Hi Rochelle and Danielle, Thank you both for all you do! For my whole life I have had extremely thin and fine hair. I can not go to a salon and get my hair cut, etc, because I am embarrassed to do so. I have even had cosmetologists make hurtful remarks about my hair, and one even pointed out my hair to other customers, comparing my hair to my baby's head-as having less hair than was on my baby's head. I don't think I even have enough hair for a hair topper to clip onto. Because of you two ladies, I have decided that I am going to order myself one of your silver-stone short wigs. The wigs look really natural on both of you. I would have never guessed they were wigs! When Danielle took hers off at first, I was surprised. Thanks for the video. PS - I would suggest for a first-timer to go with a style that is close to your natural style. That way you (and your family) aren’t quite as shocked at first. Then, when you get more comfortable, try out the wigs that are different and just for fun.

Great advice ladys. I have over 80 wigs in my collection. I was the victim of domestic abuse which left me with not much hair on one side of my scalp. Everything that both of you mentioned was right on. Great videos

That's my situation too, so much hair loss from covid (and my hair was already thin) that I cannot leave my house. I just purchased my 1st wig and wore it Christmas Eve!
Actually every time I wear one of my wigs, people ask me when I got my hair cut. Last week I was in Ulta wearing a bob wig with highlights and 2 of the sales staff complimented me on my hair. So great !
Im going to be getting a different Chemo in a couple months fortunately the Chemo ive been on dosnt. Make my hair fall out but the new one ill be trying will definitely make me pretty much bald so im looking now before. Hand so ill have it to play with first and have one im already gonna have styled.
Best advice, "Be ok" with family friends reaction!! (First time they see it) For me, some people won't say anything, for others, I smiled and just went with it. The surprising part was....I inspired 5 other women to start wearing wigs. It's very liberating!

The truth is, I find that quality wigs, like the ones you sell, almost always look better than natural hair that never really stays styled for long, even on younger women. Wigs are much cheaper than getting your hair styled and colored, and of course they last longer. One of my new wigs is a strawberry blonde and it just doesn't work with my complexion. My natural hair was dark brown and as the silver came in my stylists took me into blondes and eventually close to platinum. I plan to donate the strawberry blonde wig and consider it a lesson learned. Point being, keep you skin tone in mind when selecting the colors of your wigs. Some colors will look great, some just won't compliment your complexion. 😘 Enjoy the experiences!

I've tried many wigs but they were through inner city stores and they just DONT WORK with me. Thyroid woes and immune issues are a pain in the ass but as someone who likes to do things on their own and NOT go to beauty shops this tutorial is much appreciated.

I resieved my Freedom in frosti blond today. I LOVE IT.....so beautiful and naturel. The hair is just like real soft hair, and the color is amazing. I already feel it is MY hair. I trimmed the bangs just 1mm, and it was perfect. I like the grip band. It feel 100 secure ;) This is my first wig....but not the last. THANK YOU for the great videos.( Sorry for my bad english)

What I need to do is be able to try on different wigs to see what I like. I bought a wig, and when I got it I hated it. I ended up cutting it shorter and thinning it out. Now I don't hate it anymore lol. It is my one and only wig. My hair is super thin because of illness.

I've been on several wig websites today trying to figure out the difference between s capless wig, lace wig and everything in between. The whole situation became stressful and I ended up in tears. Dealing with a cancer diagnosis and everything that comes with a major life change is scary. Choosing a wig shouldn't be as difficult as I was perceiving it to be. I really wanted to figure this out. In my research of educating myself about wigs I found you two lovely ladies and have been watching your videos. @@GodivasSecretWigs : Thank you so much for all the information you just provided and positive energy. I believe I got a little flustered the other day and felt powerless. The water work's started and emotions got the better of me. I think it's difficult for anyone experiencing hair loss to deal with that reality. My hair took me year's to grow it past the middle of my back and coming to terms with letting it go has been hard. It's not my whole identity and what makes me the person I am. It's all the work I put into taking care of It over the year's. I have a lot of hair but it's fine. When I was young my mother followed the old wives tale that if you cut fine hair short It would grow in thicker. Needless to say all of my elementary and Jr.high school pictures looked like I was a little boy and not a girl. My head was literally shaved pretty close to a buzz cut. Many tears were shed over those year's and I quit letting her cut my hair by high school. It was awful. As an adult I committed to growing it out in my mid-thirties I'm now in my late forties and a bit sad that I have to say good-bye to It. It's already changing due to my treatments. I've been wearing cute beanies and fun bandanas with a pin-up look going on and it suits me. Saying good-bye is never easy. That's the hard part. I had a lot of fun with my hair over the year's and many transformations. That's what I'll miss the most. I'm already standing tall and facing the world head on. I have a cancer scar that runs from the top of my head down the middle of my forehead all the way over my left eyebrow down past my left eye to my cheek. It didn't bother me in the slightest to be out and about with no makeup. No biggie. The hair omg. Yeah it's tough. I'm binge watching your video's and learning. Even though we've never met in person Thank you for being there for me. It means more than you'll ever know.

