. I then took it on a very very short drive and it overheated again and then shot coolant out of the overfill hose. I’m thinking it’s the pump. What do you think? Thanks
Thank you for the video! I have a couple of questions for you, if you wouldn't mind. I recently purchased this same mower and wondering if you have positive feedback regarding the differential lock. I purchased this mower to mow my 3 acres and pull a utility cart. My property is a bit "hilly" and is the reason I was wanting the differential lock. It has been my experience so far the differential lock does nothing to help with traction in challenging areas. I'm quite disappointed with it. The dealership does not offer much help in this regard. I'm wondering if I add wheel weights or weights like I see you've added to the back of yours. I can't find wheel weights but your setup looks like it could help. What bracket and weights are you using? Thank you very much!
Hey highwayman! I bought this machine for assistance in clearing snow in the winter time in addition to mowing the yard. My yard is all flat so the differential lock doesn’t help me with that, but it does make a difference with pushing the heavy snow. The “one wheel peel” is real and the diff lock really helps keep the machine moving when traction is less than ideal. I use chains in the winter in addition to the weights in the back for added grip. I have a couple other videos posted of clearing snow with the plow and some occasions I use the diff lock to push and you can see how it just keeps pushing along. Check them out. One thing I have observed with the diff lock pedal is it’s quite hard to full push down. It’s almost like you need to stand on the pedal to engage it and it’s not fully engaged unless the pedal is all the way to the floor, but once it’s engaged, you’ll notice. Use the lock on dirt or gravel and make some turns, you’ll see the inner tire dig up as you corner. Perhaps you are not fully pressing down leaving you to believe it’s locked when in actuality it’s not? Something to consider. As far as the weights go, I’m using the standard grass bagging brackets that mount to the back and the weights just hang on that. It’s the same bracket specifically for the weights, Cub Cadet made it universal for the weights and the bagger so I didn’t need to buy other hardware which is nice. I hope this helps!
@@iambigsteveo Thank you for your response! When you said you have to push down quite firmly to engage the differential lock you had me thinking. My pedal pushes all the way to the floor with virtually no resistance. So today I peaked underneath to see if there was a reason and to my amazement I noticed the foot pedal linking to the differential was not connected. This is how the mower was delivered to me! What great quality control. LOL. Tomorrow I will hook the the foot pedal appropriately and see how it feels then. Thanks again!
@highwayman14711 holy smokes! You’ll feel a world of a difference with it once it’s working 😆 if I am honest, it doesn’t surprise me that it was disconnected, it’s the only model that has the locking diff so the assembler (whoever did it) probably glossed over it after crunching out the other models time and time again. Keep me posted on how it feels once you get it hooked up!!
@@iambigsteveo Well, yesterday I worked on connecting the locking differential pedal to the shaft leading to the differential. I had to adjust the shaft length to meet the pedal but finally got it connected. Boy, what a difference! Both tires will now pull equally when the pedal is depressed. But I did notice that the pedal is a little difficult to depress completely. It initially depress downward but the last approximate 1" of travel is difficult. However, as you are driving and depressing the pedal at the same time it will eventually smoothly presses all the way to the floor. As if its needs to mesh with the drivetrain before the pedal will fully depress. Does yours act the same way? Thanks again for opening my eyes to this debacle. On a side note, I found two 50 lbs. wheel weights that I ordered from "Mow The Lawn" for my back wheels. Looking forward to getting those installed.
@highwayman14711 hell yes highwaydude! Glad you got it working! And yes, the way you describe it is how I experience mine, the final inch of travel where it meets the floor is the hardest, like I said before, it feels like you need to stand on it haha. I think we are fighting against a stiff spring in the differential assembly, probably like a spring in a clutch pack for a transmission in a car, but a car’s clutch pedal is depressed forward using your thigh, where our diff pedal is probably out butt muscle lmao. We probably need to do more squats 😂😂
Awesome video, no fluff, just the necessary details.
I think it because you didn't put the spring back in..
Would you recommend doing the same thing but with tar? Good day to you!
Did a new rear diff in my 11 Hemi overland GC, and a new locking motor, 4x4 light returned 2 months later, so my mechanic ran different voltages though the wire got the motor to work, but thinks it’s a bad wire, so getting the wire checked by an electrical engineer next week
how did the jeep feel aftr changing the fluid ? better shifts?
Finally was able to change my motor and scanned it after clearing and got no codes. Scanned it again to be safe and I have the diff position sensor circuit and actuator code. No dash lights yet but did you try scanning after you replaced just to see? No codes were thrown?
Does it drone on the FWY?
Man, you explain this so perfectly bro! I was struggling with my rear wiper blade on my 2014 Grand Cherokee, until I watched your video. You are very clear on your explanation and showing us how to do this. Much appreciated man! I immediately subscribed to your channel.
Sounds good 👍
Definitely not soending $450 for a mopar one when they only last 60k miles. Going with the Gates $100 one this week. Meets or exceeds oem.

I was out running errands at the store when your notification came through and I got the biggest laugh and smile from your user name. Thanks for the smile and the pick me up Rusty Zipper! 😆😁
@@iambigsteveo - lol, people take themselves too seriously nowadays!
Thank you!
Now thats its two years later have you had any problems with this? everything still doing fine with running the system at a lower level? Any shock problems and bag problems? Any problems with bottoming out the bags at all while driving?