I am still very self-conscious even after several years, especially if a breeze blows. Hello Melody, Thank you for much for your kind words. If you want a more natural hairline appearance, we recommend looking for a wig that has a lacefront feature. Our lacefront wigs are pre-cut and ready to wear with the lace part being undetectable. Wind will always be an issue but finding a cute scarf or headband to wrap around and tame the bang area down to the sides can also avoid someone seeing the hair line of your wig. Hi Lucy, here's my thoughts: 1. Our wigs are modern and made with wefts that are open- this means your scalp can breathe and it also doesn't inhibit hair growth. You may want to look into some newer wigs as the technology really is great now! 2. If your wigs are human hair, they are normally heavier (hotter) than high quality synthetic wigs like ours. 3. I'm not wearing wigs but I saw you before and you just got the right face for any wig style. You did it once in front of a circle of ladies. You are molto simpatica! My mother had 5 hairdressing salons and to do or pass her exam (to employ and teach apprentices) she had to make her own wig, like her masterpiece and she often won competitions and once the famous Alexandre came to Germany to visit her. Alexandre did Sophia Loren's hair, who mostly wore wigs. The lady with the dark hair is also lovely. I like your channel because you are so natural. You really give ladies who need it, CONFIDENCE. When you see other tutorials, if it's wigs or make up, they often have perfect faces, which is unfair for most watching.

I've always worried that when the wind blows and separates ones hair / wig hair that all the wefting will show and make the wig look so fake. Are there different levels of density amount that can help or only a fully hand tied cap is the solution? Also how can one purchase your wigs if one is not close to your shop? Thank you. Hi Carla, our wigs haven't had this issue and with the wefts, it make wearing the wigs much more breathable and the movement is more realistic. Love your look! All that you tried on look great. I've been wearing wigs for years. A note: if you live in a cooler climate, wigs are warmer and look so much better than a knit cap! I have expensive wigs and cheap wigs. No disrespect, but if you know how to treat your hair from the beginning (thank you for beginner instruction), you can work either like you are ready to walk a runway. Hi Rochelle and Danielle, Thank you both for all you do! For my whole life I have had extremely thin and fine hair. I can not go to a salon and get my hair cut, etc, because I am embarrassed to do so. I have even had cosmetologists make hurtful remarks about my hair, and one even pointed out my hair to other customers, comparing my hair to my baby's head-as having less hair than was on my baby's head. That is my biggest concern. Some people automatically ask, "Is that a wig?" So embarrassing!

PS - I would suggest for a first-timer to go with a style that is close to your natural style. That way you (and your family) aren’t quite as shocked at first. Then, when you get more comfortable, try out the wigs that are different and just for fun.

Great advice ladys. I have over 80 wigs in my collection. I was the victim of domestic abuse which left me with not much hair on one side of my scalp. Everything that both of you mentioned was right on. Great videos

Actually every time I wear one of my wigs, people ask me when I got my hair cut. Last week I was in Ulta wearing a bob wig with highlights and 2 of the sales staff complimented me on my hair. So great !

Im going to be getting a different Chemo in a couple months fortunately the Chemo ive been on dosnt. Make my hair fall out but the new one ill be trying will definitely make me pretty much bald so im looking now before. Hand so ill have it to play with first and have one im already gonna have styled.
Best advice, "Be ok" with family friends reaction!! (First time they see it) For me, some people won't say anything, for others, I smiled and just went with it. The surprising part was....I inspired 5 other women to start wearing wigs. It's very liberating!

The truth is, I find that quality wigs, like the ones you sell, almost always look better than natural hair that never really stays styled for long, even on younger women. Wigs are much cheaper than getting your hair styled and colored, and of course they last longer. One of my new wigs is a strawberry blonde and it just doesn't work with my complexion. My natural hair was dark brown and as the silver came in my stylists took me into blondes and eventually close to platinum. I plan to donate the strawberry blonde wig and consider it a lesson learned. Point being, keep you skin tone in mind when selecting the colors of your wigs. Some colors will look great, some just won't compliment your complexion. 😘 Enjoy the experiences!

I resieved my Freedom in frosti blond today. I LOVE IT.....so beautiful and naturel. The hair is just like real soft hair, and the color is amazing. I already feel it is MY hair. I trimmed the bangs just 1mm, and it was perfect. I like the grip band. It feel 100 secure ;) This is my first wig....but not the last. THANK YOU for the great videos.( Sorry for my bad english)

What I need to do is be able to try on different wigs to see what I like. I bought a wig, and when I got it I hated it. I ended up cutting it shorter and thinning it out. Now I don't hate it anymore lol. It is my one and only wig. My hair is super thin because of illness.

I've been on several wig websites today trying to figure out the difference between s capless wig, lace wig and everything in between. The whole situation became stressful and I ended up in tears. Dealing with a cancer diagnosis and everything that comes with a major life change is scary. Choosing a wig shouldn't be as difficult as I was perceiving it to be. I really wanted to figure this out. In my research of educating myself about wigs I found you two lovely ladies and have been watching your videos. @@GodivasSecretWigs : Thank you so much for all the information you just provided and positive energy. I believe I got a little flustered the other day and felt powerless. The water work's started and emotions got the better of me. I think it's difficult for anyone experiencing hair loss to deal with that reality. My hair took me year's to grow it past the middle of my back and coming to terms with letting it go has been hard. It's not my whole identity and what makes me the person I am. It's all the work I put into taking care of It over the year's. I have a lot of hair but it's fine. When I was young my mother followed the old wives tale that if you cut fine hair short It would grow in thicker. Needless to say all of my elementary and Jr.high school pictures looked like I was a little boy and not a girl. My head was literally shaved pretty close to a buzz cut. Many tears were shed over those year's and I quit letting her cut my hair by high school. It was awful. As an adult I committed to growing it out in my mid-thirties I'm now in my late forties and a bit sad that I have to say good-bye to It. It's already changing due to my treatments. I've been wearing cute beanies and fun bandanas with a pin-up look going on and it suits me. Saying good-bye is never easy. That's the hard part. I had a lot of fun with my hair over the year's and many transformations. That's what I'll miss the most. I'm already standing tall and facing the world head on. I have a cancer scar that runs from the top of my head down the middle of my forehead all the way over my left eyebrow down past my left eye to my cheek. It didn't bother me in the slightest to be out and about with no makeup. No biggie. The hair omg. Yeah it's tough. I'm binge watching your video's and learning. Even though we've never met in person Thank you for being there for me. It means more than you'll ever know.

Thanks for your wonderful encouragements and help! You are both a great team! I can usually tell who is wearing a wig or not, and even though I do wear them at times for the different looks. I am still very self-conscious even after several years, especially if a breeze blows. Do you have any helpful ideas how to keep the wig from blowing back and people seeing the hairline, or if it blows from the back and the netting shows? Many thanks! :)

Thank you for much for your kind words.
If you want a more natural hairline appearance, we recommend looking for a wig that has a lacefront feature. Our lacefront wigs are pre-cut and ready to wear with the lace part being undetectable. Wind will always be an issue but finding a cute scarf or headband to wrap around and tame the bang area down to the sides can also avoid someone seeing the hair line of your wig.
We do also have this product called Wig Grip Band and this is the #1 item that helps give the security when wearing the wig. You can view that item at this link: www.godivassecretwigs.com/wig-grip-bands/
As for the wefts showing when the wind blows, we can suggest wearing a wig cap underneath to help act as a barrier and making the wefts less noticeable.

A great video and I’ve learnt a lot even though I have had weeks for years I have never really had the confidence to wear them the only thing I find troublesome now is my head gets very hot am I doing something wrong?
Hi Lucy, here's my thoughts: 1. Our wigs are modern and made with wefts that are open- this means your scalp can breathe and it also doesn't inhibit hair growth. You may want to look into some newer wigs as the technology really is great now! 2. If your wigs are human hair, they are normally heavier (hotter) than high quality synthetic wigs like ours. 3. I' spent years donating my thick, fast-growing hair to charity to make wigs for victims of medical hair loss (almost 12 feet total). I'm not wearing wigs but I saw you before and you just got the right face for any wig style. You did it once in front of a circle of ladies. You are molto simpatica! My mother had 5 hairdressing salons and to do or pass her exam (to employ and teach apprentices) she had to make her own wig, like her masterpiece and she often won competitions and once the famous Alexandre came to Germany to visit her. Alexandre did Sophia Loren's hair, who mostly wore wigs. The lady with the dark hair is also lovely. I like your channel because you are so natural. You really give ladies who need it, CONFIDENCE. When you see other tutorials, if it's wigs or make up, they often have perfect faces, which is unfair for most watching.

I've always worried that when the wind blows and separates ones hair / wig hair that all the wefting will show and make the wig look so fake. Are there different levels of density amount that can help or only a fully hand tied cap is the solution? Also how can one purchase your wigs if one is not close to your shop? Thank you. I'm still on the fence about getting one. 😉
Hi Carla, our wigs haven't had this issue and with the wefts, it make wearing the wigs much more breathable and the movement is more realistic. Love your look! All that you tried on look great. I've been wearing wigs for years. A note: if you live in a cooler climate, wigs are warmer and look so much better than a knit cap! I have expensive wigs and cheap wigs. No disrespect, but if you know how to treat your hair from the beginning (thank you for beginner instruction), you can work either like you are ready to walk a runway. Stay away from Halloween costume wigs! Thanks ladies, I subscribed!