Hey James Bond, I sold the Jeep almost two years ago now, I did however have the lowering links in a long time prior to me making the video and up until when I traded it in. I had no issues with the air bags, really “dippy” bumps like bridge interchanges at highway speeds sometimes bottomed out the rear struts because it being in aero mode, but honestly, no issues came of that.
@@iambigsteveo Perfect, I don't want to go that low. I would just like the Exit mode all the time, so I think this would work for me. Thanks for the reply.
Yeah dude, it’s a nicer look, makes aftermarket wheels look cleaner, you’ll be happy going this route.
Steve, I have put a spiel in your previous post. A HellCat oil pump will give you a 12% oil volume increase. The new Melling 10452HV would give you a 20% increase, the way to go. I would be cutting open your dirty oil filter to check for metal shavings. I gather you are getting the oil examined. If any metal, the engine sadly is doomed. All the best with this.
I have just purchased the same vehicle, only 22,000klms on it. From Summit I have ordered a Melling 10452HV oil pump. This gives 20% extra oil volume, essential at idling speed. I will also be using 5w-30 Penrite 10 Tenths racing oil, changing it every 5,000klms. Low oil volume at idle is what kills the lifters. I have researched this thoroughly on the web and my mechanic who is ex Chrysler told me straight out, "the oil pump is the problem". This will not fix it, but I would expect to get a long use out of it. Vehicles used by ambulance and police get the lifter failure around 30,000 miles, due to all the idling. With every day standard drivers, their vehicle may fail atound 80,000 miles, some later and some can go on forever with no probs it seems.
I'm actually jealous at how clean and rust free your undercarriage is. Here in the great white north every single car is a rust bucket.
It wasn't too bad before I got rid of it. I did do some rust control on the underside so it didn't look as bad as it could have been.
@@iambigsteveo Well I wish the ones I did for mine work because the car just smells like coating for a few days then rust still takes place. One of the reasons why I got rid of my stock exhaust cause it started ticking so bad lol
Thank you so much for showing me how to do the rear wiper blade. I just bought a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited & I just couldn't figure out how to get the blade itself up.. lol.. You got a fan for life...
I’m about to try this. Are you still happy and no leaks?
Still no leaks! Everything that got wet prior to this fix is still dry as a bone from after the fix. Definitely do it!
Pan change? Ridiculous😐😭
Don't believe the hype change your filters. Change your oil 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks!
WHAT IS THE WHITE STUFF?
It’s a cloth tape with an adhesive backing. You apply this to cracks and seems and paint over it with the paintable rubber to make a leakproof seal. Without the tape, there’s nothing to assist bridging the gap of the rubber.
Hello. So, I have a 2012 Overland. After 3 days of non-use of my Jeep sitting on a slight inclined driveway, the rear of my jeep sits very low. I can barely put my fist in between the wheel well (if that's what you call it) and the tires on the rear. I have checked with watery soap to see if there are any leaks on the rear bags or elbow fittings of my air suspension, but I don't see anything. Do you think maybe the height sensor has anything to do with this low sitting?
Ahhhh...Stellantis.... Not exactly a step forward in quality improvement on Jeeps.... But this tricky little rear wiper replacement was made easy when I realized, due to your video, that there was a hinge cover at the base of the arm.... Thanks for that!.... My buddy just had to spend $2,500 on his Korean made transmission for his Cherokee, with only 60,000 mostly suburban paved road miles on it ?!.... Jeep used to make really good products.....
Where did you get those instructions
Scour the comments, I shared a link in a reply somewhere in here.
Found it haha thanks 🤘🏽
💪🏻💪🏻
Why would you sit a filter on the ground
It’s fine.
I just mounted the all season plow and the first pile of dirt i hit, same problem. Did you stick with this solution or did you change anything?
It held up fantastic for the remainder of that winter season. Worked like a charm. I suspect this would help tremendously with pushing dirt and of course snow!
@@iambigsteveo parts ordered... Here we go
At 100,000 miles I asked my Jeep dealer to change the transmission fluid on my 2018 Grand Cherokee and they refused to do it. It’s meant for lifetime service and changing it may possibly cause transmission slippage. That’s just what they told me.
Hey man, have been wanting to replace my chrome trim along my fog lights with some nice matte black, what would you recommend is the best way to go about getting the fog light trim out? I tried earlier today and was prying and pulling but did not want to break anything. Thanks!
Thanks. Well appreciated
I've never seen concrete so dry
I’m just following the directions.
That is some dry concrete mix.
I thought so too, but it was what the instructions called for.
you made my day ;-)
The relay you opt'd for would be nice with there rest of the parts list. In my case, the lights i bought came with looms, relay and switches altnough i cut them off and used different ones. Thanks for the ideas
Stainless steel worm gear hose clamps work too
They work in a pinch, but have the tendency to spin loose with vibration leading to the issue to come back. This is a more solid fix.
Thank you lol
Hello from France, how many pints did you use exactly? 7 or 8 Thanks
Why did you feel the need to change it?
Did the light ever came on
It never came back on after this job. I sold the vehicle July last year.
I don't want to do it anymore. Too much headache to do it on the driveway.

Having the same issue / codes with my 2017 GC Summit. Has anyone had any luck with a EBay China brand? It’s WAYYY more less expensive.
